I would LOVE if you'd do a yearly (or even seasonal!) 'our favourite views of the garden' video - no talking, just music playing over some of the most beautiful perspectives in your space x
Been watching for several years now but I’ve never commented bc I didn’t want to get lost in all the Love shown by all that appreciate you guys. Not only do you inspire and educate, but you help me personally through seasonal depression in the Fall. I sit quietly each morning after the morning rush, sip my coffee and take in your videos, and it just lifts my spirits. Thank you for making a difference for so many of us!!❤
Oh my heart!! To see Samantha Grace out there helping you was so sweet! She’s getting so tall, just like her big brother! It’s great to see you still planting…what a gift this fall has been!
Laura’s videos is the one thing getting me through winter. A cup of coffee, a cosy blanket and binge watching a couple of hours is the best way surviving winter!
What a lot of beautiful plants you planted today and what a lot of beautiful fall colours going on in your beautiful garden. Love seeing little Samantha today just so cute.
Those sumacs are amazing! I like the pillar shape on the Rose of Sharon much better than the old style. The garden is really starting to come together. Always so inspiring. We have had a frost here so I am off to start digging dahlias and putting my cut flower garden to bed.
i can't even find words to describe how excited i am to see the first plants go into the front bed. i don't know if it's more of a "me" thing, but whenever i start planting around a tree that's been alone for a while, even when not adding extra water, they just do better, like they're happier to have friends or something lol. like this year i finally got some strong native plants that can deal with dry shade, and even with the intense drought over the summer, the dogwood they're surrounding has made the first successful fruit in YEARS
I LOVE when you "digress!"😄 omg the Cosmos, White pillar Hybiscus, and Sumacs! Yummers! Greedy for a Fall Tour before your first frost! Swoon!! Thank you for all you do!
Oh my goodness, those Sumacs are GORGEOUS!!!! What color...you should dig up the suckers and place them where you put the spireas, they would look great there as well.
So dear to see Samantha Grace "helping" with the planting! I love it that you're allowing the brave hollyhock to live its best life. Great video! Great weather here in Ohio too!
Hollyhocks are the BEST!!! Even tho they act like a weed, they give amazing color and surprises each year!! Glad you are letting this one keep "living".
What a video editing crew!! Laura is planting and I become mesmerized by the fountain, perfect timing a close close up!! (rewind rewatch, finish my last sip if coffee) As Laura says its an entire team, great job.
I became mesmerized too! I saw the wet splash zone around the bottom and my mind put the whole fountain on a 4 inch high concrete pedestal that extends maybe 10 inches or so beyond the bottom bowl for the water to splash on. Laura's garden is almost like a fantasy game for me. lol
Holy Heucherella’s! Laura you have a certain way of making it look extremely luxurious when your digging in the dirt, spreading bio tone and plopping those gorgeous fluffy plants into their new homes! I would love to watch you on the big screen with my maga soda pop 🥤 extra ice and my over sized bucket of salted buttered popcorn 🍿 - perfect date night !! ✨🤍🥰
Everything is looking so lovely! I love how autumn slightly mutes the tones of the smaller plants around your gardens and really allows textures to shine through, while putting on a show with the foliage colors. Those sumacs 😍 - I have been obsessed with them since they were first planted! You and Aaron are not the only ones noticing how lovely the views are from so many spots around your property; it has become super distracting during videos (in the absolute best way)!
You’re such an awesome teacher. The most reliable too! I have been following you for five years…. You’re such an inspiration to me! Thank you and Arron. 💕💞💓💖💗
Hi Laura, I just lost my dog a few days ago. Sitting here watching your video, I can’t concentrate to listen to what you say (just too sad to be able to do that) but watching you planting gives me comfort. Thank you for that. And Aaron of course for the editing. ❤ Wishing you and your family all the best.
What a great way to start the day, walking around your garden. I love the lamium underneath the Hydrangeas, it's so gorgeous! The South Garden is really coming along, it's looks wonderful! The Sumac looks spectacular, love all the plants your putting in. It's so nice to see something going into the big bed by the house. I know that's going to be amazing as it develops. The Cosmos are really putting on a show, amazing!!! You are a talented gardener, and you make all the hard work look easy.
Something Moving In The Hedge! 😮 Loved everything and also seeing Samantha Grace looking cute as always. But Rustle 🐈 I’ve giggled and giggled at this (time 16.56 mins into the video), seeing something movinging coming out from the hedge 😳. Then realised it was Rustle tail moving 🙄😁😆😆😆 had to watch a couple of times 😆😆😆
Your enthusiasm is contagious!!! Love the Sumac also. You are so lucky to be able to plant next to a tree! The grass pathways are a wonderful accent to your flower beds....and oh my goodness, those Cosmos!
It must depend on the region..we have garden centres open year round, but we can plant almost year round here on the west coast, in Vancouver BC Canada.
My Mahogany Splendor got nailed by a light frost also. I only had one plant but like yours, some of the plant died and some survived. I will be cutting it back as I'm in Upstate SC and we have nice weather for at least another 10 days. Time for fall cleanup.
I’m loving how Nice everything looks. Thanks for the mini tour! And thanks for your detailed explanations of what things are and how they’re doing! 💚💚💚
Laura, I got excited when you placed the Heucherell’s in the fountain garden near the house! Looking forward to seeing that area fill up! All the views are certainly beautiful.
we just came off a 2 week drive across the country, and it was so great to cue up GA in the morning on my phone and still keep up!! everything is looking so fabulous, and for the first time in my rather "up there" age, i got to see fall colors on the east coast.. so now, i get it.. pictures just don't do it justice, they really do GLOW!! i just might have a little fall envy down here in socal, lol... love seeing Samantha out there helping you, oh my word, she's growing too fast!!! now off to get caught up in my own gardens; they didn't stop growing while we were gone, lol... 🥰❤ thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
Omg, I’m the same! We just don’t get those beautiful colors in socal. I, too, have been on the east coast. Fall is amazing. I get it now why people love fall so much!
I would love to see you guys do a lawn care video! Your grass always looks like perfection! What do you use for fertilizer? Do you overseed every Fall? Tell me all your secrets 😊
I would love to be one of the neighbors houses that faced GA property 😊 I would be peeking through the arborvitae bushes each day to get a personal update!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! ❤
Had no idea the little cutie was Samantha until I read the comments!😅 I was thinking a friend’s child was visiting, she is growing so fast! I can’t wait to see her start conveying what her favorite things are in the garden. Everything is gorgeous in the garden!
Capturing On Film The View Which You See While Driving The Gator, Is Both Beneficial And Rewarding. Take Us Along More Often, As You Journey Through That Beautiful Garden.
We bought a garden hose wand, a gorilla garden cart and a hoselink. All because of you. Thank you for making our gardening easier and more fun. Love your videos.
It was snowing when I went to take dogs out and my youngest left for school. It is slushy and mucky and brown and disgusting here today. I love the Mr. Mustard! Your gardens are SO beautiful. Thank you. I lit my woodstove.
The Sumacs are beautiful! Living in North Florida we don’t get much leaf color so seeing your garden this morning was a treat! It’s amazing how much work you all have accomplished in the past couple of years. I’m hoping one day you will open your gardens up for public tours, I will make the 36 hour drive…..we have an RV and can visit so many states along the way! But until then I will continue to enjoy watching the progress. Thanks again and again for being a positive in this world! P.S. When I saw Samantha, it reminded me of Benjamin at that age in the garden with you 🥰
👋🌞Good Monday morning, Laura! I hope you and your family had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! Oh my 🌟🌟🌟, I about jumped out of my chair, when you said the Eye Spy heucherella grows in my Zone 9!!! That plant is soooo lovely; I absolutely adore the pink flower blooms. Now, just 🤞🤞 hoping to be able to find them nearby. Ooh ooh ohh, a full view of the fountain ⛲️, since you are planting near it!!🥰🤗 Loving the selection of planting 🎶🎵🎵🎶 music, Aaron/Ken!!! 👏👏 Thank you, gentlemen! 👋Hi Samantha Grace!!!!🥰 You are growing up sooooo quickly! Look at all of that hair, too. So sweet that you are helping Mama plant the hibiscus 🌺 plants! 👋Good morning Russell! 🐈 What took you so long?😉😂🤣 Loving the mini update tour!!! Everything is l👀king sooooo good, for almost the end of October! I am looking forward to my flower bed to start its' show, now that Arizona is FINALLY cooling off. We are still getting high 80° temperatures, though. Have a Blessed and Beautiful day/night 🌞/🌜✨️⭐️🌟🌟⭐️✨️🌐 everyone! Kimberley F in Avondale, Arizona USA 🇺🇸 (Zone 9b) 🌞🌵💞
Love fall color and weather. Those sumacs are striking! Praying for rain here in north central Texas. I watch every morning while having my morning coffee, starts my day off right!👍
Good morning Laura and Aaron! Lovely fall here in N.C. also!! Love that your able to keep planting!!! Having my coffee with you this morning. Hugs from N.C..❤️
Wow that color does look beautiful, I can see 👀 why you want to have it naturalize! I love everything about the season of planting and blooming, harvesting etc.- I'm already backing off somewhat and am starting to miss it! I enjoy watching you continuing to tackle projects and then in the greenhouse later, that always helps me muddle through the cold time! 👍👏😊
FYI! Watch those False Spirea! I worked as a gardener & "attempted" to rid them from any gardens they were planted in due to the suckers. Huge tangled mass of roots & they run many feet from the mother plant. Also the flowers due attract pollinators, but do not smell nice. Zone 4a gardener here in northern Wisconsin.
Hey Laura you must know most of us enjoy watching you with our favorite morning choice of drink mine being coffee, butter, raw cream, no sugar.... what Do you have in your beautiful lady’s face/ flower cup as your favorite morning choice of drink this fall? ✨🤍☕️
I will be using ‘Sure Fire Rose’ begonias next year. I see them still looking great at my favorite Farm Store and public buildings and areas. Zone 6a Connecticut
Such an unusual fall season! We get to see different treatments in your garden this year! My daughter and her husband are moving into a new house here (PNW) in 20 days and she and I are hoping that we can do a little bit of gardening at her house! They are 10 minutes away so I can see a lot of fun gardening over the coming years!
When I think this video has to be the last video to fill up that space. Boy am I wrong! You still have an enormous amount of space to fill! Plant 🌱 on!
I remember Laura mentioning how Coral Bells can get rot and die. I have had Coral Bells die as well. Wondering if Heucherellas or Tiarellas are more resilient? If investing money, is one hardier than the other?
Good Morning! 🍁🍂 I just finished planting my bulbs in short sleeves as opposed to long sleeves & a hooded sweatshirt! This weather we are having is crazy, we were up in the 80's this past weekend!! 🥵🌷⚘️🌿🌷⚘️🌿
We had our first frost third week of September and have had our first snow as well. I would like to say that’s uncommon for my zone three northern Minnesota but unfortunately it’s not. I’ve been soaking up your gardens beauty as I already miss mine! Thanks for all the beautiful inspiration that you provide!
Great thoughts on combinations and naturalizers, Laura. Thank you! Aaron will see Laura size prints tiptoeing across baby grass in the video. Busted! 🤣
We had our Frost over the weekend and spent it cleaning out pots and digging up stuff out of the landscape they got bit still have beautiful fall color the Landscapes looking pretty empty we get ours here earlier and Corydon Indiana with your garden looks gorgeous
Those Sumac's are absolutely beautiful! They do look like they are on fire. Beautiful, beautiful gardens. What a great job the two of you have done. Gorgeous! Samantha was your helper today huh? LOL. What a little cutie.
Wow Laura you read minds. I was saying to myself how you could just dig a hole under a tree without any effort when I struggle for a long time when ever I have to plant under a tree. I did get an auger last summer on Aarons advice and I know what you mean about snagging roots. Found out the hard way lol. Still its a chore but under that tree you didn't have any problems!
A garden tour before the freeze comes? Please!!!
I would even be happy with a tour without talking. Talking is fine as we learn things but I do know it’s a lot of work.
Yes please please a garden tour!
Yeah I like the silent ones too
I would LOVE if you'd do a yearly (or even seasonal!) 'our favourite views of the garden' video - no talking, just music playing over some of the most beautiful perspectives in your space x
What a great idea! That would be amazing! 😊

I too look forward to my coffee and the calm voice of Laura every morning, stay well Leslie.
“Aaron is going to see Laura-size footprints walking through his fresh grass”… too funny. I couldn’t help but chuckle.
💛😅 It was my favorite moment too!
Same! 🤣😂😅
😂😂😂yep
The auger! My husband broke his wrist using one to set a fence post. 4 surgeries later, we're back to shovels. Hucheras are on my list for next year!
So sweet to see your baby girl helping you in the garden. Thanks for the smile that brings!
Seriously thats my favorite part!
She was so adorable!!
Samanatha Grace is so adorable, so grown up! Pretty soon you will have a home-grown crew helping you in the garden!
Loved seeing Samantha Grace out helping this morning! Your baby girl looks like such a big girl in her jeans and pink hat.💗
Camera quality and depth of color is SO MUCH BETTER in the planting part of this video! Thank you!
Oh my heart!! To see Samantha Grace out there helping you was so sweet! She’s getting so tall, just like her big brother!

Love the purple pillar hibiscus ❤ and that Mr Mustard!

Mystery solved, too funny!
It is not a bug😅

What surprises me is that you can still acquire new plants for your garden at this time of year!
Right! And the plants look so fresh! Ours here (NW Pa ) look very sad .
I think these are probably plants she has had for awhile.
I find that so confusing how we can plant them in the cold but not freezing temperatures also-it goes to show ya how durable plants really are!
It must depend on the region..we have garden centres open year round, but we can plant almost year round here on the west coast, in Vancouver BC Canada.
As always inspiring way to start my day. Loved little Samantha's input today XX
Loving the Mr. Mustard. Would love to find that. Fountain is very nice too.
My Mahogany Splendor got nailed by a light frost also. I only had one plant but like yours, some of the plant died and some survived. I will be cutting it back as I'm in Upstate SC and we have nice weather for at least another 10 days. Time for fall cleanup.

Talk about beauty. This is it. So peaceful.
