    Donna, this is a fun tutorial. I love that you brought the viewer in and walked us through the process of picking a background fabric. All of those backgrounds worked. My preference is the bright yellow. The black background fabric worked beautifully with the color of the quilting thread. As always, thank you for sharing these wonderful tutorials and free patterns.

    I love these TH-cam videos from Jordan fabric. They don’t skip a lot of steps and they teach you what to with leftover fabric. They get right to the point. Unlike most videos, there is usually No music before, during or after the videos. I let them play all night long and I don’t have worry about loud music and sounds at the beginning of each new video waking up my husband. Well, there are the commercials, but I skip them ASAP.

    • @lucygray6162
      @lucygray6162 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I also love the fact that she doesn't try to be a celeb like so many others on here. As you say, they have to do all their cutesy self-promotion for the first ten minutes, then rush through the instructions. I'm too old to enjoy antics. Donna has the experience, too, which many up-and-comers lack. I look forward to each new video from her, and often recommend her to my friends who prefer substance to giggles and vapor.

No offense to Jenny with Missouri Star Quilt Company, I love her too, but Donna just seems better like I could actually sit down for hours and just learn and Quilt. I have been watching your video's for a while and I rarely choose the same color you do for quilting, my inexperience, this is the 1st time I chose the same color you did. Love your video's, I have learned a lot.

    I'm with you Donna, black was my fav with white after that.
    As always, you've blessed us with another intriguing pattern and tutorial. Thanks so much and appreciate it.

    I'm new to making quilts (just finished my first!) but I LOVE your videos! Showing how to select colors and fabrics, doing the borders and binding (that was an awesome video too!) and giving so many great tips and tricks I know helps people at all levels. Thank you!

    This has to be my all time favorite quilt. I can't wait to copy it, it's beautiful. I would go with the black. You can come up with beautiful combinations and you make it look easy, even for beginners. thank you.

      Anyway to still get the pattern? I tried the link and it led me other videos not relevant to my cause. Thanks

    Fantastic way to pin the rows together so you don't get mixed up and sew the blocks in the wrong order. Awesome pattern. Thanks - great video. 😊

    I was glad to see you pinning the rows together and do it row by row. I had a directional quilt I "LEARNED" that on. I was trying to save trips to where they were laid out. My seam ripper had quite a work out. Pin, sew, return, next row. a very good time and mistake saving idea.

      Oh my God I love this pattern and because I'm a freak for batik fabric this is going to be a fun project for me.

      Go to Dashing Diva website for nails. My daughter wears these and says they last about 5 days.
