@@ZenGuitarStudios I just got the note 9 and with pretty heavy use my phone lasted 14 hours before dying with no battery saver, qwhd on, and always on display on. I was streaming, listening to music, scrolling social media, using the s pen, updating and signing in to all my apps, and a little gaming. The screen was off for maybe 2 hours throughout the 14 hours and I was still listening to music that whole time.

Michael McAllister that’s just personal preference. For me the Samsung’s curved display totally kills the experience for me.
How isit better when Apple is using the same Screen as Samsung
@@cryptocult4860 apple is using an old version of oleds display for there iPhone x. If your an apple sheep you won't believe this. But if your a smart guy and do some research you'll figure it out :p
The iPhone X had the most well received smartphone display by DisplayMate at the time of release. It was at the time the record brightest mobile display on the market. It wasn't old technology, it was custom designed by Apple in conjunction with Samsung and was factory-level color calibrated. Super AMOLED is just a Samsung marketing term, LG's P-OLED for instance refers to the same technology. The iPhone X also has a PPI of 458, making the Note 9 only about 12% perceptibly sharper. That only took two Google searches.
Samsung super amoled on note and s line undoubtly looking the best but the curve is a hassle in a lot of way just my opinion
I don't understand why they don't allow you to map the bixby button. That literally seems to be the only complaint from like everyone

Yeah Samsung keeps ruining Android and trying to do their own thing.. it’s really a shame that software is so messed up because they have been killing it hardware wise since the S6 and arguably note 3/4. Imagine a Note 9 with stock android and only S pen features on top.

I heavily started using the S-pen more than I thought I would. I mean I'm always on the go and my profession requires me to send back and forth edited images and documents. So the s-pen is amazing. And the Penup app is just great.

Nice real life review of the Note 9, Jud. Just one thing I noticed when you went to visit the winner of the giveaway; why did you take the selfie in portrait orientation? Wouldn't it have made more sense if you had turned the camera to landscape to fit everyone in? Not a big issue, just something I noticed.
Also, I thought Arie shot your videos with you in them. I only noticed that it wasn't her filming when you rang her to ask her what you needed to pick up from the grocery store. Who shoots your videos for you when you appear in them? It didn't look like you were shooting in front camera mode.

The reason why the selfie came out blurry was cause you took pic from some buttons on the side which might have made the pic blurry like it could have made the phone move a little bit. Try pressing heart rate sensor on the rear to take selfies without any blur if shutter button is not accessible

You can turn off the Bixby button. I have S9+ and the first thing I did was turn off Bixby altogether. I wish more reviewers would mention that you can turn it off so the accidental presses don't happen.

@@amyconn7284 if you swipe right at the home screen, it will show you bixby homepage. From there at the top, there is an option to turn off the bixby button. In this video, this guy doesn't turn off the bixby button which is kinda wierd considering other samsung phones that have bixby button can turn off.
Yes you can turn it off but once you accidentally hit the button it is back on again.

Is it just me or did anyone remember when the Note 3 came out you didn't have an iPhone plus and everyone was like that phone was too big and the following year the Ipone plus came out and everyone all of a sudden started to like larger phones?
