I made this and it's first time I tried cakes with peanut butter, it's heavenly. The portion is slightly small though so I am gonna to increase the portion by additional 1/3. Thank you for the wonderful recipe.
I think the butter and egg are little separated like oil and water separated , but surprised that the cake turns out great ! Normally baking butter based pound cake , the key step is to emission the butter and egg. Thank you !
@@isratkhan7318 hmmm, that is probably not true. A successful pound cake need to make the batter reaching the consistency before adding flour. You can pre add some flour to help the oil water separation issue, but before adding the full amount of flour, if the butter is watery, the texture will be not right. I have proved this many many times!! but, we can always to adjust the butter egg temperature to avoid it. Also, as long as the cake is tasty, it is a delicious cake!!!

Because the cake will crack different directions and might look messy without the incision. When I first baked butter cake I didn't know about this and it cracked sideways hahaha

Actually, a little bit of separation of the butter doesn't affect the final product. The batter gets homogenized while baking.
