Lol… I went to Paris and asked for a ham and pineapple pizza… after many minutes of confusion on translating pineapple, I googled the word for pineapple, so in my crappy Birmingham accent I asked for Jambon and Ananas, I was very smug thinking I’d nailed it…. He was like ANANAS? ON PIZZA??? NOOOOOOO!! He was in shock and totally flabbergasted, the concept of pineapple on a pizza across a lot of Europe is totally unheard of.
