How have I never heard of this movie?! Thank you to everyone who recommended such a hidden gem. Also the way Christopher Walken says "cravat" at 16:22 is my new favourite thing 😅 Full reactions at Patreon.com/chrissiereacts
This is, in my opinion what an actual underrated movie looks like. It's really good quality, good writing all around with a great cast that didn't blow up on the spot. But once people sit down and actually watch it they love it, same with in Bruges. I don't feel like the writer/director really got on the spot until he did 3 billboards outside ebbing, and even there the fame and talk died down within the year.
Great movie {i have it on d.v.d}. Cool reaction, as usual. Can somebody please suggest the movie, London Boulevard to Chrissie. Starring Colin Farrel, Ray Winstone and Keira Knightley. It's another hidden gem, like 7 Psychopaths, Sexy Beast, Layer Cake, etc.
Chrissie I think I saw someone comment that you are the reactor that reacts to movies most people won't touch. I am another grateful subscriber, who appreciates your willingness to step out the algorithm. There is a world of cinema outside of Marvel and LoTR. This movie holds a special place in my heart, because I saw it at a time when I was very happy. Thanks for doing what you do.
@@spacemonkeyentertainment6413in Bruges is the definition of a perfect movie. I can watch it countless times and it never gets boring. It has a very specific melancholic vibe that's perfect for when you're having a bit of a shit day
One of my goals when starting the channel 😊 Also I think I'm really lucky with who is watching my videos. I've discovered a lot of great movies from recommendations here!
@ I found your channel whilst looking for a reaction to in Bruges and from there I found your mr inbetween reactions which I loved. I think you would love 3 billboards outside ebbing Missouri, another of Sam Rockwell’s greats
This movie had limited marketing and was in my local theater for barely two weeks. My dad and I had seem the trailers and were hooked on seeing it on release day. Looking back I’m so glad we did because this movie is Martin McDonagh’s most underrated film. Coming between In Bruges and his breakout film Three Billboards, Seven Psychopaths gets universally overlooked and deserves much more praise.
Both the guys in the first scene were in Boardwalk Empire, Arnold Rothstein (Stuhlbarg) and Jimmy Darmody (Pitt). Christopher Walken is so Christopher Walken in this 😂
It IS an underrated film. It's absolutely excellent but I only ever hear people talk about In Bruges and Three Billboards. Seven Psycopaths keeps up with those two in my opinion.
The McDonagh brothers are both excellent directors. You’ve seen a few now I think, three great ones not seen yet are The Guard, Three Billboards and Calvary
All the serial killers that Tom Waits talked about in his reminiscence were real, and all mysteriously disappeared without being caught by the police...
The character Tom waits played was my favourite but I really like Tom waits a lot so I might be bias !!! Great video as usual! I’m starting to enjoy your reactions more than the actual movies 😁
When he was telling the story of the night he met Maggie and started with "well, uh..." I could hear Nighthawks at the Diner interludes. I've listened to that album so many times.
I just watched your reaction to Mad Max 2, it was frickin' HILARIOUS..! The way you laughed your ass off to people getting brutally murdered, HAHAHAHAHA..! 😅 And yeah, the gyrocopter was flying for real for sure, back then it would have been a lot more complicated to somehow fake it, instead of just getting a real gyrocopter and somebody crazy enough to fly it. 😆
I've noticed you do a lot of reactions to films that generally don't get many. Dog Soldiers is another one of those films, a film with even less is Life of Pi
@chrissiereacts I've heard this before from some people, but I don't understand why. This film is incredibly authentic. It could easily be my childhood, my school life. It is representative of working class life in the north of England, during that period. That's why it's such an important film. Anyway, thx for giving it a go, Chrissie. I still love your work and will continue to watch your channel.
Once you watch Three Billboards outside Ebbing Misouri then you'd have watched the brilliant trifecta of Marty McD movies... His most recent one, 'the banshee...' I haven't seen yet so I cant say whether its great or not but I imagine it is. On the topic of murderers and psychopaths I highly recommend "Natural Born Killers". Written by Quintin Tarantino and directed by Oliver Stone, Woody Harelson plays a maniacal character in a chaotically edited frenzy of a film. Great reaction Chrissie. Your channel keeps on getting better with every vid ;)
I’m going to throw a couple movie names out at you. First, also starring Christopher walken, “Suicide Kings”. Next, “Rounders”. One of my favourites. Also, “Sleepers”. Pretty dark
I don't think this movie is underrated. If you wanna see something really good too from Sam Rockwell (you maybe never heard of), it's "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" for which he got an Oscar. I enjoy your reactions very much.
Hey Chrissie, really enjoy watching your content.. have you seen Harry Brown, great (brutal) English film.? Should put that on your list, Michael Cains version of Gran Torino, kinda..
Hahahaha! It was his reaction after the warehouse incident. Like a goofy batman/superman skit - "You'll never guess what JUST happened when you left the room" 😅
Fun fact, the director Martin McDonagh often gets mistaken for Sting, finds it funny and plays along. On a slight tangent, you should try The Guard - Don Cheadle and Brendan Gleeson directed by John McDonagh (Martin's brother). Maybe a bit better than this, more of a linear comedy, but they're both great - although, this has Tom Waits.
Sadly there's been two people who've lit themselves on fire over 'i' war against the P people ,, very little news coverage of these two instances but both videos can be found online. It's def not what you would expect either neither of them screamed and it seems they feel no pain as it's happening.
this girl chrissie is def the type who picks the bad boy all her life then says all men are awful then gets to like 40+ and tries to find the beta provider while cheating on him with the bad boi type on the side still.
@ I really enjoyed your review so thank you very much. I don't like violence but comedic violence can be a lot of fun. Mum, wprried that the Three Stooges were a bad influence on my upbringing.. lol.

Fr tho, any chance she can react to Lock stock and two smoking barrels or Crank?
Lock Stock is on my channel already ;) I'll add Crank to my list!
@@chrissiereacts I did not know that, thank you thats being added to my watch list.
Have you seen Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri? Same director and such a good movie
Not yet!
This movie I thought was decent but I really liked 3 billboards a lot !!!!
Personally i think In Bruges is still his best work.

Put your hands up!
No.
Why not?
I don't want to?
Christopher Walken could read a shopping list and have me rolling on the floor laughing.....
its one my favorite movie scenes of all time

That ending scene/monologue about the Monk is probably one of the best plot twists within a movie that I've ever seen.
Both the guys in the first scene were in Boardwalk Empire, Arnold Rothstein (Stuhlbarg) and Jimmy Darmody (Pitt). Christopher Walken is so Christopher Walken in this 😂
I need to add that show to my list.

Such a fantastic underrated movie. Martin McDonagh has one sick imagination!!
Walken is excellent. Tom Waits is superb.
Everyone is great.
💯
Had it not been for your channel, I would have missed out on some of the most amazing movies. Im sure you have a wonderful DVD collection.

The Guard is on my Patreon :) Not sure if/when I'll edit it for youtube though
All the serial killers that Tom Waits talked about in his reminiscence were real, and all mysteriously disappeared without being caught by the police...
It’s such a beautiful romantic fiction of what could’ve happened to them. Legit makes me cry every time I watch the movie.
The character Tom waits played was my favourite but I really like Tom waits a lot so I might be bias !!! Great video as usual! I’m starting to enjoy your reactions more than the actual movies 😁

This is one of my all time favorites, and it is criminally under-reacted to. Thanks for sharing!
Best line "you can't let the animals die, just the women " - had me in stitches.😂 It sums-up Hollywood.
I adore Christopher Walkens performance in this film. He is magnificent.
If you liked this, you should DEFINITELY try Three Billboards and Calvary. Fantastic content again from a stunning woman. Loved the cat! 😂 xxxx
Never new about this great film. Thanks Chrissie. Great reaction.😊

Chrissie reacts to movies that few others do because she HAS GREAT TASTE in movies!
[To Chrissie: How soon do I get paid? 😉🤗🥰]
You're like the first reactor I've seen watch this hilariously awesome flick . 😂
Cult classic, always enjoy the Colin and Martin collaborations.
Martin mcdonagh has made three very funny movies. In Bruges *Seven psychopaths* and three billboards outside ebbing Missouri
it is criminally underrated....some of the best Walkens,Farrel, and Rockwell's performances put to film
Walken's line delivery of "No" when told to put his hands up will never not get me.
I love the Walken Viet Monk Scene at the end
Love the tight red
I've noticed you do a lot of reactions to films that generally don't get many. Dog Soldiers is another one of those films, a film with even less is Life of Pi
Every new reaction video from Chrissie fills my soul and gives me purpose.
I strongly recommend you watch everything by this director, and his brother too!
I'm so excited, I haven't slept since you said you'd do it 😊
Bad news. I tried watching it today and had to turn it off after an hour. It's so incredibly bleak - not the film for me.

I've actually already reacted to Banshees :) It's uniquely dark in its humour so prepare yourself for that.
I'll add Natural Born Killers to my list!
The VC psychopath story was my favorite. Probably because the whole idea of self-immolation just really creeps me out.
