Allen, Having fixed TVs for 60 years, still interesting to watch someone else struggle with LCD TVs.. Did quite a few b4 retiring, now only repairing vintage audio. I hope to never work on another TV ! I have two Older Samsung TVs, very nice sets. Hope I don't need to replace them soon.. I assume you're just doing this now to maintain some sanity ? Take care over there from Oregon....
there is a 46 inch tv like this for only £20 in my town but don't have a stand been on a few weeks so might have gone. I don't know if to get it or not. I don't need more tvs.

The old Samsung models lasted for years. The new ones are crap lucky if you get 2 yrs out of them
I have seen the inverter board have issues on these. Never had a tube burn out, broken lots of times and connectors failed on inverter.
Nice old set when they made good tvs thanks Allen😊
it might make a good lone set
without even seeing it ,it has bad caps
another success master. 😺

Yes you do.
Power consumption on such old ccfl TVs can be a pain.If you have cheap electricity where you live,I'd say ok buy it.

Did you replace 1 or 2 caps
I replaced only one with enough value to sort both as they are on the same rail.
