I went to cable park once about 2 years ago, was able to do a lap on the kneeboard, but with wakeboard I did about 30 tries and the longest I went was 5 meters. I felt like I was trying to do everything like in this video, but arms just weren’t strong enough. Even years of snowboarding didn’t help 🤷♀️ Will go again this summer and hopefully would be able to do it.
I really struggle with the speed of it. So i should start off with my hands and cable by hip, let my arms absorb the intial pull of cable and then allow them to fully extend?
I generally reccomend people watch the rope from the carrier. There is a shock wave that runs down the rope to your hands which lets you know excatly when the pull will hit. Works for all starts, but especially useful for jump starts
I went to the cable today just got made fun of and fell on my face for a hour and half only pointers i got from anyone were just “keep it tight” this video definitely helped thank you so much man
Sitting start is so much easier than sliding... tried 3 times sliding, failed, first time sitting, success... since then I strongly recommend trying the sitting start :D
Going next Sunday wish me luck guys been going for three sundays each week and I keep falling cause my brain makes my knees unbend let’s hope and see what happens
Really good for the first timer. Jump start/ standing start next please.
Great tips, it's been a while since I did a sitting start. (I hate doing those)
Hahaha
I never sat in the back. Always thought to sit as much in the front as possible. I will try it out next time. Thx
