What chip God inserted in your mind. So many so cute designs and placements you do . Where are they stored in your mind. One of the best teacher you are and extraordinary mind for such cute quilts and tutorials.
Thankyou Donna you share so much, just want you to know how very grateful I am and am sure plenty of others are for all your tutorials, you are a fabulous teacher having taught us all so much …. Again many thanks to both you and your hubby much love from Helen in Australia xxx 💜💜💜🦋😘
Hi Donna I live in England and I just love all the Patchwork you do. You could say I was addicted to you, you are my life saver at the moment, as I am facing a lot of drama. Xxxx
I wanted to ad a photo but could not figure it out. Thank you so much for this pattern. I’ve said it before I’m am totally new to any kind of sewing. I chose quilting to learn. And have been sewing now for about 8 weeks. I made this table runner with a Christmas theme: I used 3 fabrics with one being a theme print. It came out beautiful. I’m learning so much from yours and Matt’s videos. Again thank you so so much for sharing your talent. God Bless, Sandi
I made my Prairie Point table runner today! My husband was so surprised how good it looked. I wasn't, I had a great teacher! TY Donna! This is a GREAT tutorial!
Whoever does the filming of your videos does an awesome job. They get in close so we have a clear view of exactly what you are doing, plus they show us different perspectives. Very professional and terrific job!
I love this pattern🎉. I’m going to attempt this with a floral charm pack for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. Thank you for making everything look so easy. Great directions to follow too❤
Love your videos. I've been sewing for 40 years and still learn new things. Thank you for such great tutorials. You explain things in the most simplistic way and I love how you show what you are doing while you are doing it. I'm a learn by watching and doing person.
Donna, of all shows, I love yours the most!! You give such great tips when sewing for efficiency. Now, to have you teach us how to machine quilt our quilts with beginner and intermediate directions. I think you would be great at teaching us that, too. Thank you for all the sewing examples you make for us!! We all appreciate it!!
I haven’t quilted in about 40 years once I had kids there was never any time so I’m watching your videos and they’re just so wonderful it’s giving me enough gumption to get up then go get scraps and start getting ideas together to make table runners I have a table runner that I made my early 20s for my mom and believe it or not except for one or two spots where the fabrics worn it’s still beautiful and it was all patchwork thanks for doing such a great job and inspiring many of us to come back to quilting or learn something new.
I love this pattern!!! I have made 4 of them so far, each in different prints! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent on you tube. I have learned so much from you
Hi Donna, Just wanted to let you know that I made this and made it a last minute entry into our local country show and got first prize!! Love all your tutorials, Thanks again, Jules in Australia ✂️✂️ PS it was my first ever entry too 😃
Congratulations Julie, awesome, I personally think we tend to appreciate things better when we make it ourselves, it's also a forgotten craft, thank you,From South Africa
Cut it down to 16" by 20" this has made really sweet tiny quilts for babies on the neo-natal ward of our local hospital. Thank you so much for the idea.
I love this tutorial. I have trouble remembering my layouts too, so now after I lay it out, I take a picture of it with my phone and then I can reference it when I need to.
Long, long years ago some talented person gave me a small praise point rug for the bedroom. Half of the prairie points were stitched in rows from the middle with points facing to one end( the width end) and the other half stitched from the middle with the points facing to the other width’s end. It was solid blue folded squares folded exactly like yours. I recall it held up to a great many washing being on the floor. I was impressed with the points needing no sewing .😊
My cat loves watching your videos. Literally!! She often watches them while I sleep. I set them off and just curls up and watches. I'll be worried if income home and she's on my machine one day. Lol thank you for brilliant videos.
I really like this table runner Donna, so much that I'm going to do this same method. By making a quilt and using the prairie points on the border. Even sewing the top and bottom layers together. With the prairie points done the same way. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
An absolutely excellent video because you manage to gently fit in all the small detail techniques that make the difference, and are missing from others' video
This video has the best tip I have ever seen. The method you use for stacking and sewing is fantastic! I have a complicated log cabin and this is going to save me! I can't tell you how many times I have done my layout and then sewn together and somehow I always get something wrong. Thanks so much. Love your videos. You have given me lots of ideas. I especially love that you use alot of batiks!
Fresh!! That's the word I keep coming up with. Love how fresh this fabric is and love how quickly it comes together... Thank you for the measuring and so forth for spacing prairie points. Sometimes that part can be a little overwhelming...(I'm not the best at math lol). Thanks you guys for doing what you do!
I very much liked this project. This is an idea for me to try for a “just because I thought of you” gift to give. But, then, I also have some fabric scraps of reds & greens designs that I believe I can put together a table runner for the holiday season. So, Thank You, for bringing another idea to my mind. I really like how all the fabric points kinda dress up the runner. My kitchen theme is of “John Deere” tractors, so that brings to my thoughts of various green colored fabrics to bring some “pop” colors to my table. I’m happy in my ideas…😊💕🇺🇸
Kaye, I was just wondering if you are going to the Outdoor Quilt Show in Sisters, OR this year? If you have never been before, I highly encourage you to attend. One day only. Start early to see as many quilts as possible.
i've been loving prairie points for a very long time and have just not made anything with them. I will make this! Thanks for the tutorial. Love your channel and your videos. Thanks to both of you, Matt and Donna
sensational, sewing is indeed a universal language. I am Brazilian and I do not understand or speak English (I used a translator that I found on the web), but I understood what you did, perfectly (based on my experience with sewing). I found your work beautiful and learned several things with your way of doing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
A wonderful tutorial as always. Going to try this soon, maybe start out a bit smaller to see if I can do it. Thanks also to your great camera person, always just right and easy to follow your instructions.
So very pretty! 💖 That would make the cutest baby quilt, you'd just have to go a bit longer and wider. I love that charm pack you used, the prints are really nice. Thank you for the great tutorial, Donna.
Accidently came across this, but I loved this, watched few of your videos and and honestly I am in love with this quilts... Thank you ma'am for the video and you have a very pleasant personally, it was pleasure to see you.
Love this... finally something to do with my charm packs:)) I've thought about this idea for a while. Thank You for making it seems so easy:)) Hope you and Matt are having huge success with your new store:)) Bless you both.. GB
After watching this video, I made a table runner, just like it for my partners mom. One of her friends loved it and I'm now making, her one! Instructions are really easy to follow.
So happy you guys cut all your pre-cuts. I don't know what the story is with Moda and the other companies that mass produce pre-cuts. They're not as straight anymore, it's almost like these giant companies don't care about the product as much as the product brings to the table.
I really enjoyed watching this Prairie Points video because I understood every step you did. Since I'm not a quilter that's not always the case, but I still love watching all of your videos. In my first career I taught high school art and crafts for several years. From that experience I am able to recognize just how much time you must spend planning all the steps of your tutorial videos and streamlining them to perfection. There's never any hemming & hawing. That skill doesn't happen overnight. I love how this table runner turned out. The charm square prints & colors work beautifully together, and the dark blue backing is a great choice since the runner is reversible.
I would like information on prices of the packages cut by your husband. That would be for Kelly roll squares and the pkg, of 10 inch squares. My address is frances seymour 6 Armstrong crescent north Sydney Nova scoita.cañada. b2a 3r9. I want to buy my fabric from your Company. I think you are wonderful. Thank you.
Donna, I love watching your tutorials. So informative and so very helpful in sewing techniques. I decided to try my hand at this table runner. I have pictures of my finished runner, but was unable to post the pictures. Hey! Everyone! Give this runner a try, it is really fun to make. I love it!!!
I like your tutorial. I have trouble keeping track of my pattern if I get interupted. Lots of tutorials say to make stacks but few go into the detail you did. Thanks
I really enjoy your tutorials. I am a beginner and with you explaining in detail is so helpful. I love this table runner, i am going to make one for my daughter.
I just finished mine. I love it and for someone who is not good at sewing, it was easy to make following this video. Thanks so much. Love the batik mix precut charm squares.
I made this adorable table runner! I guess I didn’t quite get enough of Christmas. Wow. I just loved this project. The best part of your tutorials is that it’s easy to translate into other fabrics that may be more pleasing to our eye. Look how cute this turned out! I’m a beginner sewer and it really was easy. Thank you Jordan Fabrics!!
What a terrific pattern! Your instructions are top notch from start to finish. I took some tropical charm packs I had and made this as a birthday gift for my friend. She loved it and so did I. thank you!

I finished my runner made with fabric named " Lovely" I started a baby quilt using these charms in 2015, brought out the three charm packs left over and made mine as a hanger for my front door. I love how it turned out. thanks again wish I could share some of my pieces with you.
