fun tip: do not put ferric chloride in aluminum containers. it will begin to boil and melt your aluminum container instantly. glass or plastic yall.
Bruh who would put a chemical that’s made to dissolve aluminum in aluminum
@@amonGustavo07 me. I'm that guy
@@amonGustavo07 you'd be surprised, there's too many dummies in the world haha
I know that from breaking bad
Man I love this channel. The editing is great, the camera work is amazing, and the content is out of this world. Congrats on 100k man!
Thanks 😊
Man we need more people like you. You tell us what we need to know with no messing about. And you're hilarious! Keep it up mate 👍
The lords work sir! The lords work!
Probably the nicest tenacious I’ve ever seen. Awesome vid man. 👍🏼
Thanks Mike 👍🏻
Thank you very much for the instructions! I tried this today on my Tenacious. I used pure Ferrochlorid for 15 minutes and produced the stonewashed effect in a plastic container with rocks I collected on my tours in the woods. I used WD40 as a liquid and shook it by hand for 5 minutes. The blade could be a little bit darker in my opinion but the stonewashed effect turned out pretty nice. I put Flytanium Ti scales and a black deep carry pocket clip in titanium on it. Finally I sharpened it with the Spyderco sharpmaker - I liked it already before in its original state but now it looks absolutely badass. Best regards from the Black Forest / South Germany!
This is badass, im starting to really get into EDC stuff, love it.
Dude, Nice Quality! It's crazy how lucky I've been on finding good channels. Keep up the good production work! And kudos to you for all the neat work you've been doing so far!
Thanks 👍🏻

Awesome video! Thanks for making this available. I’m definitely going to have to try this. I love how you explain that it doesn’t have to be an overly complicated or expensive project. Just subscribed too.
Dude that's the most awesome tutorial here in youtube! Ever!
Came across this video in my edc youtube hole...fine job sir. Really enjoyed your simple presentation. No need to be overly scientific, just fun.
Saw this video and pulled the trigger - UPS left today and I stonewashed my "brand new" Gray FreeTiger FT903 afterwards ... It's even more of a beauty now👍🏼
I just subscribed to your channel!!
first video I've seen of yours and I instantly subscribed. Great video. Love how you give diy as well as money bought tips. Good to have both as I'm just starting out restoring blades and hopefully eventually forging my own. I actually have a knife I think this would look awesome on so thanks.
Always great content, and the production (video editing, music, etc) is 1st class. All that and you have a beautiful home- I really dig your style! If there's one thing I look forward to each week, it's something from you. And if there's nothing new, well, I replay one of the previous ones.
Should have a late man shit Monday coming out tomorrow. 👍🏻

It turn out cool looking and those scales are nice also.
Dude! I love it, I learned so much! Keep it up. Hey do an EDC episode.
I love blackwashed blades and this one turned out great 👍
Acid etch is definitely my favourite finish on blades, especially when you put a mirror finish edge on them it just makes it pop
Just discovered this channel, I love the content and it's cool to see a content creator in the Jacksonville area
Wow. Very nice. That's what I should do to my knives.
That was awesome, definitely going to try this out!

Thanks for sharing! That was a fun one to watch. Is it weird that I impressed how well the audio sounded in the garage? lol Also congrats, you officially hit 100k, nice!
Thanks! Glad the audio sounded good. Might be the new mic I have been testing out. The deity D3 pro. Love it so far. Review coming soon. 👍🏻
Thanks for the tutorial man !!!
BOOM!!! 100,000 . . . . . . CONGRATS, BROTHER!!!
Thanks 😊
First timer just subcribed. Your one entertaining dude.
I've got citric acid it works well; I just leave the piece soaking over night to get a deep charcoal grey finish.
Alright alright, thanks for the lesson. Heading to garage now, 106 degrees right now in Laredo, Tx.
Cool! I always wanted to make knifes. I was curious on how to get those finishes.
Very cool, brotha. Digging your content. Wishing you all the best in the future!

Excelent vid, Jeremy. Can't wait to get started on this. I do want to wait till it's about 100 here in Tampa.
That is really cool looking.
Pocket Knife, original fidget toy. Congratulations on 100k subs. Keep up the great work man.

Testosterone Tuesday works!!! So excited!!!
Looks good, thanks for the info.
Fanatic tutorial and congrats on 100k!
Thanks 😊
Can you do a review of that knife sharpener? A how to?
What sharpener is it?
@@natelund2914 Looks like the EdgePro Apex, good system more flexibility for angles, thin blades etc than others I've tried. I use water stones on my camp knives but for day to day the EdgePro is pretty foolproof
+10 for this suggestion.
Nice job. You're pretty funny while giving great instructions.
Hope you're still enjoying life.
Hope your neighbor is well also.😆
Going to do this to some knives now.
Be blessed,
Leo 🦁 from San Diego ✌️.
Rockin that beard brother...beard brothers unite...great video
Great vid! Would like to see your knife and watch collection.
Great outcome..... Love Spyderco blades. Subbed
Holy crap your in st. Augustine lol I just left there Sunday. Funny TH-cam made me stumble on your channel!
Great tips, thanks a lot 🤘
Sweet! Thanks for sharing
great video my guy. just did this to my benchmade two weeks ago
One of my favorite customizations! Looks great! Love me some Benchmade by the way 👍🏻
Thanks for the video. I just got an M4 Tenacious to acid etch. Also got some copper scales Im going to shipwreck for it. Im gonna look into that tumbler and media from Harbor Freight.
Knice vid bro. I sharpen knives for a living, so hats off to you. Spydies are a great blade as well. Also like Chris Reeves Sebenza 21s and any plunger locks. Cheers
Thank you. Great vid.
*I like your videos bro... I especially liked the "clear ice" video. :)*
*anyway, just stopped by to say hi*
Damn fine video. Love this dude. I’ve got two Emerson A100’s and will try it on one. Also have two H&K Nitrous Blitz and will try it on one of them possibly. Look forward to seeing your other videos.
I spotted that deck of monarch cards. Great video
Awesome content, thanks!

Bro 100,000 subs. Congrats! Been here since almost day 1. 6.6k to be exact.
Awesome Zach! Thanks for being an OG 👍🏻
Neat stuff and neat vid!
You totally looked like the fisherman on Gorton’s seafood logo haha! Yea I’d like to know what sharpening process you used as well! Thanks again for the bad ass episode!
Awesome job Jeremy. Those look sweet. Any chance of a video on how you sharpen your knives? Every time I try to sharpen mine, I wind up hacking them up. Love the channel man. Keep it up.
Yeah, lots of knife stuff on the books. I’ll definitely do a little something on sharpening 👍🏻
Sweet one I might try here up the road in Charleston
Thanks for no overcomplicaing things.
For those of us without decent knife sharpening skills/equipment, do you reckon nail polsih on the blade edge would work too?
Cool tutorial. This is also a great treatment for a knife that has a lot of scratches already from hard use or even for buying a used knife for a great price and refinishing it. I like the scales you have also on Your tenacious. Are they aluminum? It look much better now with the mods than the stock look. Thanks for the vid.
"My neighbour decided to do his lawn", exactly when you need a knife!
Awesome dude
Congratulations on 100k my man.... I'm a Spyderco guy as well (flickin' all day)
Thanks 😊
About to do this on my Satin blade BHQ Tanto PM2. Going to look sick!
cutting edge stuff.... grats on 100k subs!
Thanks brother! 😊
