Just picked up my 2023 SR, after 5 months waiting time. For what I need a truck to do, I couldn’t justify the cost differential for the TRD. Great truck. I am glad that it has the 3.5 litre, normally aspirated fuel injected engine with a traditional 6 speed automatic transmission. It’s hard to argue against “tried, tested and true technology”. It’s been my experience that every time an auto manufacturer makes multiple radical changes to a successful design, it takes a few years to iron the bugs out of it. Maybe I’m just a grumpy old man, but I am stuck in my ways.
Congratulations. Just picked up my Blue Crush ACLB, added AluCab Contour Canopy w/rails. Absolutely love this truck. It does everything I need it to do. Helps run the construction business reliably.
We LOVE our 23 TRD Off Road with the Premium pkg and a 6’ bed. Ours is White but we’ve had it 2 toned in Barcelona Red. We’ve removed the Black leather and replaced it with TRD RED Leather with black trim and stitching from Katzkin. We also added a K&N cold air intake and a Flowmaster Flow FX dual exhaust. Next is the Overland Tailor Tune to stop the transmission from “hunting” for gears because 100% of the torque starts at just 2K RPM.
I also bought same OR truck in April. Just wish it was getting more then 15to15.7 mpg. The 6 speed auto transmission simply hunts oo much for gears living in northeast Tennessee driving on highways with too many hills.
I live in the NW and I have a 2023OR and the only time I noticed the gear hunt is when the truck itself is cold and it only last for about the first two or 3 miles. After that once I get into the mountains in rolling Hills mine is perfect. I was worried because everyone talked about the gear hunting, but I haven’t noticed anything that scares me. Another note people say it feel sluggish. I think I might’ve little bit noticed that at first but either you get used to it or when you drive newer semi trucks. They are also drive by wire with sluggishness built-in so I might be just used to it.
90% of all TRD OFF ROAD buyers trucks will never be on anything other than pavement. I bought a 2022 because I actually felt the off road drove smoother than the Sport. I'm happy to have one of the last V6s to ever be in a midsized truck.
Just got my Offroad Access Cab with a six speed manual and a six foot bed. You get the revs up past 3k in any gear and she pulls. I traded my 17 Ram in for it so I can tell you she's no slouch.
am thinking of getting the pro or trd off road. Not sure yet. Am concerned about the seating and comfort. I would like to be able to sit higher and get bigger tires and lift.
Yeah it drives me crazy as you my hear on my reviews I alway use it. It’s not a features 😂 but for some reason they (the drivers around here) think they don’t have it or it’s an upgrade 👍
I would assume that you are in Canada. I just bought a Trd 2023 off-road long bed premium package. From all the TH-cam videos that I have seen prior to purchasing my own Toyota, they did say that Canada is not able to get the 6 foot bed.
I have no idea how you managed to climb in without your knee going directly into the steering wheel. At its highest setting I still have to contort my leg to get it under the steering wheel while climbing in
February 2024 i picked up a 2023 tacoma limited white
Very smooth ride with 900 miles
Congratulations they are nice
I appreciate how quick and to the point your reviews are
Thank you 👍

Looks like no one uses their blinkers where your from too, ( saw at least two people cut in front of you without using them )

I wonder how much they are going for now. I heard the market is slowing down so maybe its a good time for buyers to
For these models it’s not bad but I don’t see them staying on the lot very long.
Bought my TRD OR for $3000 under MSRP so far here’s good deals out there still get yours before they’re gone for good.

I always lower the seat and put it back more if that helps

The full sticker is in the first 5-10 seconds of the video
@@HawkeyeRides where can i buy it?thanks
@@thangpham-to5xt I have the dealership information on the video and in the description 👍
lol he needs to edit that mpg rating because in reality it 14-16 mpg! I’ve never gotten over 17 and highway is worse than backroads.
It’s on the MSRP sticker but it will depend on how heavy a persons foot is 👍
Is it still available?
This one sold but you can still find a few, the 2024 model is scheduled to hit the dealerships in October
Be a man and get a Frontier 3.8 L.
The Frontier is nice and it’s now the only truck for Nissan 👍
