Just got my canon m50 Mark 2. I can’t express enough how amazing this guy is and how simply he explains the process. There’s a lot to photography but it’s really not as bad when you get started and you have channels like this guys to help along the way.
Love my M50 and it took the place of my G16 in the vehicle. Uh my Big Canon T3i with it's 4 different lens sits in my room unused in the last years. I do a lot of shots on the move so even after a year of playing with it and 100's of pictures I still learn from videos such as yours, Thanks for the time and effort you put into them. My on camera lens is the 18-150 though I have two kit lens also , the 15-45 and 55-200. Going to try the 15-45 for a few runs as I seldom go over 50. Again thanks for the info.

I recently bought a Tamron 18-400mm and Viltrox ef-fx1 adapter for my M50. It’s a great lens. Because of the cropped sensor, I can get up to 650mm. Can’t wait to take it on my travels.
I didn't use the eye detection until now. Thanks for talking about it. My Sigma 56mm will arrive today, and I will most definately be needing that feature. Pls keep on making M50 videos. I already learned so much about the M50. I have been using this camera as my first "real" camera and people have complimented my photos a lot. Thanks for that!

I have been a photographer for years and have used basically every camera across brands. The m50 is by far the hardest to get a sharp picture with. I understand noise at high ISOs, but most of pictures seem as if they were shot too slow regardless of the shutter. I am using a speedbooster that I got on ebay and that's the only thing I can think of. I have no native EF-M lenses, but at a loss here. The only pictures that are decent, are shots with my 24-105 L. Thank you for explaining when to use the different focus modes. Wish someone had made this video when i first got the camera. I used it for both video and stills. All i could find were videos on using it as a video camera.
Great video. I like most of it, but could you make a video on how to best use the M50 in manual mode? I find it has minimal buttons to adjust the settings making manual mode difficult to use. That said, I am a relatively new user. Thanks
The one firmware change this camera _requires_ is a way to disable touch shutter. 7:44 I never use this feature. I find more often than not that it has activated because it toggled itself on accidentally and I got a slew of walking sidewalk or walking asphalt shots because my finger accidentally touched the screen after it toggled on.
