Thanks so much for checking out the game, Wander! The speed controls are definitely in progress, as well as some balance tweaks to make that first Crown more obtainable and to make gold more of a meaningful resource to be managed in the mid game. Your feedback really means a lot and will definitely drive some improvements between now and the official release date!
I think at around 32:50, perfection was the enemy of the good. Adding the turn to the first path just converged the 1st and 2nd path back together and increased the density. adding to the third path on top would have helped spread the lanes out better.
From another channel I saw covering this game, it seems that if you have two roads connecting to each-other the enemy will spawn where the two branches met and go their separate directions from there. The game over thing I think is just if you don't have any legitimate spots to build a new road.
An interesting concept, though I think it could use some more visual flair and identity. As is it just seems like a bad NES game visually. I'm not a graphic snob by any means, but this one seems a bit much for me.

You also keep talking about spreading the enemy out, then making the paths the same length, so they hit your final defences at the same time.
He doesn't know how to count apparently
So far an interesting looking game
Unless i missed something, couldn't you just turn roads in on themselves and close a loop?
I was wondering that as well.
in the tutorial it says blocking a road is a game over

Time On Target. You want to maximise the amount of road a tower covers. (Unless it’s two or more roads that will be active at the same time.)
this game looks amazing, Im sooooooooo grabbing this
feel like pointing out thematically it's appropriate to just put a lot of goblins cause they're often swarm-y enemies
I dont like that we can't close shops they should get uses
I don't like it, but I respect it. Its a layer of risk vs reward to force players to make risky decisions for large payouts.
Cool game, but why would you post a game crash run? So frustrating!

Please play totally accurate battle simulator.
TABS is definitely a goofy fun game for the strategic thinker
