    After buying a used, also T05 34 in 177 I am looking now for a 22. After a HO Vortek kit the little 177 came to life. You have inspired me to resume that quest for the 22, and like you, after owning the 54 with the T06 trigger, that is going to be a must have on the 22. Thank you, you do a great job on this channel,, keep up the fine work!

    Hi Kevin,
    Great video, thank you.
    I use .177 calibre because of its flatter tradjectory.
    That looks fantastic accuracy from a .22 at fifty five yards. I think you've bought one hell of an air rifle there, both in quality and how its been looked after. It also doesn't look a heavy beast.
    Best wishes!

    The Diana 34's are my favorite air rifles of all. I must have a half dozen, including the 36. I have TO1, TO5 and TO6 triggers. They are all good triggers and I have things I like and dislike in all three. The TO5 can be adjusted quite nicely, however many find it counter-intuitive to do so...I would never not buy one based on the trigger alone...As far as tuning goes, I have always said that a Diana 34 and a Vortek kit equals instant gratification....

    Congratulations with your beautiful 35 my friend. Great shooting rifle. The .22 cal hits the swinging target hard 😁 Wonderfull day today to do some shooting too. I did challenge a guy here on youtube to hit five .177 pellets on 25 meters with five shots. He did it easy with his Daystate Red Wolf and i just did it with my S410. Now i'm going to try to do it with one of my springers 😅Think it won't be to difficult with the Diana mod.75, than i'll try the HW97 or 98 and that won't be easy.....😵‍💫 Thanks for showing.

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mick. Thanks very much. Open or iron sights is how they're referred to here. The reason that I don't use them is because I can't see them anymore. When I was young, I was deadly with open sights.

      @mickchaganis6607 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@razor1962 I'm OK with diopter sights on my target rifle with a blindsr but traditional open sights on my target pistol, everything is blurred so I use shooting glasses with a peep hole on my dominant eye and a blinder on the other, this sharpens everything up. Before I bought dedicated shooting glasses paying silly money, I made a poor man's version...... Will send a pic.

      A good rifle to consider. Very close to the HW50S Overall just longer and a bit heavier, but the Mod. 34 format has a longer stroke capable of producing more power ! 😉
      But, No it's just not quite as nice or as easy to handle as an HW50S. 🤷🏼‍♂️
      Still... They Are Great rifles ! 👍
      Diana's DO come up more frequently in India.

    • @Libercugetator
      @Libercugetator ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@marcmyers1465 Good morning. And yes Diana springers do come up more frequently in India indeed. I really like the recoilless 54 but it's too heavy. I saw the 350 and a vortek tuned 450 in 177 too. Some of the prices are same as Weihrauch springers and some are even more expensive than the Weihrauch. The problem is I can have only one at a time and idk which to pick first. 😄 So I think I'll go for HW50S or HW80.
      Also, I've come across a Seneca Aspen multi pump and HW80k. Can you tell me about the two if you have used them? I have read about both but most of them gave their opinions after only their first chrono test or from what they heard and it was all from years back. (So I'm thinking they did some improvements by now) I mean I've seen a couple of reviews about the two (Seneca Aspen and HW80k) doing better than what the old reviews claimed.

    • @marcmyers1465
      @marcmyers1465 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LibercugetatorI've personally never owned either rifle. I love the Idea of the Seneca Aspen but unfortunately you really DO have to consider it's Sketchy service history. Dealing with significant mechanical issues on an HPA rifle is not only tricky, but downright Dangerous ! 🙀 And there IS a butt ton of plastic components on the Aspen. 🤷🏼‍♂️
      I have shot an HW80k and I prefer the original format. The HW80 has a 45lb cocking effort and chopping off 3" of barrel length will significantly Increase that cocking effort. The HW80 also produces very significant recoil making it one of the most challenging Weihrauch rifles to shoot accurately. The more weight distributed to the front of the rifle The Better. I also believe the added accuracy of the longer barrel far outweighs any power increase. The HW80 Already produces significant power. 😉
      If you do end up going with a more powerful rifle above 12fpe. Then I would likely consider the .22, especially for the HW80 or Diana 350M. Then you have the advantages of both power and range. Over 16fpe the power begins to limit your pellet selection in .177 and your pretty much locked into heavy pellets. Shooting a conventional 7.9 gr. Pellet out of Super Magnums almost always produces dieseling and DETONATION ! ⚠️ Detonation shatters springs and burns up seals in a BIG FAT HURRY ! 😣 And it's not doing the rest of the gun any good either. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Accuracy goes right out the window and the gun goes right into the shop !
      I DO Have a rather extreme amount of experience with the Diana 350M. I love the forward balance and long range accuracy. 😃👍 I put over 219,000 rounds through mine in just 3 years time, before I finally shattered the spring in 3 pieces and completely fried the piston seal. I eventually sold the rifle, and still regret that to this very day. I highly recommend the .22 !
      The HW80 Is a "Slightly" higher quality gun, but I just like the balance of the 350M.
      Never the less it IS a LONG & HEAVY rifle with an outrageous cocking effort ! ☝️🤨
      With barrel tuner and scope mine came out to 52" long and over 11lbs. 😖

    • @marcmyers1465
      @marcmyers1465 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LibercugetatorAll that being said... I ENJOY my HW50's more than any other Springers I've ever owned and easily take 4× as much Game with them. 🤷🏼‍♂️
      I do A Lot of spontaneous offhand shooting and the HW50S just handles extremely well, and extremely accurate. 😌

    Beautiful rifle! and great shooting!
    I looked at a few Diana's as well...eventually settled on a wild card, a Hatsan 135 .30 springer (non vortex!) with a georgous walnut stock.
    Im really!! looking forward to your performance rebuild, as my Hatsan is presently all stripped apart because I have to send everything but the stock back due a machining error on the compression chamber (Meh, It happens...but I told them Im NOT giving up the stock!!...please send me the parts!, as the stock is one of the nicest looking examples Ive ever seen!! - and they have been absolutely wonderful to deal with and have all the parts all ready for me🥰)
    So Im presently sanding and sealing all the internal wood etc with wood hardner, balistol and wax (Cant believe they leave these bare wood on the inside!...one rain shower and it would be a warping horror show!!)

      Hi John,
      I think that Weihrauch guns have the edge in quality but not by much. Diana employs plastic parts much more than Weihrauch. Still, Diana's are heirloom guns as well. Rugged, reliable performers.
      Thanks for watching.

    • @marcmyers1465
      @marcmyers1465 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Basically, as Kevin said but both companies produce Heirloom quality rifles. In my experience the Weihrauch will always be a little Finer ! 😉👍
      Diana is quicker to compensate for market trends, and augment economical changes on the production line and historically this has ALWAYS introduced instability and shortcomings into their product line. 🙁
      Weihrauch simply doesn't make knee jerk reactions on the production floor. 😉
      That goes all the way back to Herman Weihrauch himself. Absolutely everything the Man did in the course of a day was Well Considered !
      Herman was a Devout Codgermeister down to the very minute they opened the factory gates... 😂

      I am a very seasoned deer hunter, but I use firearms for large game. I focus mainly on springers and there's not a springer made that can reliably kill a whitetail deer. Thanks for watching, my friend.

    Hello, do you have a video where you show the replacement of the breech seal on a break barrel? I am stuck on a project (Crosman). Thanks.

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Bill. Most breech seals are pretty straight forward. Go to 7:15 on this video for breech seal replacement on a Diana model 34. An o-ring like the one seen here is the most common system.

    Hi Kevin 😊 I have Diana 35 t06 what you think about this airgun it's same like d34 or have different are both?

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  หลายเดือนก่อน

      A long time ago, I had a Hy Score branded Diana model 35. To be truthful, I don't remember much about it. Other than that, it was a robust rifle with plenty of punch.
      I'm not at all familiar with newer models. From my experience, all of the German made Diana breakbarrels that I've handled are of excellent quality. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to pick up a decent 35 at a fair price.
      The 34 has been offered in various versions with different triggers and such. That TO6 of yours is an excellent trigger. My .22 model 34 is fitted with that trigger, and I have zero complaints with it. I'm sorry that I can't provide a direct comparison, but it's been so long since I've had my hand on a 35.
      Thanks for watching, my friend.

    What is the difference between RWS 34 and EMS 34 ?

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The EMS version offers the ability to swap barrels from
      177 to .22 cal. It can also. E converted from spring to gas ram.
      34 did not offer these options.
      Thanks so much for watching.

      Assuming the tune doesn't negatively affect the accuracy, I'll probably go with a 4-12 Airmax and BKL rings. On the flip side, the gun seems to perform quite well with the 4-12 Hammers that it's wearing now.
