That example is like saying that you put a human sized mouse trap up for your children. Then get surprised when they get trapped in it. And make them suffer FOREVER! for something you could have prevented in the first place ..... continuing from that. Those kids live in suffering so You give birth to one of your own children to Suffer and die as punishment for the children who fell for the trap that YOU!! Set Up? Now thats God right there...

    • @Bunny-ns5ni
      @Bunny-ns5ni 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

@@rs72098 didn't women come from men according to Genesis? Your logic is laughable.
Secondly, birds are not descendants of tyrannosaurs. Birds evolved from maniraptorans, which are distantly related to tyrannosaurs. They share no direct relationship to any birds. It is fact that birds are dinosaurs. They have the same morphology of their legs, the same skeleton structures, like dispersed air sacs, they have S-curved necks, the same number of bones in their arms(although birds have fused them), birds and theropods both have feathers, birds and dinosaurs laid on nests of eggs as seen in oviraptorids, and lastly, birds have a syrinx, the same vocal organ that dinosaurs, and all other archosaurians have, like crocodylomorphs.
Lastly, you can't "believe" in evolution, because it's not a religion. You either accept the fact of evolution or you don't, because evolution is a scientific theory of biodiversity. Scientific theories are the strongest of all facts in the scientific community, and evolution is the strongest supported of all scientific theories. It has been tested thousands and thousands of times over the last 150 years in countless experiments, always validating it's accuracy. We have evidence to support evolution, and with evidence you don't need faith. Faith, by definition is believing what cannot be verifiably true, which is why religion only has faith. Evolution is reality. That's the difference. Can you be any more wrong? You must be a creationist.

The closest you can get is birds, alligators, crocodiles and sharks, and others, distant relatives of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs ruled for millions of years, maybe 'god' loved them more than he loved humans, we've only been around maybe a million years, at most, and we're killers.

Lumby1 where does it say in the Bible that God created the earth to be the center of the universe and all the stars in planets rotated around it? Because I’ve never heard of that one in the Bible. What I do know is that God created Angles in the Bible it doesn’t say anywhere that He created Devils. It also says that Satain was an angelic being, wanting to be God so he was cast from heaven. God did not intend to create devils (See Isaiah 14:12-15 & Ezekiel 28:12-19 for proof)
Both Adam and Eve had a choice to eat fruit that God said specifically not to. They choose to and that’s when “the fall” happens and sin enters the world. We are all born into a world of sin and we do things that goes against Gods commands everyday. That is what makes us sinners not Eves decision 6000 years ago.

Im not God so i dont know how everything was put together..but if the written book..the bible is what it says it is..Gods revelation to man then He told us in there how He did it. It wd be smart to investigate the things told in there first..scientifically test them..see prove is it literally meant is it allegory..factual..a story or what to see if they r possible and plausible...to show the numbers work. Did God mean it literally...? Do the math and find out.
Sisters marrying brothers if they were born and raised 100 years apart is like marrying someone u dont know from another family. It wdnt be like us marrying our brother or sister same age who grew up in the house with us. 100 year olds cd marry 300 year olds etc. They lived long up until the flood. Why are there marine fossils on top of all our high mountain peaks or tropical plants under the ice at the poles? Also the Bible says God is fair in his judging..maybe he got too upset at all the screams fro. Ppl being raped...eg.Sodom. the men from the town gathered around Lots house and said "bring your male visitors out here so we can have sex with them. " does that neighbourhood sound appealing to you? God is the one who listens to the cries of those hurt by others...he hates injustices.
Its the same source as the museum in the video youre posting on. Answers in Genesis AIG and the Creation Museum. Pull up their videos. There is actual real science that supports mankind coming from 1 original mother, non christian scientists have found this evidence and it supports what the Bible says.
Check out evidence that supports a worldwide flood as in Noahs flood, ..in the exact mountain range in Turkey that the Bible says Noahs boat docked Ararat they found a decayed boat the same dimensions that the Bible gives for thw size of boat Noah built. Also the town nearby is called town of 8, eight survivors on Noahs boat, and altho no water nearby huge anchors carved from stone are neaby in the towns valley they think r anchor stones and balance stones. from Noahs boat. Generations of Christians carved crosses into the stones marking 8 ppl 4 men and their wives. ANSWERS IN GENESIS. :)

If you are so knowledged and intelligent and know everything(obviously only God knows everything and in fact he never learns anything new) then this choice should be simple for you. As human history and the bible shows humans are easily decieved by lucifer and the other fallen angels who decided to rebel against god due to free will. Thus, I highly recommend you do not take your choice lightly without much study of the bible first.
As far as science goes and the athiestic bent its leading scientists take, how can everything come from nothing in the big bang? How are the laws of pbysics and thermodynamics not considered here? Conservation of matter, of energy? How about the increase in randomness? Yet the universe is incredible with form and life. And evolution? What a joke? U are kidding right? Single cell organisms formed in salty pools of water over billions of years? That explains the complexity of life in higher forms such as humans? Lol. Incredible. What about the huge amount of dna instructions for the trillions of cells? How is order created from disorder? How were all definitions defined for each cell? Why are males different from females? Why does the earth never stop spinning on its axis? Torques from the sun n planets due to gravity? Sounds like a perpetual motion device! Lol. Yea, right. Lets face it. The most intelligent human scientist has no clue on so many questions. The flowery and wordy statements lack any substance or proof (but it sure sounds good!). All the scientific theorys of evolution and geology have never been proven yet these people assume they are fact. What a joke! I wish you the best and pray that you and these other athiests reconsider your belief system.

+jakkew There is 7 steps of atheism. Read some Richard Dawkins... No respected scientist can say there is no gods 100%. One needs evidence to say something that absolute. Most definetly creator if there is one has absolutely nothing to do with earth gods. Basiclly i feel the same way as you.
      Agnostic!!!
Regarding bible and all the holy books of all the main religion... It's utter nonsens. Not only is it nonsens but nonsens that uses violence and suggests violence as a solution. Why Jews were calling themselves chosen? It somehow makes it ok to kill and murder and rape and enslave cos we are the gods favourite? Totally makes sens to justify all the horrible things that we do.
I have a solution. It's called education! Read books not a book.

Unfortunately ppl feel special cos their chosen deity is looking after them. Simple minds need that kind of support. When one makes a bold statement like existence of god, it's ones responsibility to provide evidence. Of course nor You nor anyone can.

    • @suzum5689
      @suzum5689 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Silverfirefly1 I disagree. The most damning things we can do to our kids is to force mere theories on them while declaring they are fact and truth. That locks our students into an intellectual prison, from which they aren't free to study natural history and come to their own conclusions. This results in beginning their studies on mere assumptions coupled with bias, and stained with scorn for any other possible theories.
That technique interferes with true science, rather than encourages it.
Some of you show that exact thing in your statements in this thread. You are so locked into one view, even a flawed view, that you are scorning the rest of us.
      Two things:
      1. Everyone has access to the same evidence. But NOT every scientist comes to the same conclusions. And they all can't be correct. Guess what that means. That means that sometimes...MANY times... scientists are WRONG. Everyone needs to come to grips with that idea. Never let a scientist be your god. Man is finite.
      2. In regards to Creationists: They already admit to beginning with their faith as they observe nature. We have had personal experiences with God that encourage us to trust the Bible's historical accuracy. What Creationists do, is observe the world and watch how it 'just happens' to line up with Scripture. For the things we can't observe happening first hand, we observe the results, and think up situations, based on events in Scripture, and then test them. They have found many things that credibly fit with biblical accounts, so they are worth considering as 'it could very well have happened this way'.
Some things you need to start respecting Creationists for: They ADMIT they weren't there at the beginning, so do not claim to KNOW. They are very clear that NO ONE was there, even those believing in Evolution. So they are very fair to those they speak to; THEY are the ones who encourage people to actually THINK things through..
As self-proclaimed intellectuals, you folks, of all people should admire that.
I encourage you to escape that trap of wildly believing EVERYTHING a scientist comes up with.
Be flexible, knowing more information will always be discovered, that perhaps will answer our questions over time. History has shown again and again that the best of scientists, the most convincing theories-believed for centuries- have since been proven wrong.
      It happens.

Birds are not dinosaurs, they are the evolved progeny of dinosaurs, but they themselves are not considered dinosaurs. There is just too much species differentiation between them and reptiles to make the conclusion that they are still "terrible lizards". Just because they share an ancestor doesn't mean that they are still that ancestor.

Cladistic isn't really used by anyone today, and the linear model is actually the dominant model and approach to biological classification still. I don't know where you get your information from and don't bother citing your claims because I don't have any sources to refute yours because no one has ever written about how the linear model compared to clades because no one takes clades seriously.

4- five unskilled people successfully built an ark the size of a football field
5- animals, including dinosaurs, were recruited from all parts of the world, in days, to live in an ark for months and not one of them ate or defecated in the ark
6- animals went from vegetarians to carnivores because a woman ate an apple
    7- Science is evil
8- no matter how ridiculous something sounds it was possible because God did it

Firstly; the average size of a dinosaur was that of a sheep and if God is intelligent; he would bring the youngest on board (providing you believed in God). By the way, where did you get the figure that 99.9% of species were extinct?
Moreover, you said the arc was a small boat. Have you taken the time to study the dimensions of the arc.

This can be seen demonstrated in the flags of Saudi, Hamas, Al Nusra, Al Qaeda, ISIS/Daesh, Al Shabab, the Caucasian Emirate. The Arabic script in these flags are the same, it is the Shahada. This text has nothing to do with terrorism, it is rather the fundamental declaration in Islam that 'There is no god but god, Mohammed is his messenger'.

There is a difference between freedom of speech and brainwashing an entire generation with unproven doctrine. This twisted form of education only mirrors 1930's Nazi propaganda from my perspective.

Science has been proving God more and more. If the earth came about by particles coliding etc etc...where did the particles come from and where did the universe, gravity to hold it all together and the friction to cause the explosion come from???? Everything in creation has an origin and tge things they say caused the big bang (atoms, particles etc) came from some where. So since you say there is no God, when all of creation(earth, space, sun, moon, stars, galaxies, life etc) prove otherwise, where did the particles and space for the "big bang" to happen come from????
God created it. As a scientist stated the big bang is exactly how creation would come into being when God LITERALLY SPOKE IT INTO BEING...SUDDEN AND FROM NOTHING.

Baylen Dudley I appreciate your reveal. I personally have very little confidence in Ken Ham, et al. I do respect some of the work that has gone into the collating of ideas, research, etc. I, too, am very skeptical of all men's secret agendas. The facts, however, lead me to my strong confidence in God's Word as the absolute final authority for all mankind. I believe that it is the inerrant, infallible Word of God INCLUDING the very transparent wicked acts that are recorded within it's pages (sacrificing your daughter because you said you would, chopping up your concubine into 12 little pieces and sending them off, taking virgin women as slaves as a prize of war). Nothing has been brought before me (and I have a lot brought before me in my position as a University Campus Evangelist) has caused me a moments pause to doubt the literal account of Creation as given in Scripture. HERE IS WHAT I DO...when someone from the Secular Student Alliance, the Biology Department, etc. brings information to me (a link, a paper, a book, etc.) I take the time to go through it thoroughly with my skeptical mind (side note: I believe ONLY a skeptical mind can lead a person to true, solid faith) and answer it. I DO NOT just put it in my satchel and go on my merry way believing something because that's what I have always believed. I AM, however, very disappointed that MOST TIMES I am not afforded the same courtesy when I do the same. I have to go to Talk.Origins and "get into the mind" of my adversaries (which I enjoy doing...but all things, as you know, take so much time). This mindset is the same one which causes me to buy books like the SAB (Skeptics Annotated Bible), The God Delution, etc and READ THEM...and WRITE RESPONSES to them. @Simon Walrod How would that make the quote any less valid (supposing your claims on the life of a poet [no one said scientist]) are true?
To be fair, Cain's wife seemingly appeared out of thin air (seeing as only his mother and father were the only other two humans in existence at the time).
There's even a story in the Bible about a woman who's husband died, had to sleep with her brother in-law (in hopes to "continue her husband's lineage"), failed to produce a child since the brother in-law wouldn't ejaculate inside her (which is why God kills him). She then poses as a prostitute to seduce the father in-law, gets caught posing as a prostitute by the villagers and is forgiven after her father in-law discovers her identity and the fact that she tried to get pregnant by him.
These are the people Jesus came from. So if you're trying to discredit Edgar Poe based on incest (supposedly in support of Abrahamic theology), just remember that little story from the Bible.

I went to Christian youth group and church a few times when I was a teenager and in my early 20s. From that point on, I was an athiest, not the smug intellectual kind, I just did not see the point for organized religion. Years later, I came across Dr. Jordan Peterson's interpretation of the bible and I listened to some of what he had to say (did not make me a Christian, but it was enough to make me think he had one of the more spot on understandings of why people have an emotional need for religion).
Conclusion: I am a complete athiest, give me scientific explantion over religous ones. However, I have gave a bit of thought on why religion is so important to so many people. I guess its so they can feel they are a part of something bigger than themselves, plus spirituality may just be another way of saying " my emotions", while at the same time you want to be around people who are on board with the same way of thinking. Nothing wrong with wanting to feel good emotionally.
