Been adding SA after I use benzoyl peroxide… no wonder I’ve been breaking out bad…. I needed this!
FYI I think they showed the wrong cerave cleanser at 5:10. You want the Cerave Acne Foaming Cleanser, not the Foaming Facial Cleanser
I bought the two BP and Glycolic acid, but forgot the warning that its not to be used, i thought it was a mistake and searched to confirm but couldn't find, then i tried them together once, in very small amount, thankfully nothing bad happened to me. Still when i am using the two alternatively, without cleansing the face thoroughly, so there's a big mix, but didn't harm me anything, thankfully. i will take care of it now.

I use retinol in the evening and morning benzoyl peroxide . It works for me .

I usually follow Panoxyl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide with the application of Vitamin C. That explains the strange breakout on my face. Thanks for the correction.

Breakout means your skin is telling you that there is irritation.

Yes put the niacinamide on with your moisturizer after you put on benzoyl peroxide. Niacinamide play well with almost anything and it helps skin out. I like to mix it with my moisturizer after I put benzoyl peroxide on.

Hi! I'm not a doctor, but from hearing around from sources, you can use benzoyl peroxide during the day (a benzoyl peroxide face wash would be even better to use), and yes, adapalene gel does take a long time to work, you just have to wait, it took months for it to work on me but I had patience and it paid off. My derm prescribed me benzoyl peroxide and differin together (using differin one night and b.peroxide the next night) been using for 2 months nothing happened yet for my acne. I am also using vitamin c at mornings
Cut down on dairy. Get acnecide 5 percent and use only a thin sized amount and only use this once a day in the evening. Drink loads of water. Cut down on sugar. Get a nice moisturiser to use after and workout often.
use bp wash & Differin gel together .They work so well. Cut down on vit c for now. Once you acne becomes dry meaning PIE , you can start vit c to fade them. Now if you use so many actives it will just fvck up skin barrier
@dondawest-ig4qu is the 4 percent wash any good. I use the 5 percent leave on and it seems too strong.
@@HuzN26 yes I USE the one from Panoxyl brand (4%) at night everyday for 2-3 minutes. It's very hot weather now for me so it doesn't dry me out. Make sure to buy the legit ones. I ordered one from amazon, it was way too runny gel like & broke me out.
So I cannot use retinol (The Ordinary Retinol Squalene 0.2%) and Benzac Peroxide 2.5% at the same time??
correct. use them at different times of day: bpo during the day (in a cleanser is best) and retinol at night.

Benzoyl peroxide already exfoliates your skin and if you use the toner by some by mi which contains aha, bha and even pha it's gonna irritate your skin alot. Opt for a gentle cleanser but obviously if you're doing fine with it you don't have to change.
I personally use my acne cream (which contains benzoyl peroxide) after washing my face and drying it. I only use it at night because it dries out my skin and I only put benzyol peroxide (my acne cream) on, nothing else
If my skin is oily, do I need moisturizer? I just like it better when the skin is a little dry
Even if you have oily skin you must use moisturizer its something u shouldn't avoid

But I use Bengrl cream first on the spot leave it for 5 min and layer with nacinamide
And I swear really work for me
Bengel help to disappear pimple and nacinamide help me to reduce the spot cause due to Bengel

No! Well not in the same regiment.

Benzoyl peroxide per se is an exfoliant element so i suggest using both at night, alternating days. Watch and wait ur skin's reaction to it since reactions to products are subjective! I recommend not using tretinoin in the morning too because like benzo, its an exfoliant! Dont over exfoliate or u'll ruin ur skin barrier 🥲

Azelaic acid can be used with all ingridients bc it is naturally found in our skin

I see some of yall didn’t watch the video throughly!! No type of other acids with BP! So kojic acid NOOOOOOOO! Ur face is gonna fall off. Niacinamide is fine to use after benzoyl peroxide. NIACINAMIDE MIX WELL WITH ALMOST ANYTHING !

Yes ! Yes ! Yes! So this is what I do. I wash my face. Then I put my leave on benzoyl peroxide cream on. I let that dry. Then I put my moisturizer on and add some niacinamide along with it? Do that help? Niacinamide gets along with almost any serum. It’s usually already added to some moisturizers. Hope this helps ! My mom was a dermatologist so I know a lot about skin care through her !

I have suffered from acne for 3 yrs now. Tried all I could but nothing. I finally got benzoyl peroxide and oh gosh just found out that I'm not supposed to mix it with salicylic acid 😢, the pharmacist here recommended that I use a soap that contains salicylic acid to cleanse my face and the itching side effects are not going so well with me. I'm experiencing terrible itching and burning 😢. Thank you for this video but what soap can I use to clean off the oiliness before applying the gel to stay safe

You can safely use panoxly acne wash (bp) together with vitamin c serum or retinol. AS long as it's WASH, it's okay.
