How state governments can institute collaboration | Babajide Akeredolu | TEDxYabaStreet

In his talk, Babajide emphasized the potency of collaboration in accomplishing goals as a unified team. He underscored how working together can amplify individual strengths, foster innovation, and ultimately lead to greater success. Babajide is the Directory General (DG), Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit of the Ondo State Government, the first subnational delivery unit to be recognized by the African Development Bank (AFDB) centre for Excellence. A former technical consultant at Worley Nigeria Limited, he is a public policy enthusiast & strategic communications expert. He studied Chemical Engineering at NJIT where he served as President of the African Student Association. He holds two masters’ degrees in Chemical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada respectively. Over the years, he has employed the use of innovative technologies to train over 500 people on applications of robotics and drone technology for social good and advancement through the Nigeria Flylabs SouthWest Hub, an out outfit he helped cofound. He also cofounded Emerging Communities Africa (ECA), an NGO that is currently partnering with the European Union.
