AndyTillison- I absolutely love your music, brother. May the’North Sky, and Polaris ‘bless you , and inspire you- and keep giving us these masterpieces. I like your political point of view as well. OK very happy holidays Andy and tangent.
Hey Scot! #3? Well i knew Jon would be up there like i said the other day. Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful wife, I won't say her name. Don't forget to leave some snacks out for Santa, and maybe a YES album to jam while he is munching down! Peace my brother.👍☮️👑🐍🙏🎅🏻🧑🎄🤶🎁🎄☃️⭐️😎
Big Big Train takes my prize. Love this , and Emerald City Council a very close runner up , looking forward to anything from the future from them. Incidentally hugely excited for Steven Wilson's new offering... bring it on. Another reason for 2025 to hurry along. Have an awesome Christmas Scot. 😍🎵🎵🤘
Great stuff all year Scott ,love the prop corner and love your work, you are a shining light in a sometimes crappy world, take care and all the best for the new year,I would suggest you sort that cough out !
Good man, Scott,- for ranking the brilliant masterpiece’ the anachronism ‘ by the tangent as your number one epic !excellent!. I look forward to doing a deep dive into some of the other ones that I don’t know about, but that I learned about today,,,, and to you and your wife and family a very PROGGY merry Christmas.!
Once Upon a Dream is my Epic of the year, is everything that we, proglovers, want to hear! Kenso - "決してサヨナラではなく" (It's never goodbye) is my favorite song of the year.
I had a few tunes I loved this year that when I check fall into that length between ten and fifteen minutes like "Perchance to Dream" by Rick Miller or "Journey to a Shrine" by Karfagen. But I have two to add to discussion. "Nero" by Oresund Space Collective "Fear" by The Windmill Rock on!
Playlist if you want them all 16 stacked up like I do th-cam.com/play/PLAimWD1o7U73Fv3VwZzG5qOr6X-zISvx4.html&si=cF3mImMac2atk4LO well, 15 & 1/5 to be precise, almost sweet sixteen, cause one of the epics and it's the one I wanted to hear the most couldn't be found in its entirety. Enjoy!
No surprises from me. It’s gotta be Once Upon a Dream from Jon. It’s what I know and I know what I like. Admittedly I’m not familiar with most of your picks. You know how it is Scot. I do know those Versa and Tusmorke albums though. Good stuff for sure. I need to check out that Beardfish album. I’m not there yet. Frost…hmm. Should I?
@ Andy’s involvement is why I’m sniffing around. I like modern as long as it’s organic sounding. I’m finding that the older I get the more I’m disliking Prog-metal. I’ve said it before: wood over steel for me.
An honour to be in your favourites - thankyou very much Scot and keep up the great work
Andy Tillison is my hero!!!!!

Maya is the first name

The Likes Of Us didn’t have any staying power? I think I’ve listened to it every other day since its March release.
Right????

Frost* is very modern but they’re still very awesome…

Toehider - Toad Hirer?
Circe and Christian tune "The Chariot" is great, although I find all the tunes are long and good on it.
👍👍👍
