Thank you for spreading the word about MHT. I’m on ET, which we now know is not a risk for breast CA, and read it actually decreases it in the book “Estrogen Matters” by Bluming and Tavris. 🥳
Thank you for sharing about you, PJ! You are always so focused on helping us & I appreciate you so much. From one of your Patreon peeps in Oregon 🌲🇺🇸✨🫶🏽✨ P.S. funny outtakes 😆🤣
I went thru menopause years ago. I found a doctor who specialized in natural HRT cremes. He evaluated me and created a crème that was mixed at a pharmacy specifically for me. This was before doctors were prescribing meds for this - I think my doctor put me on birth control pills for awhile but they made me sick and I couldn’t take them. Thus I looked for another doctor. The cremes were great and certainly helped me thru the menopausal stage! I am so happy that doctors are now prescribing meds that help. There are risks so do talk to your doctor about that. Thx for sharing this info. It’s so important to help with this stage of life.
Thankyou for all your advice & support PJ. I have been doing your workouts for a while now and have noticed the benefits. Really enjoying them too. Happy holidays. Keep up your great work. X
Thank you for addressing this. I’ve been wondering what to do, as my sleep is getting worse and worse, my belly fat has probably doubled this past year while still eating healthy and working out regularly, and I am very tired and irritated most of the day! Not fun! 😂 I should go to the doctor but I absolutely hate going. Honestly, I don’t want to know what’s wrong with me! 😬
Same. I got my hrt prescribed online. I'm in Australia and used a service called Juniper. You pay a small fee for the consult (which is refunded if the doctor can't help you). The consult is online via questionnaires and text. Very easy. I'm happy with my patches. Good luck. ❤️
Cut the added sugar, carbs, and eat more quality protein, veg and some exercise. Research Keto diets, intermittent fasting. I’m at a point where I don’t need to lose more weight. Be well!
MHT totally ruined me, causing severe varicose veins. The only one benefit for taking MHT was sleeping better, not worth the suffering of painful veins. I’m currently waiting to see a surgeon.
Also, #1 you’re great. #2 I have fibromyalgia and when I do heavy upper body workouts like planks, lift heavy weights, excessively exert myself or exercise for more than 40-50 minutes that contributes to my flare ups the most. Plus I tend to do better with no repeat sessions. Any comments, advice, etc?
I’m 58 , been on HRT since 45. I’m on 2 mg estradiol and 200 progesterone but gaining a lot of belly fat the last few mths. Thinking about getting off totally😂 any suggestions?

I’ve been on HRT for 10 years, age 73 now. I take 2 estrogens and progesterone. Very happy with my results. Also I exercise and lift heavy weights.

Hi Pamela. I was feeling like you once and was able to meet with a Hormone Specialist. It helped me tremendously. Good luck.
I agree, with the advice of the other girls. Go see your doctor or specialist XO

MHT doesn’t cause varicose veins.
@@tofugirl8299who do you think you are to tell me that? You do not live with my body?
Sorry to hear that - I hope you get some good results x
@@FitnesswithPJ thank you. That is my hope.
Those risks are with oral not transdermal.

That's a great question! I recommend you submit it for an Ask PJ Anything. Link is in the description.

This is my experience Kim. Best to get personalised advice from your health professional 💕
Doesn't MHT reduce all those health risks you listed now?
It does. And every woman should see a hormone specialist to see if they are a good candidate for MHT. It changed my life.
I'm 21 and even I can't brush my teeth while standing on one leg... 😅
New goals? 😃
@@FitnesswithPJ lol yeahhh 😅 Definitely
I just feel miserable at the age of 53.
Hold on. Can we talk about what the context was around the blue sparkly bikini & high heels?
We captioned it, maybe you missed. But if you scroll through you'll see the context.
Love my HRT… would be lost without it 😍. Great topic and discussion. And yup… burpees suuuuuck! 🦘👍
You have to find what works for YOU, right? 😃
