@@julianparker896 there's not a function or setting I know that you can change. I do know that people use a tool called Honda hack which essentially "jailbreaks" your head unit. This gives you the ability to add other apps and capabilities.

The button for changing the view of mileage can be rotated to adjust brightness

Thank you very much for this video. I just recently traded in my 2016 Honda Civic for a 2021 Civic EX-L. Everything is pretty much the same but just leather seats. FOR THE LONGEST TIME, I've been trying to change my wallpaper, even on my 2016 and I just gave up. I didn't even think to come to TH-cam. I was looking for some MOD ideas and I came across your tips and tricks video. I knew a few of them just from playing around, but now I know how to customize my dashboard and I really appreciate it. I've noticed on my 2021 I can play games through the Android Auto fuction. It's pretty cool. I don't know if it was an update but I wasn't able to do it on my 2016.

Hello! Honda Civic hatchback 2019 owner here...
Here’s a little known trick...
if you want to chill in your car at night or day.. and want to turn on the car for heater or a/c but don’t want the daylight lights to turn on.
Simply before starting your car... make sure your e brake is on and then after making sure it’s on turn your car on... the daylight running lights should remain off until you take the e brake off, that’s when they will turn back on.
he actually revealed that trick a while back on the accord

Window thing is mind-blowing
Do the reverse with the key fob to close the windows, so press the lock button the same as you did the unlock so you don’t have to take the key out
I knew about all of those tips already, but I liked how your video was very concise without any chit-chat. I'm subbing to your channel and hoping to watch more great videos 😀
Small note, though: To open the windows via the key fob and close them with the key, you don't need to press (or rotate) twice, then press and hold. Instead you can just press/rotate twice and hold (so instead of 3 clicks, you just need 2)

Lane Keep Assist - when it rains it make it harder for the camera to see the lines on the road.

I dont know if this is just the UK version but in my 1.5l sport it usually has 1 single cupholder in the center, turns out if you lift that up the piece will come out and you then have 2 cup holders
How do you make the colors red on the speedometer, temp, and fuel gauge?
A good one to mention is how to completely turn off traction control. Its a sequence between pressing the break and the traction button s couple times.

Will save your video to watch a section at the time, slowly.... By the way, some of the tricks you show are in the Honda manual, but many others are not (the pushing of 3 buttons, etc.). How did you figure those out?
Really appreciate this clip, bc i’m heading to the end of my lease, and i am still trying to figure out whether the 24 looks like a ford fusion, or something worse, that i’d never be caught dead, driving…. I was at my local Honda dealership shooting videos today and got to see the new blue Type-R. It is so dope! Unfortunately I do not know when the release of the 2022 will be. But even if you get a 21, that color looks sick!
