I’ve been a huge fan for quite sometime now, I’m a metal head… not for the vocals or attitude but because of all genres metal is the easiest genre to listen and submerge yourself in the guitarists techniques and playing ability. Metal in my opinion has the most talented guitarists and they write the coolest things, I know you’re labeled post rock but you guys blend that metal sound with this always beautiful, always ambient and hypnotic clean (or dirty) sounding riffs and solos. I tell no lies man and when I say I think you guys are the greatest band to ever play I mean it. The most beautiful songs in the world come from you guys, you all are so fuckin talented and know how to use instruments to their absolute max potential. I’ve tried for years getting into post rock and I’ve listened to em all and I can’t find a single song from any album of any band that even comes close to what you guys do. I was told this by Marcin himself on his birthday about a year ago in the comments on their channel that Widek works with them on their albums in the studio/ production etc. ) Just by pure chance I happened to Mention that I also liked Widek because they / he sounds similar and Marcin mentioned they were friends and worked together on DD’s music! 😄 ). Years ago I heard "It all starts from Pieces", and I was caught all at once! Great songs, great musicians! Music that can make you dream and fly away - and always note-perfect. The new album is a wonderful work of art - I could lose myself in "Pulse of fading Light". And "Where all Things end" just shows that DD's work is far from any end. Great band, great music. Perhaps we'll see them on stage here in Germany some day soon. Keep on, DD! These days we need music like yours more than ever.
The space aesthetic mixed with metal music makes such a good combo. Loved all your previous albums and this one is no exception, keep making the world a better place!
The entire album depicts a complete space journey in a sequential order. It begins with the first track, When Life Meets the Void, where you venture into space, and concludes with the final track, Where All Things End, where you are drawn into a black hole. Thank you once again for blessing us with your music. It’s truly a masterpiece.

I grew up listening to metal. Bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera and the list could go on. But about five years ago, I had an encounter with God that completely turned my world upside down. Heavy metal didn't feel the same, especially with the lyrics. So I searched desperately to find an instrumental band that would meet that metal feeling I still craved. I found you guys during your second album and have been a fan ever since. Definitely my favorite instrumental band. And I have been playing this new album all day, everyday since the release. So yeah, you guys have a Christian fan. Keep up the great work. Love you guys.

Oh man.... I am only 1 month behind this time! The musical journey you guys take me on with every album is just amazing. Whenever I make a video compilation of gameplay footage for my discord friends.. you guys have been my best music for it. Whole album is a banger, but Pulse of the Fading Light ( 20:54 ) has to go down as an absolute HALLMARK track of this album though.
I just discovered you guys yesterday. I love the restraint. Soundwise, pure madness, the guitar picking itself into whole notes. The rhythm section, bad-ass simple complexity. But melodically it's sparse (aside from well-placed solos), and that's what makes it exactly on point for me. Lots of contrasts and surprises, but the melody is tastefully restrained.
This entire album is like nothing short of Extraordinary. I've been counting the days to this album's released and you guys went above and beyond to deliver! 10/10!! 🔥 Absolutely amazing!! Thank you so much for yet another masterpiece! You guys are my favorite band and I'm always, always grateful for more of your music!!
