    Installed it today. tip: stick 1/4 length of a toothpick through the hole in the rubber ring to secure it on top of the pcb standoffs, and then thread the pcb down so the toothpicks goes through the 4 pcb holes. Pull out 1 and one toothpick as you secure the screws. Made it really easy.
    Soundwise, there is no doubt this makes the Eversolo sound even (slightly) better. More open, more fullbodied.

    Just installed it, the most difficult part was not knocking the white insulator rings off the pcb standoffs. Very high quality product and packaging! Sound is definitely improved, this is the final touch my eversolo needed to stand among the higher end dacs!

    Hi Alvin, I received my LPS yesterday , thanks for getting my Order out to me so quickly. It sure makes a noticeable high quality difference in my Master Edition. To me, I hear a higher degree of richness, and finer detail in my Cornwalls. Your Install Instructions are spot on, and straight forward. In 55 years of purchasing stereo I can honestly say, I have never paid so little and got so much. Your LPS is differently wroth price. Thanks so much.

    Super easy installation thank you! I was a bit skeptical going in that it would make a difference in sound quality, but I’ll be darned. Gave everything a bit more punch and clarity. I felt like my setup was missing just a bit of punch so it was a perfect change.

    Easy install. I appreciate the tips in the video. I placed some heavy books behind the top cover after removing the top to keep it steady. The LPS is working well. It smoothed out the treble on my Eversolo standard.

    Just found out about this. I am seriously considering getting this for my Master Edition unit, despite what a couple of naysayers are saying on here. Installation looks easy enough (no worse than swapping components in a PC as I've built my fair share over the years). Do like that one tip about using toothpicks to hold the standoff rings. Another tip is to place a towel down and then lay the front of the cover on that to protect the display, as well as prop up the cover using a large book, soup can or other large, sturdy object to keep it from tipping. As for if this power supply upgrade makes a difference, I've seen several videos and numerous comments and reviews that all agree that this DOES make a difference in the sound quality. I've yet to hear this upgrade myself, but based on everything I am seeing and reading, I may go ahead and try it out anyway.

    I received my LPS-A6 and successfuly installed. Definitely be careful with the front cover falling off (mine did) ;). One of the connector wire got pulled out but fortunately I was able to put it back in. DMP-A6 is now turned on and I have it playing music while working from home ;) ... so far no heat issues, not even warm to touch. Can't comment ( yet) on sound improvements though.
    Update:
    After playing for over an hour, the unit is now warm but not too much. It is comparable to my other components (like my HDMI matrix). However, I don't have an internal SSD installed and no external USB drive. I have it connected using USB to external Denafrips Ares 12th DAC. Also, I'm using wired ethernet connection.

    I just ordered, from you, the LPS-A8 for the Eversolo DMP-A8. What kind of improvement should I hear? and how much warmer will the unit run? I do have a Samsung 990 PRO SSD 4TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 internal solid state hard drive installed - should I consider adding a heat sink to the SSD?

    why should you connect an external SSD? Eversolo offers the option of installing an internal SSD. How does the internal SSD sound compared to an external SSD? Is there a good reason not to use the internal SSD or MC storage? There are already gold or silver fuses for Denafrips, do you have experience with them?

    • @SkiBumMSP
      @SkiBumMSP 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most likely it is simply a matter of convenience. More than likely somebody may have an external SSD or harddrive laying around they could simply use instead of having to go out and buy and then install an internal SSD. Also simply to hook up an external SSD/HD to a PC/Mac, copy the music files over and then hook it up to the Eversolo and be able to play. Also a convenient way for a friend to bring some music over to listen on your system and vice versa. Also, I think the built-in storage is only something like 32 gigs and would just rather leave it for the OS and apps and not fill it up with music files. With that being said, I do have a 4 TB SSD installed in my unit.

    Since it is suggested that you use a powered ssd drive, if you will be using two, would this apply to cd rom drive? So you would have one ssd with a non powered cd rom drive. Will this tax the power supply??

    • @NosTubes58
      @NosTubes58 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wondering why would one need to use an external SSD?, when I’ve placed a 2TB NvME SSD 2 type internally, which seems much much faster than the SATA based designs.

    • @VinshineAudio
      @VinshineAudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      It will. If you use both of the USB ports for heavy loads like the SSD/HDD/CD drives, it's recommended to use external USB power.

    Just installed my LPS & it has improved the already fantastic A6 master edition sound but I do wonder how good the new A8 will be & whether I should have saved my pennies, that’s not to detract from the excellent build quality of the LPS from beatechnik

    Just so you know - The noise floor of the DMP-A6 is around -160 dB. Assuming you listen to music through other components with that low of a noise floor (unlikely) and you do so in an anechoic chamber, the LPS-A6 is for you.
