What headset would you recommend for fps on the ps5 bud? Been watching your videos and you definitely know your cans!

For headphones, I would recommend the HD 560S or TYGR 300 R. For a headset, I would recommend the H6PRO.

@@District.24 thanks for your honest reply man! Are the 560s open back? Also would I need a dac for the ps5 or can I plug into controller?

@@GeneralStealth The 560S is open-back, and requires a dac/amp combo. If you want to use it on the PS5 you need to purchase either a Schiit Fulla 4, Schiit Hel 2, or a SoundblasterX G6. The controller is not powerful enough to run the 560S optimally. Please subscribe to be notified of my upcoming videos.

@@District.24 I am a sub bud! I've just purchased the epos ones you said as I have just sold my g6 with the PC38X and I don't really want to repurchase another dac haha, my audeze penrose are okay but very annoying when you get air in behind the mesh! Sounds like tin foil

Super useful video, I actually have the same setup. I use a modmic uni on my 58x, I removed the foam like you stated in your other video. I have the PC37X though as well, not the 38X. Keep up the good work. Schiit Hel 2 is a great Dac/amp for the Ps5z

My PC38X don't get very loud for gaming. Is there a cheap DAC you would rec?

At 28 ohms and 109 dB, it should be loud enough. If your on the PlayStation the try the Schiit Fulla 4. If your on PC then any Dax/amp combo will work.

Sound blaster G6, if you want to open the wallet up. Schiit Hel 2 for future proof of your setup.

I have the Sound blaster G6, it works great in Direct Mode, I don't even need to activate gain.

The major disadvantage of Jubilee is smartphone compatibility
Since PC38x has same speakers as GSP 500, I know how well it works with smartphone

At 150 ohms, the HD58X was never meant for smartphones, but works just fine with them when you add the Razer Onyx THX amp.

Now I got 58X and I am glad I made a good choice.
It works well with smartphone I have, but audio from Motorola G Power 5G 2023 is pennies better than others for unknown reason

HD58X is the winner, the only advantage of P38X is the treble, that you can compensate in the HD58X with an equalizer, you don't even need to remove the foam. HD58X is more comfortable, better bass, better soundstage.

I now listen to my HD58X with balanced cables through the Fiio K11 and I love the headset now.

@@District.24 I'm now in the path to find an IEM with a similar (and perfect) imaging of the HD58X, I'll publish at @ThingsILikeS2, because I live in Brazil, HD58X in the winter is great, but in the summer I can't.

@@District.24You can use the EQ I use on my HD58X, it's available on a video on my channel. I use APO Equalizer.
