Wow, wtf, small world, didn’t expect to see a comment from Bald and Bankrupt here, one of my favorite youtubers, I watch every video the day they are uploaded, and I randomly stumbled upon this video when looking up throwing knife techniques... crazy coincidence.. He was just in Czech so maybe that’s why, or maybe was interested from his time living in India or something but, wow, small world indeed, lol.
My question is why they didn’t get this guy on Forged in Fire’s second ever episode where the Chakram was the deciding weapon. I had trouble imagining how this weapon would be effective in combat. This dude demonstrates it effortlessly 7 times over. So cool. FIF missed a huge opportunity there.
A properly shaped chakram should fly 100m no problem. Look at pro disc golfers: many can throw up to 200m throws, and world record is over 300 meters. That was in heavy tailwind, but extremely impressive nevertheless. Those discs weight about 150 to 180 grams and glide really well thanks to their shape, so chakram being heavier and less glidy won't come close to those extreme distances, but I can't see why some skilled people couldn't throw a chakram 100 meters. I would love to see a disc golf distance driver being weaponized! The regular plastic ones already cause a big dent when they hit a tree hard, with sharp steel edge (and a palm protecting thing in hand, of course) they would be absolutely deadly.
I actually decided to watch this video to see if I could convert chakram grips to disc golf. There actually is a metal disc golf driver. The thing is absolutely deadly.

However I think it may be easier than we think, us brutes are used to chucking things vs what may seem more difficult ~ but probably isnt. wanted to commend you for following through very impressive throwing practice to stop and talk about this mysterious technique and your experience with it.
I have no experience with these weapons, but, regarding the spinning trick, i think its gonna be a lot like the proper timing for a cast on a fishing rod as opposed to a knife toss, which may be why you found it easier to do with the stick. If you build up steady, solid momentum while spinning, and then essentially point your finger at where you want it to go, itll act like the line leaving a spool and should give you some serious distance. Just a theory, do let me know if it works.
I think the spinning chakram technique is awesome but require: long finger with a lot of calluses, or A nicely fitted metal finger cover or a ring, like a guitar slide, that replaces your stick!
What about putting one of these around a smooth straight stick and launching it with a similar motion to the way you swing a baseball bat or shoot a lacrosse ball? The only problem I think is that it would have so much momentum if you didn't hit your target it would go very far, very fast, and be very dangerous.
Amazing techniques my friend. I will let you know if I come across a user throwing with the Tajini technique. But for now the sidearm looks really cool. And also seems like does more damage.

No matter where the person is.Everyone would scared and terrified whenever he took off his sudarshan in index finger. It looked like death is coming himself taking storms and lightnings. The chakra after bieng released, had such an immense speed that it looked meteor or burnig fire coming towards you. Well....very nice vdo. Love you❤️
(EDIT: Whoever reads this: Please read also my second follow up post. This thing is actually great! ) Hey Adam, quick question: I got a Chakri (so the small version of the Chakram) from Wulflund to test it out and maybe then buy more. But I am actually a bit disappointed. Don´t get me wrong, it is very well made and holds up perfectly, BUT: VERY hard to stick it into a target! Works only in the softest wood, in most other wood it will not stick, even at close distance. And please believe me: Though I still have to learn a lot in throwing, the one thing I really can do: Throw really hard. Mine did not come really sharp too. Is this normal? Did they forget to make it really sharp? Or does the small one just not work? I´d appreciate if you could help me out!
Thank you for the Feedback my friend yes like more throwing implements are for the soft Wood even for Throwing Knives Hard Wood is problem so soft log round in the Key for all Techniques and they are not super Sharp so your cant cut yourself also bigger version sticks better too i am Really happy with them but like i Said go for the Big soft log rounds or throw like grains grow
@@AdamCeladin Quick update my friend, since I want to do these Chakris right: I just took a cheap metal file and literally one minute of easy work gave me the sharper edge I wanted! Now the Chakri is perfect! Furthermore, while practicing, I learned better HOW to throw it: It is notr about power alone, but giving it as much rotation as possible, so that it somehow "draw cuts" in the wood! Guess I´ll have to order the large version too... or better three of those...😏

long finger with a lot of calluses, or
A nicely fitted metal finger cover or a ring, like a guitar slide, that replaces your stick!
A nice ring would even make a scary sound for your opponent to warn of impending doom.
I want this guy on my team when we're playing ball in class
Krishna - perhaps the 🐐 of finger style
What about putting one of these around a smooth straight stick and launching it with a similar motion to the way you swing a baseball bat or shoot a lacrosse ball? The only problem I think is that it would have so much momentum if you didn't hit your target it would go very far, very fast, and be very dangerous.
Amazing techniques my friend. I will let you know if I come across a user throwing with the Tajini technique. But for now the sidearm looks really cool. And also seems like does more damage.
Thank you brother :)
Question I have is where can you get them? Good quality ones that is
www.wulflund.com/chakram-a-set-of-3-pieces there you go :)
@@AdamCeladin thank you I just checked it out Unfortunately they want cookies on my phone I don't like cookies unless they're chocolate chip but I do know who sings are out there now I'll keep looking find a company that doesn't want to invade my privacy
@@keillorchristoph I think you can definitely skip that my friend
@AdamCeladin unfortunately I've tried, just like companies to get the idea that there are people out there that would do business with them if they didn't want to invade my privacy. For a long time in Internet history we didn't have them damn cookies we got along just fine
Adam, love your channel. Can you tell us the name of the Sikh manuscript you reference?
I have a question Adam! Will the kunai be returning to the flying steel site any time soon? I’m looking forward to Christmas
Our god....... Lord shree krishna used this weapon. His chakra name was sudarshan.
Edit: If he released this chakra at anybody there was no chance for the person to survive...
Love you❤️
Jai shri hari Vishnu 🙏🙏🙏
Are there any modern techniques for chakrams?
6:28 this one is just scarier one
Im NOT playing frisbee golf w this dude
Would you be able to use chakram as a melee weapon instead of being throwable?
(EDIT: Whoever reads this: Please read also my second follow up post. This thing is actually great! )
Hey Adam, quick question: I got a Chakri (so the small version of the Chakram) from Wulflund to test it out and maybe then buy more.
@@AdamCeladin Thanks a lot for the quick reply, Adam! :) Ok, I see! I guess I´ll just make my Chakri a bit sharper myself and get bigger ones too!
Guess I´ll have to order the large version too... or better three of those...😏
Очень интересно видео. Но мне всегда было интересно ,как Зена ловила Шакрам на лету ,и почему он всегда летел как бумеранг по кругу ,и возвращался назад ?! Может это всё просто спец эффекты ?
