    Excellent video. Every step very well explained. I definitely prefer this look over the other ones (whiskers lights). You did a great job on this install as usual. The dismantling of the bumper, cutting, and wiring is outside my comfort level even though you make it look so easy. I’m definitely ordering a pair these lights for my 2021 SE, but will either get a friend to help me or just bite the bullet and get professional installation. Thanks for posting this video. Very helpful!

    Good video very informative. I bought my fog lights from HI Rev Sports. I had a custom shop install mine. I figured it was easier. However he noted the new bezel not being flush. Mine are like that to on the outside bottom corner, there is a bit of a gap there. It's not really that bad maybe 1/4 inch at the most.

    Question: for the red power wire shouldn’t you connect it to an ignition based wire instead of directly to the battery? This will cause battery drain.

    • @bernercalito8422
      @bernercalito8422 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was thinking 🤔 the same but I think that the red wire should be connected to the battery and the white wire to the ignition or what ever power up by the ignition or vice versa. Doing that is a safe way to know that the lights don’t stay on in case you forget to turn off the switch.

    I might of missed it or nah but can you remove the light bulb or is it a sealed unit like all the other once I have seen so far? I'm looking for one were I can change the light bulb for a bright aF one that cost me 60 bucks. I miss my old Ford I had the power of the sun in that car, have the most expensive light bulbs for all sections in the front lol
    Edit: it looks sealed. I'm just going a buy the ford asembly and reused my bulb and make it work on the camry lol 😆

    Instead of cutting a hole in the bumper to fit the foglight cover. Couldnt you have sanded down the foglight cover piece instead so it could sit flush on the bumper? I am planning to buy this but i dont want to cut a hole in my bumper :(

    • @crimsonkamuri
      @crimsonkamuri  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re not even going to see it anyway it gets covered regardless.

    • @spartanshadow13
      @spartanshadow13 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't sand them down. It has clips so the upper piece would be lose and fall. You can buy the bezels from HRS. They fit flush. However, the edges are a bit rough. Not noticeable once they are on though. I won't recommend you to buy the kit at HRS with the fog lights. The fog light kit Jay Crimson use is much much better. It has the extra wire that powers the switch button so you can put this on the tailight fuse. The one HRS sells and many ebay sellers don't have this wire so the switch is always receiving power. Look closely at the video and see the kit he has. The fog lights kit is in two pieces with two sets of wires joined by a clip. This is the model you should buy in ebay.
