I'm 26. I started smoking black and milds two years ago to help me stop smoking mari juana...it worked, but now I'm trying to quit smoking black and milds...This is the first time I've watched a how to quit video on how to stop smoking since I've started nearly 2 years ago. It's been one hour since I smoked my last b&m and I'm having cravings already. I'm distracting myself with snacks, soda and youtube. It's not the healthiest alternative, but instead of taking that smoke break, I'm sitting here typing this. Hopefully I can continue on this path. I'm tired of smelling like smoke and worrying about my health...this stuff is not good and I want to stop. Thanks for the concise video. Good luck to everyone who is taking action to lead a healthier life.

You got this ! You’re not alone . I used to smoke Mary Jane but got pregnant - so that made it easier in a sense . As soon as I delivered though , I bought a vape 😢 and been vaping ever since . I’m quitting today and same .. TH-cam , soda , snacks and going to sleep helps . We got this ❤ I’m proud of you for even wanting to stop .. especially cold turkey .

Find something to give up for. A reason to think about when you have that craving.

Oh there's so much help now and don't be afraid to use it. Nobody will think less of you and uf they do that's their problem not yours
I quit after many attempts using the nicorette patch. I bought ones in date from ebay. I typed in 25mg 14 patches and they cost about ten pounds sterling. So only a fiver a week! I downloaded a quit app for lots of tips but mainly kept it in my head that one isn't just one it's back on the nasty treadmill. It wasn't easy for first few months but does get easier i promise. Look after yourself

Tobacco HAS to be one of the most addictive substances ever! Who starts smoking and really thinks “I’ll do this shit for the next 40 -50 years and die of a smoking related illness, and spend enough money to buy a house while I’m at it!”

I gave up june 1st 2014 and never had a cigarette since! It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do! I don't even think about it anymore.

I’m 17 and have been smoking since I was 13. In college now and I need to start using my money for more important things than drugs and comic books so this is a good step

Biggest mistake I ever made, was to quit smoking. I got fat. I gained 140 pounds. I struggled with diet and exercise but I could not stop the weight from coming on. I went from a slim 135 all the way up to a big fat pot bellied 275. That's right, I almost made it to 300. So I went back to 2 packs a day. I've only lost about 12 pounds so far, but I still believe, if I smoke for another 2 or 3 years, my weight will finally come back down again. Had I known I was going to get fat like this, you best believe, I'd have never quit smoking the first time, and to top it off, quitting was very tough for me to do

Alcohol is my demon but cigs are not far behind. 16 days sober but still smoking. I’m taking one thing at a time, but quitting is on the horizon for sure.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 6 months ago about self development. Now I have 602 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

My experience was mind over body !
I was a heavy smoker for 30 years ,I fine day after the last puff I decided to quit .
I just stop instantly telling myself to resist the craving .
For the first few weeks there is much withdrawal syndrome but by and by the craving stop..
After couples of months the craving had completely stop and the moment you notice cigarettes smoke smells awful that’s the time you have succeeded!

Smoking is one of the main causes of preventable death worldwide. The Scriptures say: “God . . . gives to all people life and breath.” (Acts 17:24, 25) Since life is a gift from God, why do anything that would shorten our life, such as smoking?

My mother had buergers disease. She had her leg amputated just below the knee. She still didn't quit and sadly passed before even getting fitted for a prosthetic leg. She was 45. I watched her pass when I was one month and one day shy of my 10th birthday. Please find the strength to quit. I stupidly began to smoke and im searching for the strength to quit. I saw what my mom went through and I don't wish that upon anyone. Which is why im looking to quit as well. Stay strong! You got this. ❤

First step , don’t hate yourself ! Be easy on yourself , if you can’t cold turkey - just limit yourself and then continue to ween off . You’re not alone , you’re not the only one struggling to kick the habit ! You got this ❤
