Adil Sagadiyev Actually it does when we are talking about cars. See, car companies measure their success in terms of sales, meaning MONEY. This isn’t a spelling bee. If the Camry is the best selling sedan in the market and has been for many years, it’s not working to compete as it is beating the competition. Now, with that said, I agree that there is more that Toyota can give as far as options go. But they know that people associate Toyota with reliability and will buy their vehicles based on that alone. Why spend more on their standard line when they can charge you more for the options on upgrades?

My friend has an 18 SE and the gearbox is by far the worst part of the powertrain. The gears are excessively long and it’s a bit clunky. But it does shift decently quick.
Why... its a family car. Get a sports sedan if you want a lsd...
Feels good to be the 1000th like
They fix the 8 speed transmission jerking/ hunting gears problem yet?
@Atty. Johnny Sins Personal Finance me too. Thinking about getting a corolla xse and settling with the CVT or going with a 2.0T honda accord that has an auto transmission. My friend just picked up a 2020 SE camry. Hopefully his doesnt have that issue
@@nica711 I have a 20 XSE v6 and I don’t have any problems. With the 8 speed
@@naveenthemachine im pretty sure i heard the v6 as its a different engine and was known to have less of the issues. I think the V4 is where the problem really is
@@nica711 for comparison I had a 20 RAV4 XLE as a loaner and the 8 speed was smooth in that model
this is nice but both the new hyundai sonata and kia k5 beat this things in terms of feature and in my personal opinion styling, the sonata offers a hybrid that has a better fuel economy than the camry hybrid. Toyota gotta do something crazy if they want to compete
What are you talking about? Camry is the highest selling Sedan in the US. Perhaps you’re talking about outside of the US?
@@MsRose00 highest selling doesn’t always mean the best
Adil Sagadiyev Actually it does when we are talking about cars. See, car companies measure their success in terms of sales, meaning MONEY. This isn’t a spelling bee. If the Camry is the best selling sedan in the market and has been for many years, it’s not working to compete as it is beating the competition.
Now, with that said, I agree that there is more that Toyota can give as far as options go. But they know that people associate Toyota with reliability and will buy their vehicles based on that alone. Why spend more on their standard line when they can charge you more for the options on upgrades?
@@MsRose00 sadly camry knows its market along with corollas which explains the sales. There are many who are loyal to toyota when it comes to purchasing.
Alvin Simba I know I am. I have a 2013 Camry SE with over 80k miles on it. It’s been so good to me. Last year I bought a 2019 Lexus NX since my Camry was paid off. I stayed with that badge because I like not having problems. I don’t get why some people think that’s a bad thing. Toyota can give a little more for their standard models but neither my Camry or Lexus are standard models. I have many options on both. But I also have the reliability. I like the styling of a BMW, but I also have a cousin who has a 2016 BMW and she regularly has to take it in for one problem or another. She hasn’t even paid it off yet.
Toyota does offer red interior with XSE hybrid trim, you just need a different exterior color than red. Red on red doesn’t look too appealing.
They have a Red/Black Roof XSE Hybrid with red interior on the local dealership lot. I did NOT think I would like red on red, but with the black roof it is sharp!
They should make black rims standard in every trim
I got to drive the Camry as a rental a few months ago, I think it was a regular trim LE I believe and I was amazed by how fast it was... like really fast
These aren't your grandma's Camrys anymore.
Still the best family sedan in the segment
The only thing I hate about this refresh, is the new infotainment display. It was perfect where it was, molded into the dash. Now it looks half assed like all them germans.
Still no memory seats?
I'm flattered
The exhaust tips always gets me. Form what I understand, one of them does nothing and is there for visual only.
Scrolling through the comments looking for the differences for the 2021 Camry
Comment of the video “it doesn’t look frumpy or weird like the Prius” I respect what the Prius was but with a solid Corolla and Camry hybrid option is there really a reason to buy a standard Prius anymore?
Sofyan - whats your take on the Camry vs Accord Hybrid? Thanks!
Sofyan please do a refresh video of the 2021 Toyota Corolla hatchback
Whats the clicking noise when you're driving??
Does this mean Lexus ES hybrid will also get a power and interior upgrade coming up?
8:16 I hate the floating tablet style display. It completely ruins the design of the center console. It looks like an installed aftermarket device. Yuck!
You think that’s bad.
