TheFangirlOtaku yes, but you can prepare, there are so much information on the internet. You can read a few articles, go to the forum, watch TH-cam tutorials....
Brad! To answer your question at 3:25 about "why people do this to their hair", I have the answers for you. Coming from a girl that bleached and dyed her hair so much in 2017 that she lost nearly 6" of length to it just breaking off... 1. It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper (if you don't fuck it up) 2. It is actually kinda fun and you feel good being able to do it yourself 3. You get practice and grow your knowledge base, improving with time 4. If it gets messed up, you only have yourself to blame. I've had my hair messed up by stylists too many times to count, and I feel bad being confrontational so I usually just say I like it and then go home to cry into my pillow
adding to number 4, it also feels SO awful when you pay a decent chunk of money just to have the professional ruin your hair (i have super curly hair, once wanted about an inch or two off and the woman somehow managed to cut it so short it was above my ears! i cried for ages)
I also like the control of being able to adjust where I see fit. I never feel like I'm able to do that when the hairdresser already did his/her thing. I cut my own hair today (just made a fringe/bangs and a little trimming), but liked it better than what any hairdresser has ever done, for the cheap price of free! I once wanted a fringe 'till just over my eyebrows and it ended up being halfway my forehead (and I have a tall forehead). the week after I would go on the trip of a lifetime (Tokyo). I actually cried when that happened.
I wanted platinum Blonde hair, with shadow roots... paid £100 for her to give me yellow ends and ginger roots. She cut 6” off my hair also :) from that day I have vowed to never let anyone colour my hair other then myself. I bleached my hair last week, got it a nice banana yellow. Then walked a toner over it and I’m rocking silver hair £24 in total and I love it no damage.
I wanna go blonde but I’m scared to bleach it cause I don’t wanna wanna mess up my curls or the color and I cut my hair all off but I figure if I mess up I’ll just go back to black lol but only if my hair was the length it was before I cut it lol 😂🤦🏾♀️
@@mackenziedesire7515 This is why I cut and color my own hair right now. I am afraid of the trial and error that comes with finding a cosmetologist who ALSO understands how to work with my curly 3A/3B/3C hair that has coarse and fine sections in it. I like understanding what is happening and executing what I want on my hair.
Gods, I had to sell my bike (that I used to get to the 5km away train station every day for work and university) to just get my hair fixed (bleached) after a "professional" thought it would work to just put bleach and red dye together atop black hair to make it red. Guess what. Did not work out and then she went left the career (thk God) so I couldn't get a fix from her. Food was plain noodle for several weeks and every day about 12km walking because I now didn't have a bike no more :D Not going to a salon anymore (small village, only grand ma salons around anyways)
Forreal, I’ve been the only one to get my hair exactly where I want it because no stylist followed my examples. And I know they were achievable AND I dealt out hundreds of dollars for not what I wanted 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
not to mention there are so called licensed professionals who have done worse to my own hair than I have, that’s what happens when you live in a farm town
Oceane Bilong oh, I’m not offended, and I wasn’t necessarily trying to inform. I joke about my grey hair all the time. I guess my comment didn’t come off that way.

@@di5c0rd1a lol you don't have to even be a stylist to work there. I remember one time, I asked a girl who worked there and she literally said the only requirement is to be 18
Okay, but the amount of money I've spent on supplies to do my own hair- gloves, bowls, brushes, bleach, developer, conditioner color, whatever- is pretty damn close to just getting done at a salon. I went from damaged box dyed brown red hair to blonde today it took four hours and $165 and its not trashed like it would have been if I attempted it myself.
Renee Stonebraker it took me 10 dollars to dye my hair. (which I do every week) you just probably like expensive things 😂and what's the fun in going to a professional you only live once lol
Wtf?! She loved it, her bf loved it, yet she kept it for less than a day. 🤔 I mean...... I know as women that we love to switch things up, but she changed this faster than we do our underwear. So her reasoning was that b/c she damaged it by lightening & dying it, she felt the need to fix it by redying it. Mmmkay
Nerdy Mew - Yes it was a bit-of-a time waster. Would have been better if she’d dried it off styled it & then been more honest if she didn’t think it was successful.
Actually, when I accidentally spill bleach on my clothes or, god forbid, a client's clothes, and I don't have any of that stop-the-bleaching-process shit around, I use conditioner or hairspray. It stops the process enough so that the bleach doesn't light the fibers in the fabric, and it comes right off without staining in the washing machine at the end of the day. Works every time. So in other words, you _definitely_ shouldn't put conditioner in your bleach mixture as it will dilute the bleach and slow the process considerably. Possibly even stop the bleach from working at all.
Brad, you should totally make a show out of this! Part one, watch these videos, part two find them and make their hair dreams come true! I would be obsessed with it!
There’s no way to properly bleach at home unfortunately. That’s why people put all their time and money into a school to learn how to do it properly so we have somewhere to go.
Alyssa Reaves this is a damn lie. Y’all can bleach 90% of someone’s hair when they do ombré but don’t want to bleach a whole head at one time. It’s all about money.
Cheyenne Wyatt if a stylist chooses not to do the whole head and do an ombré instead (which never happens so idk what your point is), then there’s a reason. My point is that they have the products you need. Going to Sally’s doesn’t make you hair smart. Education does. Hands on practice for a year does. So I don’t know what this “lie” is that you’re referring to. Of course it’s for the money, it’s how they make a damn living. Again, they put all the time and money into getting that license to do your hair and your gonna bitch about the price 🙄
Hi There it happened to me one time I studied for 8 hours straight a day before an exam it was for my statistics class and I overslept ( arrived after the exam), I told the professor the alarm didn't wake me and I was studying late, anyways he gave me a chance to take it, after I finished I was sooo sure that I made only 6mistakes max out of 60 problems, the next day the professor gave us the exam paper to check our mistakes and what grade we got, I looked at mine happily then when I turned the page to see I WAS SHOOKED (I got 46) I was even laughing hysterically like what is this???? Is this paper mine??????? Major disappointed that course 😔 (I got D). What I got from this experience is to never study too hard and in one go 😄
To add onto what Kaede said, you really should learn the proper way to study. If studying isn't helpful enough on its own, you may need some one-on-one instruction on the material to understand it better. Research has shown that homework doesn't actually provide any benefit to most people, and those that DO see a benefit would get more benefit with personalized tutoring. So... yeah. If you don't understand the material that well, ask someone to explain it a bit more. Either that or you should focus on something else (you can't expect everyone to be a broad-stroke expert, after all).
I've been addicted to your fail videos. There is a lot of similarity to the mistakes made in home construction by non-pros: -Research methods and materials (exhaustively) -Don't "save money" on materials by buying and inferior product. Buy nice or buy twice. -Don't rush the process

Went to a professiona to lighten my har (ombre) ombre was just a striaght line across my head and my hair started falling out.... Later on had dyed it back but then decided to do it myself and it turned out better than the professional had done it so now im just paranoid about others dying my hair
@LilHo Exactly!!! I think it left a scar onme for life in terms of ever wanting someone else to do my hair, but whenever I do it myself it has never damaged my hair to the point that the professional had 😣😣

Brad! To answer your question at 3:25 about "why people do this to their hair", I have the answers for you. Coming from a girl that bleached and dyed her hair so much in 2017 that she lost nearly 6" of length to it just breaking off...
1. It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper (if you don't fuck it up)
2. It is actually kinda fun and you feel good being able to do it yourself
3. You get practice and grow your knowledge base, improving with time
This girl is something else man. It's like she's just talking hair stuff from a random generator.
Lauren = It totally worked!
Brad = Did it?
Lol!!!
Brad: don’t forget to live your extra life!

🤟 for the metal breakdown
"why aren't we going to a damn hair stylist?"
BECAUSE WE WANT XXXXX HAIR AND ARE LIVING OFF RAMEN NOODLES
you said it girl, lmao
Gods, I had to sell my bike (that I used to get to the 5km away train station every day for work and university) to just get my hair fixed (bleached) after a "professional" thought it would work to just put bleach and red dye together atop black hair to make it red. Guess what. Did not work out and then she went left the career (thk God) so I couldn't get a fix from her.
Food was plain noodle for several weeks and every day about 12km walking because I now didn't have a bike no more :D
Not going to a salon anymore (small village, only grand ma salons around anyways)
@@rookieisabelle8384 wtf how did you still pay her I would demand a refund immediately
Brad: "What?? Hold up! Lauren, where is the other head coming from?" Lmao.
I read this as he said it 😂
Same^ 😂
Her: omg it worked!
Brad: ...did it tho?
Haha yes, I laughted so hard xD

I used the battery acid and can confirm 7 inches of my hair snapped off had to get a bob. idk why so many tutorials recommend/use it, i was bamboozled
Excuse the dumb question but... What's battery acid? 😅
English is not my first language, and when I tried to Google it I found nothing but videos and posts about electricity 😂
I wouldn’t think not using battery acid for anything to do with your body is kinda common sense

Im convinced Sally's workers are "those who can't do, sell at Sally's" kind of hair dressers
@@di5c0rd1a lol you don't have to even be a stylist to work there. I remember one time, I asked a girl who worked there and she literally said the only requirement is to be 18
They always do. I heard one girl tell a white chick who wanted dreads that she can't wash her hair FOR A MONTH. Like what? Omg no
Brad homie we are broke and emotionally damaged. We don’t have money to go to a hairstylist to dye our hair 😂
LMAO WORD
Peep the XXX WHY DO YOU DYE YOUR HAIR EVERYWEEK OMG

I love watching Brad. He makes me feel gorgeous no matter what's going on in my life. ❤️
Mmmkay
As a n00b I thought only bleach damaged hair , vs box dye / re-dying also damaging it @_@
I think she was just saying she loved it but didn’t really. At all. 😐
she didn't like the color and probably thought the natural colour looked better
The part that annoys me is she based an entire video around it and we did t even get to actually see it. I dont count wet hair as a reveal
Yet its a popular myth I was told that it helps keep it healthy while in the bleaching process
Brad, you should totally make a show out of this! Part one, watch these videos, part two find them and make their hair dreams come true! I would be obsessed with it!
I clicked ur video soo quick 😂 Ily brad ❤️❤️

“Lauren where’s the other head coming from? I thought you had one head. Somethings not adding up.”
Imagin she had go to a professional at first.
Her hair would look perfect. Her hair is lifting so good.
can you please do a video on how to PROPERLY bleach at home??
simple... you don't
There isn’t a way. I’ve tried all the methods at home and it is never professional quality. Just pay for it.
Pls can U react to Jeneration DIY cutting her hair with crafting SQUIGGLY scissors ✂️

*me calculating how I got a 65 when I studied for five hours*
Either that or you should focus on something else (you can't expect everyone to be a broad-stroke expert, after all).
so all that was for polaroids? honestly something i would do
I've been addicted to your fail videos. There is a lot of similarity to the mistakes made in home construction by non-pros:
-Research methods and materials (exhaustively)
-Don't "save money" on materials by buying and inferior product. Buy nice or buy twice.
-Don't rush the process
A wig would of prevented damage and wasted money 😂
