Actually a civic sport has handing upgrades in the suspension and steering response also the wheels are am upgrade but for even better performance HPD accessories will help. And same thing with last gen civic it had leather steering wheel and shfter also a manual stick shift option now you can't but then it came with a Spoiler and splitter now you have to add it. Sport mode will always add power the Sport is the only to have i-VTEC. (The sport is faster than the base lx)
You can see where they skimped on the car, manual seat adjustment, hard plastic on the upper door panels, no rear map pockets, no rear USB or power outlet, no rear center arm rest, no engine temp gauge on the instrument panel. Come on Honda!!!!!!!
It's really interesting and funny that the new Civic is as big as the 7th gen Honda Accord although I think the 7th gen Honda might be a bit bigger in terms of length depending on the year of the car and by today's standards the 7th gen Honda is considered a compact car the last time I looked it up😅
@@BernonCars My apologies... I thought the video was about Hondas, not a fashion show for men that give a Rat's ass about their shoes matching their shorts! Good Lord... "Those cuticles are spot-on Girrrl... you be on top of your finger game!" 🤣
Good luck finding one. Dealer told me I could only order one and it might take a year. But the 2.0L naturally aspirated with 6MT hits the sweet spot for me. I just can’t pull the triggers on the CVT, and the 1.5T in the Si concerns me greatly.
@@BernonCars I have a 2017 accord sport SE mint cond. Do you think it would be a bad decision to trade it in for the civic si when it comes out? Right now my car is selling for more than what I paid for it two years ago. Not sure how long the used car market will stay this high though.
@@steveh8224 the new Si seems promising! I would probably do that switch. The interior of the Civic is already pretty roomy, and an Si would be more fun to drive!
You speak well and have potential, but if you can add more POV shots that would be even better. After all, people click on car videos to see the car, not the presenter. Also, you should lower the volume of your music too.
It looks perfect. Ain't nobody wants to be driving around in a car that looks like it came off the set of Tokyo Drift.
Exactly!
It looks like it can be easily converted into one of those cars which is why im eying it personally 🤷🏾♂️🤣
i had 2020 sport hatchback and i switched for the 2023 civic sport sedan and i like it

Am I having a stroke or is that last sentence hard to understand
This is probably the best review I’ve found on YT. Thanks for this!!
Wow thank you!!

Seems really bizarre, especially since the analog speedometer is right next to the digital readout of the same information.
@@samsmith3025yea what's the point of showing me two of the same thing
Great review Bernard. I'm glad to see a review of a Sport.
Thank you Ben!

LOL right
That dash is eerily reminiscent of 1940's and 50's dashes with that honeycomb grille! Funny how design just cycles through
Right! History repeats itself!
I love it!
Nice to see an honest review. Thanks!
Thank you!
The shorts/shoes game in this video is 10/10
Always the best outfits
Seriously...???
Yes, solid 5/10

LOL I would check out Nick’s channel - that will answer any confusion 😆
I like what you said about the coolant gauge, most people probably don’t even know what that is..lol
I see it all the time lmao
Bern romulus welcome back to the channel. I really enjoy your reviews and this review was amazing.
Thank you
I am considering the sport model but the engine power is lacking
What about the suspension if we compare with the last generation? Plus u feel any difference in comfort?
Love the new sedan, super psyched to see the new hatch with the manual trans and the K20!
Me too!!!

Loved this video! Sounds like a very decent car for most people. Will consider!
Thank you sir 😃. Sadly there’s no Volvo badge on it LOL
Correction: the 9" infotainment only comes with the Touring/Sport Touring models. I have an EXL hatchback and it still just has the 7" screen
Great review! 👍
Thank you!

Thank you! 😁
No problem
Very nice looking car.
Indeed!
Thank you for saying faux leather! But is the "cloth" real cloth or something like neoprene ?
Not sure actually!
I think the interior targets younger buyers
0:56 Could've used footage of my 7th Gen Accord 😂
Hahah
thanks for the civic lesson
My pleasure 😁
Actually the ones getting a manual is the hatchback the si and the type r

Thank you!
My 2015 CVT is like a backhoe…lol
LOL

Let's just say the back end is boring. Front end is a nice upgrade.
Microwave?
more hp more money...honda knows there price point buyer...
I just hate these new rear taillights ...
Doesn’t Honda call it championship white
That’s only on the Type R
Love it, From beautiful country, Việt Nam!
Thank you! 😃
