If im not wrong, after general surgery residency, you can choose a surgical especialty like heart surgeon. Depending on your chosen specialty, residency can last longer or shorter. Surgical residence lasts longer than a family medicine doctor, for example. Hope this helps.

‘I have no idea what I’m doing’
If that isn’t the vibe of medical student vibe in its most pure form then idk what is
She ‘s PA not med stud
She isn't a med student she's a mid-level PA not a doctor.
Thank you for sharing! Loving the look into your day!
Love this! It would be awesome if you could do a video on the good and bad of a specific rotation after you complete it.
You looked super pissed at 2:25 LOL! You're doing great!
Fico feliz em saber que a senhora está bem 🙏😘
All the best sis ...I'm student in medical laboratory science

Hey Dani! You are inspiring a lot of people. Great job. I love the way you established a passive income source cum disseminating(spreading knowledge) channel.
It's just amazing.

You and all med students inspire me to work harder 🙏🏽
Hi greetings from Philippines and currently studying Bachelor of Science in Nursing!
Good luck!!
@@Rorakate thankyou so muchhhh 🥺
Thank you so much I love the video looking forward for more and I’m also realllllly interested in surgical PA 😊 good luck for you🍀✨
The work of a surgeon must require a lot of responsibility and I suppose that before becoming a teacher you must spend many years as an apprentice until you finally specialize in a specific system (endocrine, circulatory, locomotor, etc.) and they let you direct your first intervention. On the other hand, I'm glad that doctors outside of Spain are better valued. I hope you did well in the exam, greetings from Valencia.
You’re allowed to keep your scrubs on underneath? That’s so awesome didn’t know
Some hospitals provide with new green scrubs and some provide with the disposal paper ones!
Wow youre goals. Props to you for the hard work and dedication! I could never lol
You're awesome!! Keep up the great work Dani!
Good morning

I almost went to that school for nursing. Its a great school with great programs. Just was not able to travel from where I lived in Florida.
Lots of love from india 🇮🇳
Would love to see a vid on how to scrub in for surgery with sterile gowning and gloving !
I enjoyed this vlog! I start rotations in June sooo I'm trying to see what I'm getting myself into lol
You're inspiring me🥺❤🌹
After going through a tympanoplasty surgery last year, I dreamed of becoming an ent or audiologist but the thought of performing surgery is soo scary so I probably would prefer audiology
Wish you best of luck all the way what you're doing on the surgical study and to be a good doctor, God bless you 🤍
She has mentioned in the description that she is a PA not a doctor.
Thank you for sharing! I am working on undergrad to get into PA program. Theres a lot to push through getting the things done such as work-life-school balanace. Could you share how you manage your day during undergrad. Thank you
Hey ... 1st of all when u entered in OT you should changed your outside scrub properly than wear OT scrub than enter in Operation Room
Respect the grind 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Loved watching this being a surgeon was one of my interest!🫶🏼
I nearly broke the sterile field during a hip replacement by headbutting the overhead light then rubbing my head. Medical school was fun 😂
Hi dani my first comment 😎😍😍 so sweet of you
This video is sooo well made compared to some other ones.
P.S: Her eyes are so pretty🥺
Okay just wanted to point out that the guy in the poster behind you legit looks like me,
I paused the video 10 times to confirm it and he definitely looks like me!
when i was a student at Internation University at my Country as a nurse school i felt so complicated of learning with medical terminology and take time to do more researching and sleep 6 hourse a day and the most difficult thing is when i was internship' nurse at the provincial hospital and no time to relax when a rotation or nightshift coming .i knew that feeling it is sensational .
PAs do surgery??? i never knew this! i always thought the only people who assist with surgeries are nurses and surgical techs. is the pay still on the same level for surgical PAs even tho they're not diagnosing patients and things like that?
Cool video! Love to see other people making videos too!
This is my dream, currently doing my BSN but hoping after a few years of experience applying and coming a PA in the OR!
lol...why do bsn then pa...just dp pa right off the bat
@@lauran1962 I thought I was gonna be an NP and was already on course with nursing and currently already in school for it. But through school I met some p cool PA’s so I started to do research & realized PA sounded much more me than NP. PA schools want u to have experience in the health care field anyway so I’ll gain some experience then go 🤷🏽♀️
You are so better then us we spend all of our life with ortho.......my foot sp heavy work
Love the video and very insightful content! 🔥🔥🔥
I love your Bedframe where did you get it?
Are you a university student? Or have you already graduated? Or are you doing this as a work experience? This is the most useful video I have come across🤣
Residency is post-med school training, in this case, she is going for General Surgery residency, which is training for surgical fields. If im not wrong, after general surgery residency, you can choose a surgical especialty like heart surgeon.
Depending on your chosen specialty, residency can last longer or shorter. Surgical residence lasts longer than a family medicine doctor, for example.
Hope this helps.
@ lithbcyes4201 she’s not training to be a doctor. She’s training to be a physician’s assistant/associate, which doesn’t have a residency period. She’s probably in her second year of PA school, which is the clinical year.
I remember I had a emergency appendectomy. I went from the doctors office straight to the surgery center!
I dont distinguish people as surgeon and carpenter
We are human not productivity machine and should deserve love for being human for our core for our perspective not our achievements ♥♥
Amazing video 😊, I am also studying MD and my goal is to became Cardiologist
proude to be a Doctor ❤️❤️
