  • Azelaic acid is one of my all-time favourites. It's an incredibly versatile and effective active ingredient that can address so many different concerns.
One of it's main benefits is in it's treatment of acne. Not only does it work on 3 out of 4 points on the acne highway, but it also helps reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, leaving your skin looking clearer and brighter.
In today's video I'm sharing 5 reasons why you should incorporate azelaic acid into your acne-fighting skincare routine.
As always, thank you so much for watching and for all your support!

I use Skinoren (20% azelaic acid) to fade hypermigmentation and it works better than everything else for that! And plus it helps with the acne

very informative! I love Azelaic acid. The Unspotted night serum by Lion Pose has it and that's why I'm using it. together with tranexamic and glutathione and other very nice ingredients.

nice content :) informative, I like my azelaic to be blended with other good ingredients as I don't like to put different products, I'm using Unspotted 4x night serum by Lion Pose and it's a mixture of azelaic acid, tranexamic, glutathione, aloe etc.. It really lightens my dark spots and hyperpigmentation also helps with my acne and hydrates my skin. cool right?!

Tried using azelaic acid consistently for ten weeks; unfortunately my skin doesn't like it ( just like when I Tried salicylic acid, I just keep breaking out and am now stuck with a face full of red marks 😔 )

Damn I’m sorry you gotta go thru this ..there is no greater pain in life than trying something or things that’s supposed to work only for it not to work or make ur skin worse 😩😩😩
But maybe try BP or AHA instead or even tretinion..I’m not no skincare geek btw

I use the Paula’s choice azelaic acid but every morning and through out the day I develope these tiny almost unseeable white heads that just scratch off…what causes this? could it be that product? Otherwise I have no acne but I feel like it’s causing these white heads?! I have had no luck finding an answer to these

I had this happen to me before. I found it was related to a moisturizer I was using at the time that was a little too heavy for me, but I think it was an occlusive ingredient in the moisturizer. Not just the fact that it was a heavy moisturizer... I always use heavy moisturizers but once I switched, it went away! Hopefully you figure it out!
