Very smart use of 3D printed part to support metal work - I love it! 🤩 Would you not normally want the output diameter on the merge collector to be wider than each of the two inputs? I made one to go from 2 x 38mm to 51 mm using two straight pipes for my motorcycle. The output ended up being oval shaped after the cuts of course, so I had to modify it to get it to fit against a 51mm pipe, but it was not too difficult. I can see that using bent pipes as you do looks much better, and I guess a small modification on the 3D print could make the output have a wider diameter. Even just shortening will do the trick. Well done!
Bad ass fixture for holding tubing! Would make it easy in my shop for training fabricators on tube work. To school them on looking at things in squares and straight lines. Seems like some of the new green horns a are hiring are terrified of round things and layout....

We have a hydraulic tool that flares the output hole to whatever size is required. We typically only got to 1.75 from a 1.5” merge
