My boyfriend is not a bubbly outgoing person. But when he gets home from a hospital shift from 8am to 11pm he is buzzing and has a hard time falling asleep.
And then goes straight to the laptop to go over his cases from the day 😂 it’s not for everyone

That's how you tell they are new to the game. After years it catches up on you. Same in every field. The newest recruits have by far the most energy, enthusiasm, and most to prove and it's partly why older people have a tough time competing for some jobs.
I remember the derm floor from grey’s anatomy and she is just as happy as them😂

While working in the hospital you are constantly moving and doing things so you seem to not get tired. It first kicks in an hour after coming home and relaxing. Atleast thats my experience :D
@@Ominousm no she can't be like that energetic all the time even if she enjoys. It's human to feel tired after 14 hours of surgery residency day. I'm a surgical resident too and the jobs needs your focus and everything. If you see a tired resident somewhere it's not because they don't enjoy their job. 14 hours of life and death matters and you think people would understand it could be tiring sometimes

When I got diagnosed with HSV 2 it was hell for me, had the worst days, Mental breakdown, crying not eating or sleeping either. It takes real courage and mental positivity to stay happy and energetic after long medical shifts. Really something to learn from after brutal hours in research labs. Stay positive because you need, your patients need it. Keep up the great work Mady❤❤❤❤❤

OR nurse here! I honestly don’t know how you have so much energy after a long shift. I’m literally drained after a long shift + being on call. Lol & I can relate to wanting ice cream after a long day. It was nice to see the other side of what happens when the residents aren’t in the OR! Overall, love love love your first vlog and it warms my heart to see someone so passionate and happy doing what they do everyday! Stay safe! 💜

Just half na hour ago I was searching for some type of dermatology vlogs to watch while I make my notes (since I aspire to do my residency in derm and I felt like that would be motivating) but I couldn't find anybody doing something like this as a dermatology resident. i'm 2 months away from finishing my internship (Environmental, Safety and Health) and i can definitely relate when she said "I'm actually really happy!" despite looking so stressed out. I only work 10 hours per day, 13 hours at most but i enjoyed it very much.

Seeing videos like that where the residents have to wake up at 4am and the actual cardiac surgeons too, waking up around that time make me want to rethink my career choice 🥲. I will start with my clinical next year, hopefully it will be fun and I pray my residency also will be exciting because I’m not a morning person 🥲🥲
I won't lie. I honestly was like "Whaaaat" with my eyes widened and my neck protruding forward after seeing how gorgeous she is AND she's in residency. A smart, educated, beautiful, and humorous person. wow!

I has stomach cancer and my favorite surgeon took out my stomach and rebuilt it with my small intestines and here I am 26yrs later and doing good .when I see him he still remembers me I love him and appreciate everything he did for me and without him my 2 kids would be without a mom .and know I have 2 grandbabies who I get to see grow up. Thank you for all you kids do you are our future.

In 1985 I began the journey of helping to get my (ex) wife through what would turn out to be a brutal 6-year surgical residency at an inner city Level 1 Trauma Center .In those days 100+ hour weeks were the norm for surgical residents .
I wish you well and would advise you to sleep and eat whenever you can and to make a point of finding the time to date and have sex .
This is so true. Sadly, this is still the norm in the Philippines.

Hey guys I am just so overwhelmed I finally passed 🥰my NCLEX after failing 6 times but thanks to my friend who recommended me to Mr. Hudson, who provided me with audios and answers papers I thought this wasn't real not until I approach the exams, I tried Uworld, Kaplan, and many methods but failed two times but that GOD today am a proud nurse , to all those who are still struggling to clear thier NCLEX also never give up see in your self and give a try to any opportunity you got I will recommend anyone who needs the same help I got by dropping Mr. Hudson , number I wish you all goodluck.
