In my (personal) opinion, Ozark trail is definitely better than it was 8 or 10 years ago. I bought a knife exactly like the one in this video, and I love It. The blade shape/profile is what drew me to it. I like chopper/cleever shaped blades. I have 5 or 6 Ozark trail knives of different styles. Folders, spring assist, fixed blade etc. they do good for under 8 bucks.
I got mine and I thought I would just give it away. Now it's always on my hip. Uncentered blade, and heavy. I love it. Holds sharpness quite well. I've been slicing boxes 2 days now and it's still smooth.
Not a bad looking knife. It's hard to tell if the frame lock would fit between the blade and other frame scale if it ever were to lock up way late. That's when they really do become dangerous.
I’ve seen this knife at my local Walmart for $7.97 I thought about getting it for small jobs like cutting twine, cardboard and opening packages but I already have a Kobalt razor knife that does all that for literally the same price. I do like the nonthreatening blade shape like it wouldn’t scare the sheeple normies and non blade enthusiasts. For the low price if you lost it or broke it wouldn’t be a big deal

Got mine. Like it so much, I got another. Great look, construction, and feel--especially for under $8.

when i saw these in store i wished the safety lock was a lock/switch to open and close the knife with … would be cool… bummed that its not
I was disappointed too, I was hoping it was some convenient new deployment feature or something
The lock doesn't bother me. I just keep it off. I wouldn't leave it lay around anyway. So no risk of a kid getting hold of it.

I just got it today for the $7.97 price. I haven’t seen it,in the store at least, for $6. It’s not too bad.
Best $6 knife ever
I’m liking mine.
