i just started her program. i fell inlove with her approach and am very familiar with CBT therapy, which is the system she uses. So i already knew that, so i transferred that to no smoking. I am so far 6 days smoke free. i went cold turkey from a 20 plus year habit. i do not crave it, at all. i caught myself doing habits, but those were not cravings after the 3 day point. i literally built up new neurological pathways by my positive thinking. thank you. I am a part of her facebook Group and at day 3 I disappeared cause i was doing a full life transformation. I bet they think i went away cause i failed. im soooo excited to report back in, when i am ready. but i feel so strong and i feel free. Robin
I just watched this video for the first time. I was released from the hospital 2 days ago after 11 days in with bacterial pneumonia. I have smoked for over 40 years. I am 2 weeks smoke free today but using patches from hospital. This is the longest I remember being smoke free in 40+ years. I am also a recovering alcoholic of 1 year and 8 months so the mindfulness of addiction resonates with me. I am grateful for the opportunity to live a clean life. Thank you God for your Grace!
You are a beautiful gift from God, from watching your previous video and now after getting a prescription from my GP for smoking aids today i will not be going to the pharmacy, ive just thrown my cigarettes away, i am 100% committed. God bless you. Blessings from Ireland.
I feel like the TH-cam Gods blessed me with this video. Tip 5.has been an eye opener. I believe I am a rebel at heart and everytime I have tried to quit it bcz of others .. the love of my life gave me an ultimatum today and I got upset bcz I felt he doesn't appreciate my efforts to quit...and ended up smoking more than usual. Thank you for these great tips 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for your informative videos and clear explanations! I am an ex heroin, fentanyl and meth addict who has been clean for over 5 years. However, I continued my smoking addiction and could never truly commit to quitting until this past week. By including your methods and focusing on reversing the psychological aspects of my addiction, I am confident that I can and WILL stay smoke free forever! You can truly do anything that you set your mind to. All it takes is a bit of self reflection, a strong belief in yourself and a well thought out plan. 💪 That said, thank you so much for sharing your expertise. You are truly changing lives and your work is deeply appreciated. Take care. ❤
For me mindfulness is the most important tip. It reminds me who i really am, distances me from my mind and body, but in the same time brings me closer to these ones. Because when distance appear, more subtle signals are available to experience. Thank You Nasia ❤
I'm just starting to watch her program and omg, she is great. The way she breaks down how to accomplish quiting. When she broke down what's in cigarettes, which we all know, but how she stated, made me think, " oh my, cigarettes are legal version of meth!". Makes you think about all the nasty things they use to create these devil sticks. I'm starting my process and have a day. One day at a time for me. Thank you
Watching you has been a big help. I bought some sugar free sweets for the first three months. Now I have cut them out almost. Something for when I am driving.
I agree, its gonna be a mindbattle. For years I've been on depressants, but I'm off medz for three months now. But now I'm smoking too much. Two packs of 20's or more a day
I can't find the link you said would show below the video about your favorite mindfulness methods. An you please show or send me the link? Thank you so much. (I loved this video, very helpful).
I started smoking as at the time, less than a year ago I noticed it help my pain symptoms from other illnesses related to Lyme disease. I know know it is actually adding more stress to my already stressed body which was already trying hard to detox. I smoke 4-5 small cigs a day, but it is harder than ever to stop. Even at only 4. I was already isolated, high anxiety due to prolonged illness that has even affected my gut. Why is it so hard when I'm only smoking 4. It must be the strong mental attachment...
You are right. I started at 4 packs a day, got it to 10-15 cigs a day, and my best friend got mad at me. I was supposed to just quit and never think of it again, apparently. All that did was make me stubborn and not want to quit anymore. So yeah, you have to do it for you.
Be honest. How in the hell did you smoke 4 packs a day? You were lighting some and taking a puff or 2 and tossing it. There are only 24 hours in a day. It takes 5-10 mins A pack is $11.80 here...that alone cut me to half a pack... after a few years
@@tricktaylor Sadly, I am being honest. I worked from home, it was a stressful job (managing four teams while doing projects on the side), and I chain smoked. I pay about $1.25 per pack because I order tobacco online and roll my own. I worked usually 15 hours a day (sometimes more), so thank goodness I quit that job. It was an immediate reduction in smoking.
As much as I love this and I'm going to give it a shot I think the big thing is that people need to know that when people crave nicotine their dopamine levels have dropped when they smoke a cigarette they're dopamine levels are instantly raised it is the fastest hitting drug to the brain that there is even more than heroin my fear is as much as I feel that this video is going to be helpful or if I sign up it'll be helpful how do I increase my levels of dopamine if I've been doing it with nicotine for over 40 years will my body remember how to do it on its own
Chantix actually helped me a whole lot to stopped smoking!. I don't think about smoking or have the desires to smoke again. So for me Chantix really works!
Had a friend stop using Chantix. She has been smoke free for over 2 yrs. Wish I could use it but cannot afford it. Just finished day 37. Pure hell. I am using the gum. Only way I got this far.
I chew on average 10-12 2mg nicotine gums per day for more than a year now. I've been totally cigarettes free. But now i struggle with this nicotine gum, and i have no idea how to stop. Totally addicted. I even think about going back to cigarettes again to wean myself off. I was only smoking like 3 of them a day. And now i put more nicotine in my body that i was before. And it doesn't make any sense. Is there any substitute to nicotine gum that helps you to get off of it? Maybe a similar to nicotine gum some non - nicotine gum, that gives you a similar feeling when you chew it, but it won't contain any nicotine in it? I'm not talking about a regular gum that you can buy in a store, but some medicinal gum? Is there such a gum exist? Do you know by any chance? Any feedback would be very helpful.
In August 2024 ill be 5 years cigarette free, im now nicotine free from non nicotine vape for 2 1/2 to 3 months, now im going through withdrawal from not vaping at all for about 2 days.
I think why some folks might bitch about this it gets you think about smoking just talking about it I think that's will make it even harder because every time I encounter this is want a cigarette so I have to say no to myself or tell myself I already had a cigarette so I can watch this to finish it.
You have to know that tobacco is always the wrong answer. You will always be right if you never do it and you will always be wrong if you do it. Tobacco will only threaten every aspect of your life. Deep breathing will help the stress. Cravings are just thoughts, and i have every thought i need on my phone to always have a brighter idea than tobacco.
Hi Marsha we have replied to another one of your comments on how to be pain-free and happy through your entire quit. You don't need to suffer for 3 months or any amount of time.
You must be either from Russia or the former Russian federation countries most likely Ukraine. You might be even from Bulgaria ,Hungary or Czech Republic Your accent says that.
Σιγά…Anything in life is mind over matter. You just have to get to the point that you’re ready to get started and make the change. This is not a new concept or great method. 😂🙄

Wow, this was a very nice video, I like that tip about sitting with the craving and sensation to reduce it to just a thought

The last tip nailed it on the head.
Thank you mam.. yours video help me lot ...I m enjoying my life without nicotine 🙏🙏

Beautiful.
I would like to know if using chantix or tabex which are nicotine blockers might help speed the process and make it less stressful
Day 8 has been really bad. But still holding on. 🤕
I need help getting time to quit i need you share the tricks to stop 🛑😢
It’s about me quitting for me. That resonates. Thank you!

What does CBQ mean?
Pretty much sums up what Allen Carr wrote in 1985 with his book Easy Way to stop smoking.
I love these videos it's like the more I know the better and she's the only one who actually cares about me not smoking and NGL she's very cute ❤

Just tell everybody it's easy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It is easy when you overcome the mental addiction. The lie is telling people it's hard and giving them pills and more nicotine.
I really want to quit
You got this! Every day is easier than the day before!

Dear God just get to it
Should I entertain the notion of only smoking 2-3 times a year when I’m socially drinking?
No!!!! You need to do her program. You need to let go of the notion that smoking brings you any pleasure.
I know, I know…you’re right Madeleine! I’m being stubborn …😆
