Drag and drop it into viewport. Than go to Customize > User interface > Toolbars, find "Rendercourses" section, and drop script icon somewhere to toolbar.
I tried it in a couple of scenes on glass material. It actually increased the time of the render ... 😅 In one of them increased by 30%. It was a render of a closet with glass doors with led lights inside.
Hello there. Great video. I have a question please. I am currently using Corona 9 for architectural visualisation in 3ds max 2020. I have an Nvidia 1060 GPU and am considering upgrading to an Nvidia 4080. Do you know what kinds of benefits I can expect from the more powerful GPU when it comes to general workflow in 3ds max with Corona 9? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you.
In Corona you will get no speedup in render time at all. That's because Corona is purely a CPU render engine. The new video card will give a small advantage in viewport performance in 3d max, but in my opinion it is not the best solution. If you're using Corona as the core of your wakeflow, it's better to invest in the CPU.
@@render.courses true however GPU render soon is here. Since unreal engine came up with a great GI speed up on real time, chaos group should do the same with vray soon, which I think soon is going to be implemented in Corona as well. I guess within 1-2 year corona is going to have GPU render option as well.
Hi! This script has no effect on HDRI, because it works exclusively with material through Rayswitch. I can advise you the Moso Quick Environment script to speed up your HDRI workflow. Thanks for your feedback, soon we are preparing a really cool tutorial available for everyone ;)
It is best to convert objects that have the largest surface area. Assuming that there are reflections. These are floors, walls, tiles, etc. In some cases, objects that are close to light sources: glass and crystal chandeliers, metal objects or mirrors.
I'm sorry to hear that. To make it up to you, we can refund your money for the script. Oh, wait a minute, this script is free! In that case you can write your own, I would love to download it and use it
How to install this script??

God willing, do a basic animation course in 3ds max, you would help me a lot
we're planning it, but in the summer
Is it can be used for exterior shot ???

Nice
so it somehting you recommend to do for all materials in entire scene or main/larger materials? such as floorboards?

this works for vray too ?
Vray doesn't have this problem
a lot of bugs in the script! doesn't work with multimaterial! and when i saw your code i understand why 🤣
