box dye isn’t bleach so it’s not gonna lift any color out of your hair, just add a lighter color on. i use the l’oréal quick blue bleach powder with a developer and it works great!

The revlon box dye is not bleach it’s color, It won’t lift like bleach ;( your hair turned out very pretty tho ☺️

I wanna do my hair also but my roots need to be bleached they haven't been in a long time will i be Okay? To bleach it and then do it a couple hours after?
Maybe it's not what you were aiming for, but it's gorg! The different dimensions are complementary and the shades really enhance your skin tone.
Tip If you want to go more lighter in the red area do a purple shampoo and conditioner mask on the hair dry Cover it in plastic let sit 1 hour then wash it out It definitely works to get rid of brass it worked for me 😎

Would using Colorfix first have helped with the lightening process?
I think using actual bleach would give a better outcome, I don’t think colorfix would’ve made a difference because I was trying to lighten my virgin hair
Omg no! Chlorox will not bleach your hair! Household bleach will kill all the bacteria (good and bad) in your hair and just do an extreme deep clean of your scalp which is super harmful for your hair. Go to a salon or something and buy hair bleach

I'm going to dye my hair permanent loreal rose gold 7.22 I've got dark brown hair with light brown/golden highlights and my hair is really thick and long I'm scared if I dye it, it won't show but my friend has done it she's got brown hair and it turned out really nice she said it lasted for about 2-3 years I'm just a little scared because I've never dyed my hair and I don't want to bleach it because I'm afraid it might ruin my hair
Oo, you know what you should try, overtone. It won’t damage your hair and I think it’s really pigmented! I think you’ll get great results!

Unless u go to a professional you probably will ruin it. Mine was black box dye for 13 years and i was a natural dirty blonde. I bleached it myself 5 times over 4 months and my hair went from past ny breast to now just below my chin with tons of breakage that looks like layers above my ears. Dont do it without going to a trusted salon
So my hair might be platinum but all my beautiful long hair is gone

The first step could have been skipped. You aren't adding bleach to your hair. You're just depositing hair color to the natural parts of your hair. Overall it turned out very beautiful!
