TRICK PROGRESSION GUIDE - Beginner to Advanced - Cable Wakeboarding
This is only a general guide, what I personally recommend, you don’t have to do it exactly like that but it might be a helpful orientation!
General tips:
Don’t skip basics!
Riding Switch!
Spin both ways
Landing blind right and left handed
Flats / Surface
Ollies
Surface frontside and backside 180
360 frontside and backside
Landing blind
Ollie 180, 360
Features
Start riding onto features
Spinning on features
Ollie onto features
Pressing on features
Spinning off features
Trying to make tricks more legit (don’t zeach)
All different slides
Front Board, Front Lip, Frontside 50/50
Backside Boardslide, Back Lip
Kickers
Straight airs
First grabs (indy & tail)
Fs 180 (add a nose grab)
First Flip or 360
Easy and basic flips:
Tantrum (heelside backflip)
Toeside Backroll
Toeside Frontroll
Heelside Backroll (Mexican Roll)
Landing those tricks to revert - Scarecrow
Spins:
Fs & Bs 360
Landing to blind
Adding grabs onto those tricks
Landing all spins heelside, Toeside, Frontside, Backside, Switch and Regular 8 spins each

Very informative video , will be trying 360s on the flatbox at the weekend and riding blind , I always try something new every time, just struggling on the nose press starts , can seem to bring the back foot down and end up face planting 😂. Good luck at whitemills 🤙🤙

I accidentally landed a 540 on a flat box “dance floor”!!! Over rotated on the 360 so now working on perfecting the 540!!!! (Only on the flat box and incline) and just learned to land blind! Again, only off an incline and flat box.

Thanks, Julia, for the information! Please create another video with a list of let's say 20 basic/mid level tricks. Just name a trick, then show a demo. Asking because Pro riders are easily mention trick names (tantrum, KGB, Mobydick etc), but I did not find a list of most popular tricks here on TH-cam, only separate videos such as "How to do a Tantrum" and author spend 10 mins to explain how to do it. It would be great to have a list of 20 most popular tricks, just spend 30 seconds on each trick - show and short explanation. Thanks!

Don’t overthink!! Go step by step and don’t think on crashing! Go through the movements off the water. On the water, just go for it🤟
