I have a ME version. Use a LAN cable connect to your router instead of WiFi ( packets of info can be lost thru WiFi ) , secondly use a Ifi lan silencer to clean the noise from the router. Both are clear improvements

I just added a Linear Power Supply by LHY, it’s abt US150 with silver connects on Taobao. It’s pretty straightforward with tools and instructions video. It’s def an improvement, lower noise, better detail , channel separation etc.

@ No just as streamer , using an Ifi LAN Silencer connected directly to my 6G Huawei router. Then connected via USB ( Audioquest Carbon ) to my Denafrips Iris DDC then via I2S ( Jays Audio ) to my Pontus 2 R2R DAC. Overall results are quite amazing. Ofc there is always room for upgrades. For the meantime , it’s fine.

Nicely done! You are the only reviewer that I have run across to talk about some of these features. I asked Eversolo to add the atmos streaming feature in Aug 2023. The response from them was that they had no plans to add it. Hopefully, their plans will change.

For Atmos the chip in charge of decoding has to be compliant. Also, there's a matter of licensing. You have to pay Dolby to implement Atmos. So, most likely they won't put it.

Phenomenal product and I would have bought it, if it had the possibility to play Atmos from Amazon Music etc. . And of course it should be able to output video to a TV in order to see the UI there and maybe also to play music videos from Tidal/Spotify. I wouldn´t need a DAC. Hopefully there will be a device from Eversolo, like maybe a DMP-A7 that can do all this,

I have an external SSD with more than 1000 ripped in Laptop Apple Music in WAV format. Trying to listen to them in Ever Solo DMP A6. Nut as I attach SSD, it asks for formatting the SSD. How could I avoid formatting ? Once I format I will lose everything. Any solution how to do.

Hi, i have a Question regarding the A6 combined with a external DAC: You would also need a external Pre-Amp after the External DAC, right? You can not use the Eversolo Volume adjustment and use just a Power-Amplifier who has no Volume Knob, when using a external DAC with a TA1540 Chip for example. So when using a External DAC i would have to buy a Preamp as well?

I have my Eversolo connected to a Gishelli Labs (J2S) external dac, and straight into an amplifier via XLR. I also have the Eversolo remote as well. And I have 2 sets of front tower speakers. I initially had my Solo connected to Marantz 6014 via L/R rca in Pure Direct mode, b/c there's no XLR. I wanted to use XLR from Gishelli to amp, so I connected it the way I initially stated, and there's no issue.
To make myself clear... yes, you can use your Eversolo, essentially, as a preamp into your DAC with no component between your DAC and amp.

Good video, for ripping I ran into an issue of ripping Enhanced CDs. Eversolo didn't recognize the CD. I tried with two different optical drives and have had limited success. When ripping select the Pencil icon next to the Album name and you can add the Artist name which will guarantee the eversolo will populate the " Artist " section of your music library.

Why didn't you just Map your Eversolo HDD to your PC, (Map Network Drive) Then you can drag and drop whole Folders onto to HDD ,I'm using windows 10 with no problem but one, Eversolo needs to be "ON" to transfer, not in standby, As I'm Used to using A Nvidia Sheild Which transfers in standby .
Artwork Is very hard work As I found I need To Add "AlbumArt" to every folder and not rely on Embeded Artwork. Everysolo Displays Horrible coloured icons, But Im working through all my folders Adding correct artwork ,
