Hey bro that's a beautiful audi s3 . I have a 2016 audi s3 also stage 2 with full e85. I have a question about your wheels aodhan did you used wheels adapter spacers make it fit?
@@haroldjuan170 e85 must be fun haha we can’t get it where I’m at I used hub rings though so they’d fit the car, not spacers I think I just got them on Amazon and haven’t had any issues!
@@haroldjuan170 no problem man! here's the specific rings i'm running: www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B084VFNYRR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 the oadhan wheels are 73.1 centre bore
What you said about the car putting a smile on your face EVERY TIME you drive it is very essential, amazing that this is all from a 2L engine that has been pushed to withstand even more power from stock and still remain reliable and a sleeper
So I have a 2017 s3 and have a res delete, apr intake and a stage 1 ecu and dsg tune. I am considering buying a downpipe (preferably CTS catless) and just wanted to know if its ok to run a downpipe while being on stage 1 (ie the downpipe not being remapped)
@@JayChesterman yeah i figured there would be some power loss but i meant is it safe to run? i would do the stage 2 but there are some complications with the manufacturers here lol but still want atleast more sound from the downpipe
@@iyousefq8684 I’m not 100% sure, IE told me to only drive the car from the shop and to try to stay out of boost as much as possible after getting the downpipe installed before doing the tune If I was in your position I’d probably just go with a catback for sound instead of going with a downpipe if you’re not able to tune yet
Good video! I think the extra power is worth any minor drawbacks. I'd be curious to know your opinion on the S3 versus the Golf R in terms of pricing and performance, given that they are very similar vehicles but have a price difference.
thanks man! I think they’re both incredible for the price, i haven’t driven an R myself but I’ve ridden in a stage 2 R and while it’s almost the same car except in a hatch, it’s definitely more raw feeling. I prefer sedans over hatches and also enjoy the upgraded interior but you couldn’t go wrong with either of them, or a GTI for that matter, the GTI is probably even the best performance for the dollar if you don’t care about AWD
It depends on your driving habits, 99% of my driving is short trips in town (10 minutes usually) so I get bad mileage even stock but i did a longer drive this morning and I was at 8.5L/100km for my 1.5 hour trip
After driving the car for the last 6-7 months with the vibrant resonator i've actually really grown to like the sound overall surprisingly haha I'm going to film an in depth exhaust video soon the show how it sounds inside and outside of the car as well as in the different drive modes Overall i think it might actually be the perfect balance between aggressive when you want it to be and completely chill when you don't
@@JayChestermanlooking forward to the exhaust video man! I’ve been running a catted DP to a stock res + stock Golf R muffler with valves open on my ‘17 A3 and that was honestly the best year round setup. But I’ve been running that same setup for roughly 2 years now and want to change it up, so im actually swapping the stock resonator with a vibrant bottle style (1792 I believe) in the next day or two. Hoping for a tad bit more noise + louder DSG farts. A lot tougher getting louder farts on an A3 unfortunately 🥲

Just got my 2020 S3 a week ago loving it so far. Keep up the good work Jay.
thanks man! you’re going to absolutely love the car haha congrats!

agreed man! it’s actually unreal how much performance this little engine is capable of

no you need to have the stage 2 tune unfortunately due to stage 1 tune not being calibrated for the downpipe

going stage 2 does ur audi does it burn oil or have too add oil once in a while ?
no issues with oil consumption at all for me
Does the IE Stage 2 come with cold start delete?
to be honest I’m not sure, I think it might because my cold start isn’t loud at all
