welding is worse than useless, it is dangerous and short term, you must back purge to TIG stainless, otherwise you get that "cauliflower" build up of black deposits on the inside of your welds where it is in contact with the atmosphere. A good TIG weld should look as good on the inside as the outside. Also ditch the female in the back ground bloody annoying
You're running with 2 x 1500watt elements...? How long will that take to run a batch and at what %..? I'm thinking about making an electric unit but don't want to under power it... Thanks
@@quarlow1215 it was explained to me that classic TIG welding is not good for beer, it contaminates making it dangerous for our health! while food TIG welding uses a particular gas they saturate the inside of the barrel which protects the internal welding from oxidation
@@giuseppeorlandi345 interesting. Never heard that before but I don't know all the ins and outs of welding. I hired a guy just down the road from me and he did a magnificent job of it. Beautiful welds and no grinding or clean up other than pickling to welds.
David Cooley I've worked with keg stills for over 20 years. It is safe as long as you "paste" the joints. I built several "stack" still boiling pots by cutting the top off one and bottom from another then welding them together making a 30 pot. Just needed extra cleanout.
can you tell me about the barrel looking keg, I got one but it does not seem to have the lip where the valve is??
this reminds me of ricky and the boys and their shopping cart
"recycling" hustle

What's the song at the end called ???
cool stuf! where we can find those stainless steel conectors, with clams?
How much would you sell one for
That ain't HOMEBREW, that's some HOMEDEW RIGHT THERE MMHHMMMMM!
150psi....... No, serving pressure for beer kegs more like 8 to 10 PSI. Even during force carbing it never really exceeds 30.
Could you imagine? Beer would be spraying out of the tap like a fire hose if kegs were pressurized to 150 psi.
