Stop repeating yourself
I have a knife from Harbor Freight just to keep in my office, but half the blade is serrated, and I hate that. Picked up this Ozark Trail knife for $2.50 on clearance and I am quite happy with it. Your review is spot on. My EDC is a $3 flea market find that works just fine because I tend to regularly lose my pocket knives.
hornady round is super nasty
I've got the double stack, 5", no rail and cc it with 4 spare mags and 1 in the firearm. I know, overkill. but with the holster, which rhymes with vanish, distributing weight so well it works. I'm in Florida, wear shorts all the time, an outside the waistband dark shirt with a design and sandles, I just look like some average Florida dude. Love the pistol, only thing I don't like about the holster is the 1" of the front of the firearm that hangs out of the holster chafs my fragile leg skin, funny, the front edge of the pistol is the only slightly sharp edges, not bad but you just have to adjust the holster for the sweet spot. Would buy another one in a heartbeat.
Coleção mais linda meu amigo 😮😎
Speed opening is the coup de Savoyard.
Great straight forward directions. Thanks!
Great little trick for sharpening in a pinch
For the original Ti lite run, the aluminum handle model had the double holes milled out and the zytel handle had single milled holes, like the hold out and counter point (but with the allumunin liners) in the new runs both the zytel and aluminum have the double holes milled.
CH imo is the best configuration
Looks just like my Stoeger/Uberti .44-40 same brass backstrap and trigger guard,color-cased frame & trigger and 5.5"blued barrel which is my preferred bbl length(Artillery model design). I don't think they are necessarily a bad defense choice either. That type of gun will invariably prompt you to focus on making more deliberate and calculated responses in any situation. Everything has an advantage and a disadvantage. Was a time when a lot of western people wouldn't carry anything else. I would not feel undergunned with my singles anymore than with my swing-out cylinder dbl-actions. And a side arm is just to hold you till you get to your long-arm!
Nothing I have is fidgitier.
Just ordered my counterpoint xl hell yeah cold steel fxn rules
What knife is that even?
It's a pre-2011 Cold Steel Voyager.
It's called lockstick normally because two different hardnesses of steel one's gummier than the other so it forces it to manipulate. But you're right, given time it should kind of wear itself in
● "CABELAS" in South Carolina Charged Me $680.00 for Mine(Expensive), Compared to Your Price..DANG IT !!!....But I Still Love My..."GLOXX☆ROXX" N' ROLL.🤙💥🤙
Are the thumbstuds on the Range Boss uneven? I mean is the left side shorter than the right? Can it be unscrewed and swapped?
Correct, the Range Boss's thumb-studs, like many Cold Steels, are uneven/lopsided and can be swapped around.
@@MannixKnives Thanks! As a lefty, I appreciate the help!
Thanks for the review, been having my sights on this gun & honestly I’m probably going to be carrying condition 3 especially in my area where it’s pretty safe.
There’s a huge advantage imo. After all, we’re carrying knives - not handles. I think it’s a beautiful design.
Good review👌
This is THEE video I needed!!!! Thank you
Bro do espadas get scratchy on bosters??
Yes, the S35VN Espadas scratch pretty easily as they have high polished finishes on the bolster, blade, liners and clip.
I picked up a Kudu for $7 and I still feel kind of ripped off. The lock is the stiffest and most difficult to operate of any folding knife I've had.
It’s disappointing the Range Boss doesn’t come in AUS-8 or AUS-10 for the price
Any round will do! Bad guy hears a thunderous boom or 5 & realizes he is the target ... 🏃➡️🏃➡️🏃➡️🏃➡️
What are your thoughts comparing the Glock 19 to the Glock 26 for those who live in a 10 round state?
I have to buy me another stoeger coach 12 gauge, just love the look of it.
I thought I had or at least knew about all the xl folders out there. This one is brand new to me. No I'm going to have to track one down. Why do I feel like that will take a long time...

How are you guys sharpening the s35vn?
Any update on the extracting issues? Just picked one up used for 160 including shipping. Worried it has issues since the price was so cheap but thought I would go out on a limb and try it.
A few months ago I finally got a new charging lever from Hatsan after sending another email. I've had about 30 rounds of birdshot through it since and so far, no issues.
Are you certain this is a hollow grind? It's my understanding the initial production of the Espadas were hollow, but now they have a flat saber grind. I just purchased one, it will be delivered the day after tomorrow, and it is my hope it is not a hollow grind. Although, if it is, with s35vn steel it should be perfectly fine and not brittle. Maybe it's a trick of the eye, but as the light reflects on that sabre grind portion, I don't see any distortion on straight lines. All good either way, but what is the scoop? Also, I think I heard a comment in there about the s35vn making it more brittle, but I have many knives with that steel. I put them to embarrassingly aggressive use and they are not chippy or brittle at all. Indeed, Crucible specifically developed s35vn to reduce the occasional chippiness found with s30v. I'm confident they succeeded in that. But I'm also an open-minded person. Am I wrong in this belief? Is your experience different? It might be fun to do a test where you compare an s30vn steel with an s35vn steel, in a hard test, if possible? Nice video. Gorgeous knife. Cheers [[UPDATE: My large Espada, SV35, judt arrived, and it definitely has a flat saber grind, and not a hollow grind. If yours is not also flat I can only presume you have an early model. The eye fools you a little bit, and you have to literally put a straight edge against it and confirm there is in fact no Gap whatsoever. Cheers]]
The 43 is snappy as hell. Just get the 43x. Love the 43 though. Carrying the 42. Always carry with a round chambered for me. Stay safe
I have a USA gerber Applegate fairbairn folder in 154cm at the time in the early 2000s was a very good knife, it has been at 100% lockup for 12 years now, this was a military issue knife, I imagine the tight tolerances it has has allowed it to be at 100% with no lock rock
The Hornady is no joke and is actually accurate. Even out of my tiny bond arms. Imho the winchester is so unpredictable I found it not only inaccurate, but arguably dangerous. Back before it was impossible to find I saw numerous gel tests with the federal handgun triple ought buck which produced the most devastating results.
Cool.

I personally find the 42 bit more accurate and easier to shot than the 43 but the 42 is very picky about what brand amo it will function with , 8:27 seams my 43 function with any thing i load in magazine
why would anyone use this when its the same price as a srk?
As a folding lock blade knife, it's hard to beat for a kit knife/survival knife. It's lock is so strong you can also strap it to a stick for use as a spear. A somewhat softer (the same as many decent grade kitchen knives) but very rust resistant steel is actually a benefit as it makes the knife easy to sharpen on basically any rock found in the wild.
I traded one of my guns the other day for the Model 66 357 Magnum. I chose the blue or black finish. I have my safe Queen Revolvers that are Mint. This Taurus will be a working tool. So I am not worried if it gets scratched or isn't the sexiest-looking gun around lol. I went with the 4" I prefer the 2 1/2"- 3" Barrel length. I don't care for the 6" at all. As for velocity? 125gr Underwood BJHP will have quite a bit out of the 4" and my main use for this 357 is personal protection. Which is one of the reasons I didn't get the 6". I am very impressed with Taurus Revolvers and their guns in General. They've come a long way since 1987. so far, I have put 50 rounds of 158gr 357 magnum through it. and 50 rounds of 130gr PPU 38 FMJ through it. I did shoot a few rounds of some HOT 38+p. and it was a breeze. this gun was very easily controlled with both Magnum& +p 38 rounds. staying on target was easy as well. the trigger pull was nice and smooth out of the box. it was $380 new which is damn good for a revolver that is as durable and accurate as a 686 or GP-100 I traded straight across, and I am glad to have this Taurus 66. there's a newer Taurus 605 stainless 3" with the black cylinder and a tru-glo front night sight I am looking at. Only $400.it's a 5 shot. in closing, I will say that this #66 Taurus is a Fantastic 357 Magnum that handles very well.
$380? New? Used? I just purchased one the other day and thought $450 was a good price.
@@NWeagle888 $380 NIB
@@NWeagle888 where are you located? I have been going to the same shop for many years. I always find good deals. I found a Beretta 92X full-size used for $550 out the door. This gun had never been fired. absolutely no wear on the barrel. I thought it might be a 22LR at first lol due to the price. I already have the 92X compact. but I jumped all over this one.
@@johnjvoorhis8087 I’m in Oregon, no sales tax. Local shop. Which was still cheaper than online places. Especially if you count S&H and transfer fees.
I wonder why not more revolvers have hammers like this. Practically speaking people will use double action only for defense anyway.
Why they haven’t reused such a beautiful design is beyond me. Its fascinating.
needs longer barrel with choke.
New cold steels are uninspiring
I was unfamiliar with the Atlas Lock and your thorough and well presented video addressed that deficit. Thank you for taking the time to render this excellent review of the Atlas Lock. Well done!👏
