Love you guys showing us how to build stuff for our stills and how to make them work better, also how to save money and every thing you need to do the job to build it, what to usefor it all?? I love all that contains plue you show us all the steps and the does and don’ts also all the right tools for the builds, and all the little short cuts for the build save save money!! Unless it's a question of money, you can buy T reducers. When I build a liebig, I do a 3/4 inch jacket over a 1/2 inch condenser. Buy a 3/4-in x 1/2-in Copper Slip Tee Fitting. You have to file out the restricting bumps but after that, it allows the condenser pipe to pass cleanly through with minimal drilling and soldering. Just a suggestion.
You can also use a wet rag to cool solder joints.
got mine from you couple weeks ago, gonna get it going, tell you what...
Instead of making a hole in the side and soldering a thermometer adapter on, use a "t" at the top and put the thermometer at the top where it should be. The temp should be at the top of the column for more accurate monitoring.
Will the thumper setup produce a higher alcohol proof than the jar setup

My tri clamp doesn't fit with the gasket. It fits without it. Any ideas. Im at a loss

Yes it will attach you would need to find a way to support it but should be easy to brace the weight with just about anything

Get a keg of beer , share it with your best friends. Don’t return the keg. You’ll lose your deposit, but you’ll have a keg to build a still
