I'm determined to get over my anxiety tommorow and do the stair master for 25 minutes. And then as I get more comfortable I will do it for 45. I'm afraid of heights and being off the ground thinking I'll fall back. But imma stay focused.
youll be all good im afraid of heights myself and get vertigo start out with streching then see where you comfortable on the stairs i hold on to the side rails and its all good
Very good video. I like that you are not complicating anything like the other videos. "green button go, red button stop" You show us there is speed, and admirably you mention slower steps for muscle and flexing. Very good.
Went to the gym, used the treadmill, elliptical and cycle /spin. This is the first gym I've joined that has a stairmaster. Didn't use it coz of my anxiety about being judged if I use it wrong. Thanks for the vid, will try this tomorrow.
I added this after my 45 minutes of light weights. It crushed me after only 6 minutes. Next time trying 10 excited to see how far I can go. Thanks for the proper breakdown.
I think it depends a lot on your weight, the heavier you are, the more it kills your. I can do between 30 and 60min, and I really like this machine, and my husband does 10-15min max, and it’s definitely more difficult than any other machine for him. It’s crazy
I do 60 minutes @ 10.8 MET - Level 76 usually burns 1000 calories - then jump off this onto a treadmill for an hour 15.0 gradient 6kph 11.2 MET and burn another 1000 calories - not bad for 61 years of age - and I do it 5 times a week
Thanks for explaining, there was no body to guide oh how to use this machine. I missed a step on my way down and fell on my butt. Am 282lbs looking to drop 115lbs and definitely will be using this machine every time I go to the gym.
I can do the stair master for an hour on 7 trying to work my way up on it I don’t lean on the rails either I just hold them for balance so far this has given me some serious calves and upper leg strength. I usually will do 30 mins on the treadmill though and 30 mins on the stair master.
HAH I got it on this last week and I was doing two steps at a time because I wanted to work my muscles more. I mean I think it worked pretty good? But I probably looked crazy or something. I stepped normally too but for most of the time I skipped a step lol
Is going faster easier or is it just me? Haven’t done these in a few years so I don’t want to go hard. This seems like a better workout than leg press.
Are you keeping your body from the hip up at a constant height? If you do this, it's harder, especially at slower speeds. I think it's better to climb it like you would real stairs, letting yourself quickly raise with each step and slowly descend inbetween the steps.
@@curlygurlxo everyone was new at some point in their journey. Most people don’t care about people around them, they’re in the gym to work on themselves. Don’t let your worries and anxiety stop you. If anything they will be proud to see someone starting a healthy habit. Good luck 💪🏼
You have to start out low level low time and work your way up but whatever you do. Don't stop progressing! I use to be able to do 20 min at level 4 but I stopped for a few months. Now I'm barely doing 12 min at level 3! I'm working my way back up..
I'm new to using the stair master.. Does the steps get harder, as the levels increase? I'm at level one. Did 6 minutes, thought I was cuttin up. Increased from 5 minutes...lol.
It's mostly genetics. I've known people who work their calves hard and barely have muscle tone, while others who are just lucky and have naturally big calves
My gym anxiety thanks you
You're welcome and thank you for your kind comment :)
Thought I was the only one
Me too 🥲
SERIOUSLY 😭😭 I’m like ughh I wanna go but I need to know what I’m doing
Girl same I’ve had a membership for ages but too nervous to go! Shall we go together xx

Nobody at the gym cares about what other people are doing, everyone is looking after themselfs, GO FOR IT!!
Facing my anxiety today. Just needed a little more encouragement. Thank you
this machine is much better than going on hikes in rainy, snowy or cold weather conditions
This is perfect for my needs. So glad it came put together and all I had to do was unbox it. Thanks!

Wow I need you as my work out partner
It's certainly intense. I wasn't even going quick and my heartrate still peaked at 160bpm.
Thank You!!! Wow I literally have been using this machine incorrectly EVERY TIME!

What if you misstep or lose control at the top? What's the best way to avoid falling, as there are no safety steps on the top or on the sides?
Thank you for showing how to use this machine
Thanks you help me ...tomorrow I will try staircase cardio
I did 2000 steps and I lost 400 calories in 40 minutes.

Alright Beast, that was an exemplary demo. You have earned a sub.
Hands off rails. Climb like a juggernaut. Work those stabilizer muscles 😎

Champ, conoces alguna App para androit que pueda conectar el StairMAster?
Great content my friend needed this
Glad I came across this video
This machine is so intimidating to me but I am going to try it soon. I have bad balance.
Quick question: I supposed to use my whole leg to climb or just my feet?
Very helpful thanks so much

does it grow the booty?
Wow!! What changes did you notice?
Thank you! Is there any reason not to mix cardio/workout days? Or just a preference?
great! straight to the point 👍🏼
No hands is the best way to do stair master on whatever speed just no hands!!
This is what I was looking for, 😊
can I use the stairmaster as an weight Trainer?
Thank you so much for this. You are awesome.
Could you tell me how it machine working principle
HAH I got it on this last week and I was doing two steps at a time because I wanted to work my muscles more. I mean I think it worked pretty good? But I probably looked crazy or something. I stepped normally too but for most of the time I skipped a step lol
Thank you.
Just did 5k steps without touching the handlebars
Gracias pana......de veras me has ayudado con este pequeño tutorial
Thank you immensely!
does it count the number of steps you climbed ?
the machine at my gym does
Don’t stretch before any workout you can get injured stretching a cold muscle the best time to stretch is after any workout!!
Exactly!
😱😱 I always knew stretching after a workout but didn’t know it was not a good thing before .. thank you
Bullshit
Cardio warm up, stretch, weight lift.
Yep. I was never told this back when I did yoga and was fairly new to it still. Strained and over worked a couple areas
Is going faster easier or is it just me? Haven’t done these in a few years so I don’t want to go hard. This seems like a better workout than leg press.
It is easier but you will run out of breath pretty soon

Beautiful 😱😍 can't wait to try it next time i see one irl.. XD
Good video. Thanks.
Does your feet have to be straight or can they go sideways
I do the stairs stepper all the time and stay on now about 40 minutes and burn about 500 calories and take a break and get on the treadmill
Amazing!!! Thank you
The proper form is to actually not hold the rails...the goal is to work up to that.
You can hold it. Just don't put your weight on it
Yes, I cheat sometimes 😂
Very clear. Good job,
Im buying a 20kg weights vest and doing this. Lets see how long i last
Happy i found thiss
Thank you 😊
This machine is great but you need to know how to use it ask someone do your warm up if your just stating 3 mins as it's hard
20 min stairmaster 5x a week on the morning, lifting on the evening
thankyou! this is awesome!
You're welcome and thank for such a nice comment :)
I do about 1 hour at a low speed it’s all about balance. my pov.
Great 🌸
Good video bro
This machine Is a killer I can only do 5 mins
I did 55 mintue of this today
No instructions how to use the workout functions ?
The stair master kicked my ass... how do people get use to that thing??
People at my gym use it for an hour!! I would love to try but def not beside them, how embarrassing to get off after 5 mins lol

You really just have to work through the pain. If it's too hard turn down the speed but don't stop

Joe Biden needs this
This machine looks silly because the heels hang over the edge, which is absolutely not how to walk safely
Nice physique bro
No explanation on form, just on how to use the machine. Not very informative
Taylor Swift hates cardio.
Columbian beast, you need to tell us about your steroid cycle!
These is dangerous
