I was overwhelmed with so many feelings watching this! I didn't't say much... it's the kind of movie you can't help but sit and take in 🤍 On another note, I had to chop this one UP to not get blocked. I tried to keep all the best bits in :) Extended cut + Uncut reaction available on patreon.com/chrissiereacts
Impressively this movie lives up to it's title and sticks its landing, after navigating Evelyn's journey: You go from feeling the overwhelming chaos of it and at the end there is so much meaning, depth & beauty in her embracing it all and then the title clicks.
As a fan of Michelle Yeoh since I saw Supercop (Police Story 3) as a kid, it's very satisfying to watch everyone wake up to her talent. Beyond everyone realizing how amazing Michelle is, I love that this was Ke Huy Quan's return to cinema. He's such a sweet man, I just love him to bits. He left Hollywood because he was tired of being stereotyped and I'm so happy he's back and thriving.
@@markwang77 It's near the top of my Jackie list, but I enjoy the stunts in Who Am I and the humor in Operation Condor just a bit more 🤏 I agree that you don't need to see the first two, as I didn't get to see them until after Supercop, but they are still great early Jackie.
It really is a beautiful movie. I found it overwhelming when I watched it. I really need to watch it again and take it in properly, after seeing it in snippets in your reaction. I love how you get so moved by a good movie - your honest emotions bring out the same in your viewer! PS - small typo in the description above "Indian Jones" !! 🙂
I'm convinced she said Raccacoony because she saw it in the multiverse. Her mind was already expanding at that point and she was just getting stronger from then on.
That was one of the best reactions to this movie that I've ever seen, and that's a LOT! Especially at the end, when the movie was over. I'm glad you left it the way you did. It was perfect! I subscribed.
"No more google eyes!" I love the theme of the 'everything bagel' (a dark circle with hollow center) vs googley eyes (a white circle with a dark center). It's really great.
I love the way they blew the alpha hero trope out of the water. It wasn't Alpha Waymond who was the hero at the end. It was the Waymond who fought with kindness.
I'm a 38 year old aussie male "tough guy" lol and I laughed and cried just like you watching this too. Dont be embarrassed to cry it's a normal thing for any human on this earth😂😢😊
Once I heard, "watch this before I head into work", I thought, uh oh. I learned the hard way not to mess myself up before I had to go to work. I knew I definitely wasn't ready to be normal with other people when I was trying to digest this movie.
1:12 OMFG! I never noticed that! 42, the meaning of life, the universe and everything from "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" in the movie "Everything, Everywhere all at Once". That absolutely HAS to be a reference! Well done! 👍
A movie that is everything a movie should be. Batshit crazy and at the exact same time adoringly beautiful. EDIT: Yep cried again. Cried the first time I saw it. Have cried at every reactor I have watched react to this film.
That’s how I felt the first time I watched this. It’s overwhelming and funny and deep. Head and shoulders the best multiverse movie ever. Such a film lover’s film too because of all the film references and homages in it. If you’ve never seen ‘In the Mood for Love’, the scenes where they are speaking Chinese in the alley are inspired by it. Such a beautiful film.
*virtual hug*! People are closer to each other than we think in everyday life. Thank you for your reaction, and for your sensitivity - it may seem like a small thing, but for someone it is very important.
There are so many subtleties in this movie I did not catch until watching reaction videos. Cookie Kung Fu...what does Waymond do for Diedre? Makes her cookies. Also Dierdre calls her Mrs. Wang throughout...but in the last scene calls her Evelyn. Many others but those are two examples.
The girl at the end who hugs her mother is still the same evil girl, are at least has the same consciousness or whatever, that destroyed planets all over the multi-verse killing billions of people right? Did I get that wrong? I'm just not sure making peace with your mother makes up for that.
if you dug this mate, try the original Jacobs ladder with tim robbins, its upseting and beautiful at the same time, came out in early 90s , dont bother with the crappy remake. would love to see your reaction.
Did you suggest this before? Maybe it was someone else but my only issue with that one is I know the twist ending, so I'm worried it will ruin the experience :/
I'll go against the grain and say I thought this was just fine. It just felt like a Wacky Matrix, with more style over substance. Enjoyed the performances, but it went on for too long.

Your review pretty much said it all. It is a beautiful film.
Yeah this one took me about three days to get over,it was a cinematic masterpiece I thought.
'...just doing laundry and taxes with you.' Never. Gets. Old.
😭
Waymond was loyal to her in every universe? 😢😢😢

You know you have a special movie when rocks can convey emotions to those that watch the movie.

i think supercop might be my favorite jackie movie and it's great as a standalone movie too (it's not necessary to have seen police story 1 & 2)

Isn't it?? Oh my gosh I loved this movie. It evoked such powerful emotions! Definitely worth a rewatch.
Oh, thanks for the typo heads up!!

I think so too!
The part that ALWAYS gets me is when Evelyn hugs Waymond while he's cleaning up and he just breaks down.

Omg. I didn't even catch that!!

It has to be, right?! Thanks!!
I cry every time I watch this movie. I cried at the end of your reaction...in my office...at work.
It's such a roller coaster of a movie.
💯

It's so moving! I cried editing lol
Saw this at the movies when it came out - Knew nothing about it going into it. Ended iup being one of my favourite movies of all time!

This is a beautiful movie and it totally blew my mind the first time I saw it earlier this year. I could see that you experienced a similar reaction.
Perfect epilogue
This movie is extremely deep and impressive 😍 I felt the impact and the characters are not shallow
I don't think anyone would think you've just woken up. Especially when you look that good.
Awww! ☺️
I love this movie❤
As silly as it is, it hits so many serious tones and is so heartfelt. It deserves EVERY award given to it❤
💯
Beyond the acting and editing, I don't think sound design has ever stuck out to me more than in this movie. It was so evocative!
Oh this looks good. Sorry Chrissie, Need to stop until I watch it. Promise I will come back. Lol. Upvoted. Bbs.
Oh so glad you're going to watch this!! It's so powerful and moving and the editing is beyond amazing. I hope you report back! 😃
Can't believe you watched this before going to work that must have been an interesting day in the office.😅
FROM THE TOP ROPE!
My favorite movie ever. By far
So curious as to what you do for work. 😂
Good morning ma'am. I hope you're well!
Good morning! 😀
This film is *wonderful*. Quiet is appropriate.
Absolutely stunning film.
Ah my favourite neurodivergent simulator/generational trauma film
Movie i recommend to you awakenings with robin williams and robert de niro
Its a great movie.
Succession season 2 reaction when?
Only on patreon for now. I'll eventually post them here, likely over the winter :)

🌭😂
Hmmm, I still reckon it would hold up.
The twist is pretty easily picked up on in the first 30 minutes@@chrissiereacts
You need to watch Nicholas Cage Rosamund Pike movie Hostages prepare to be upset
Ah sweetheart...And you thought Aussies were cruel to dogs.
I'm not a fan of "multi-verse" movies, so I'm just here for your algorithm. Lol
Lol and I appreciate that 😄
i love you
Beautiful movie but i think i will not watch it again.
Why not
@@haneby1114 Too crazy i had a headhache watching it
So much going on, I watched it 3 times to fully pick up everything
If there is a thing this movie is not, is beautiful.
Such a devastatingly beautiful movie.

Oh man, I really, really enjoyed this. But I totally get when that happens. It was my experience with Interstellar.
