This video show the full length of a repair to a Sub-Zero refrigerator DOOR GASKET FIX This leads to the water pooling in the bottom of the refrigerator and then overflowing through the door onto the floor. This can cause significant damage to wood floors. The repair is actually quite simple and requires very little skill and few tools. I used a DRILL and a hex bit and door gasket

Thank you for making this video! An idea to make it easier to find, throw in some of the model numbers. For instance, you have the 532 like me. I was trying to search on that, but only found when I pulled out the model number and made it more generic. I bet it would get this more views. Thanks again!

@@DrakeonDigital I scored mine for $500. I pulled off the old 1993 panels and made my own shaker "looking" panels. Thing works like a new one. Oh, you can get LED bulbs for it that don't give off any heat! Check Amazon for the Luxvista 4W T6.5 LED bulb. Took me forever to find it, but it worked like a champ. NO MORE HEAT!

I have a 695 side by side. Only my refrigerator gasket is bad but I wonder if I should do the freezer too and be done with it. Also, I assume that the metal strips are identical side to side / top to bottom and don't need to be marked, correct? Thanks! BTW, your recommendation for where to buy says it's not a safe site.

@@boxpimp I have a 532 as well. The part number is 7042255 and I bought it from www.wcpdistributing.com/. You need to call them and order over the phone. It was about $90
If you strip the screw slot, you put in the next size larger screw, according to the instruction manual from sub zero. It’s not the end of world.
