Great vid 🙌🏽 In the pic at the end, it says #4 is DRL (wire beside the turn signal wire). Would connecting the red wire to that wire allow the aftermarket LEDs to run when light switch is on auto? Cause as mentioned above, attaching it to #8 (Width Light in the pic 🤷🏾‍♂️) requires to turn the light switch to parking lights. TIA for letting me know 👍🏾👊🏾

How can you get the white DRL to be on during the night time instead of the blue? I don't care for the blue color but want the white DRL to be on during the day and night

Just don’t connect the blue wire

If you want the DRL lights on day and night, and you have the after market kit... just unhook the blue wire.

So the problem is this, and I’m pretty sure everyone will notice that, you have to turn the switch to on to parking in order to use these new drl, but it you but it on AUTO, it doesn’t comes on with the headlight drl, question is how to get these to actually work like a real drl when on auto.

When it’s dark enough they will come on. Thats why it’s connected to low beam. You can change the setting in your radio to adjust the headlight drl.

If you want your DRL lights on day and night and you have the after market kit, simply unhook the blue wire

Yea that’s what happen to me it only works with the parking lights

Why only xse models but not se

Because 1. The XSE wiring to the headlights is different and 2. I made a separate video for SE/TRD right after this.
