    I am playing catch with the 21 day challenge, boy did I need this. I did a 20 minute ab exercise before the stretch. I feel so relaxed right now!!!!

    Absolutely wonderful stretches! Some of them were very similar to the ones I do daily for degenerative disk disease. This felt very good!!

    Ooooo wow this was sooooo needed after yesterday lol
    But having said that I woke this morning thinking I would be stiff and sore but I wasn't but there is nothing like an active recovery day
    I love active recovery days because after a workout week like this I feel I'm well deserve it ......if that makes sense.
    PJ you are a true LEGEND keeping us a fit healthy and flexible and mobile

    Day 10. Double Digits!! My neck and shoulders felt tight until I did the stretches. Quick and effective, and yet, so relaxing. 😴 I’ll return to Day 10 often! My whole body thanks you. ❤️ 🙏

    Perfect for this morning, I’m stiff after yesterdays workout, and I only had about 15 minutes because I have a busy busy day. I was able to do this in my tiny sunroom while everyone else is asleep, and not get up too much earlier than normal. Thanks and great timing!

    Should I warm up with some sort of activity before doing these stretches? I know you talked about active vs. static stretches and we should be warmed up for static stretches.

      I'm a day behind everyone so did a Google search on warming up. I can't post the link but it said to rotate each joint from fingers to toes then 5 min activity to increase body temperature

      I do yin yoga and it is done on a cold body because it focuses on stretching ligaments, tendons and the fascia that is attached to muscles. There is no stretching of the muscles, in fact they are completely relaxed and gravity does the work to increase flexibility. I do them after when I'm not working out, or if my workout is going to be hours away. I also do them after a workout as it poses no danger either. Hope that helps.
