I have a knife from Harbor Freight just to keep in my office, but half the blade is serrated, and I hate that. Picked up this Ozark Trail knife for $2.50 on clearance and I am quite happy with it. Your review is spot on. My EDC is a $3 flea market find that works just fine because I tend to regularly lose my pocket knives.

I've got the double stack, 5", no rail and cc it with 4 spare mags and 1 in the firearm. I know, overkill. but with the holster, which rhymes with vanish, distributing weight so well it works. I'm in Florida, wear shorts all the time, an outside the waistband dark shirt with a design and sandles, I just look like some average Florida dude. Love the pistol, only thing I don't like about the holster is the 1" of the front of the firearm that hangs out of the holster chafs my fragile leg skin, funny, the front edge of the pistol is the only slightly sharp edges, not bad but you just have to adjust the holster for the sweet spot. Would buy another one in a heartbeat.

For the original Ti lite run, the aluminum handle model had the double holes milled out and the zytel handle had single milled holes, like the hold out and counter point (but with the allumunin liners) in the new runs both the zytel and aluminum have the double holes milled.

Looks just like my Stoeger/Uberti .44-40 same brass backstrap and trigger guard,color-cased frame & trigger and 5.5"blued barrel which is my preferred bbl length(Artillery model design). I don't think they are necessarily a bad defense choice either. That type of gun will invariably prompt you to focus on making more deliberate and calculated responses in any situation. Everything has an advantage and a disadvantage. Was a time when a lot of western people wouldn't carry anything else. I would not feel undergunned with my singles anymore than with my swing-out cylinder dbl-actions. And a side arm is just to hold you till you get to your long-arm!

Are you certain this is a hollow grind? It's my understanding the initial production of the Espadas were hollow, but now they have a flat saber grind. I just purchased one, it will be delivered the day after tomorrow, and it is my hope it is not a hollow grind. Although, if it is, with s35vn steel it should be perfectly fine and not brittle. Maybe it's a trick of the eye, but as the light reflects on that sabre grind portion, I don't see any distortion on straight lines. All good either way, but what is the scoop? Also, I think I heard a comment in there about the s35vn making it more brittle, but I have many knives with that steel. I put them to embarrassingly aggressive use and they are not chippy or brittle at all. Indeed, Crucible specifically developed s35vn to reduce the occasional chippiness found with s30v. I'm confident they succeeded in that. But I'm also an open-minded person. Am I wrong in this belief? Is your experience different? It might be fun to do a test where you compare an s30vn steel with an s35vn steel, in a hard test, if possible? Nice video. Gorgeous knife. Cheers [[UPDATE: My large Espada, SV35, judt arrived, and it definitely has a flat saber grind, and not a hollow grind. If yours is not also flat I can only presume you have an early model. The eye fools you a little bit, and you have to literally put a straight edge against it and confirm there is in fact no Gap whatsoever. Cheers]]

The Hornady is no joke and is actually accurate. Even out of my tiny bond arms. Imho the winchester is so unpredictable I found it not only inaccurate, but arguably dangerous. Back before it was impossible to find I saw numerous gel tests with the federal handgun triple ought buck which produced the most devastating results.

As a folding lock blade knife, it's hard to beat for a kit knife/survival knife. It's lock is so strong you can also strap it to a stick for use as a spear. A somewhat softer (the same as many decent grade kitchen knives) but very rust resistant steel is actually a benefit as it makes the knife easy to sharpen on basically any rock found in the wild.

I traded one of my guns the other day for the Model 66 357 Magnum. I chose the blue or black finish. I have my safe Queen Revolvers that are Mint. This Taurus will be a working tool. So I am not worried if it gets scratched or isn't the sexiest-looking gun around lol. I went with the 4" I prefer the 2 1/2"- 3" Barrel length. I don't care for the 6" at all. As for velocity? 125gr Underwood BJHP will have quite a bit out of the 4" and my main use for this 357 is personal protection. Which is one of the reasons I didn't get the 6". I am very impressed with Taurus Revolvers and their guns in General. They've come a long way since 1987. so far, I have put 50 rounds of 158gr 357 magnum through it. and 50 rounds of 130gr PPU 38 FMJ through it. I did shoot a few rounds of some HOT 38+p. and it was a breeze. this gun was very easily controlled with both Magnum& +p 38 rounds. staying on target was easy as well. the trigger pull was nice and smooth out of the box. it was $380 new which is damn good for a revolver that is as durable and accurate as a 686 or GP-100 I traded straight across, and I am glad to have this Taurus 66. there's a newer Taurus 605 stainless 3" with the black cylinder and a tru-glo front night sight I am looking at. Only $400.it's a 5 shot. in closing, I will say that this #66 Taurus is a Fantastic 357 Magnum that handles very well.
