    Thanks for the comparison. Due to yours and some other reviews on TH-cam, I purchased a pair of (used, like new) PC38X's for 100.00. I was upgrading from an old (but still good) SHP9500's and wow, is there a huge improvement in detail and soundstage for music, gaming, or just surfing TH-cam. I am ecstatic with my purchase. My only gripe was the strong clamping force and I mitigated that just by stretching them across the box they came in overnight.

    i love my 560s and told my friend he should try it because its that good! he used it for a day and was like meh i kinda like mine more, i can pin point better with it. so got curious, borrowed his h6pro(open) and he was right! the 560s sounds better but directional audio is better with the h6pro. the verticality is way better! we play csgo, valo and apex btw.

      i have 560s to but wanted to try the h6pro closed for better isolation. with 560s to many sound in background is bad when playing csgo. what is your opinion with h6 open?

    I really want a PC38X but I'm so worried about the plastic extensions. Dunno if I should get the H6pros, I had the closed ones but had to return after 3 days because it was just giving me a huge headache; I felt like there was a ton of pressure in my head and felt dizzy sometimes. They sounded pretty good though, I thought maybe the open ones could fix that.

    • @ryanhostudio

      i think the closed are actually more comfortable than the open. you could try pc38x if that fits better

      @@louieduarte7436I ended up going for the PC38Xs because they were on sale. Never got to try the openback versions of the H6pros, sorry. On the bright side, I think the PC38Xs sound great and the clamp force is a bit tight at first but they break in.

    It's funny the 38x has the most natural sound, because I had Sennheiser 360 GAME or something as my first PC headset way back (they look identical to 38x) and I have yet to experience as natural sound in ANY similarly proceed set since.

  • @Altair885
    @Altair885 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Don't buy any of them, they're all junk compared to the older true Sennheiser models like the PC 350se or PC 360. The 360 being the best but you need a good sound card to pump out the juice to power them! All the later headsets are designed to work with consoles so have much smaller less power hungry drivers, which is great if that's what you want to use them with, but you will notice a huge difference if you step up to a PC with a pro sound card installed!

      have you tried the HD58x?

    • @Altair885
      @Altair885 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@chumpydump Yes, but they weren't mine to keep or play around with for long. To be honest they didn't seem that bad from what I remember, I think possibly that they were close to the PC360's, but then they are proper sennheiser headphones and not a gaming headset. Sennheiser's headphone division is part of the original company and is separate to their gaming headset division, which they part sold off to other companies a little while ago. After this point the sennheiser gaming headsets became pretty poor. Epos and Drop pretty much ruined the quality of the gaming headsets in order to make them compatible with a wider range of devices. Even their more expensive models like the H6pro range just sound tinny and weak by comparison, and it doesn't matter how much you fiddle with the EQ, you'll never get the same range of sound as you did with the older ones. The GSP 500's etc are also no better, and the wireless versions are utter pants! The only other set that I've found that is comparable, is the PC373D. These are wired with a USB dolby dongle to give 7.1 surround sound, and to be fair it does a nice job of it, but perhaps not quite as strong as the old PC360's ultimately.
