A couple of people mentioned DangerouslyFunny's video where he reached ridiculous Gold values to become unkillable and have also insane damage. This is no longer possible in the game as the gold gain is capped to 100 per fight (out of the perk), which used to be different. According to people commenting here, the lowest estimated number is 32 digits, but let's math it out: We simple put 153 into an Excel sheet, multiply the number by 3 and drag that down to repeat it. Since the run shows all the numbers (or if not, I have the recording), I can go through them to follow up (I say that because just calculating didn't work, there was no number that 1:1 represented the video number [Correction, the issue was the search function can't search for results...]. But that's probably another 200-300 potions minimum, if not multiple values of that more. And each of those potions gives x3 to Strength. Dex, try this build in Vampire Survivors. Play as toastie and for the weapons go for Legionnaire, Paranormal Scan, and Peachone (Peachone doesn't have to be evolved). As soon as toastie reaches lvl 200, he will gain 65k armour, paired with the Bloodline Arcana. I've tried this and I've dealt over 25 million dmg in a single hit (if you're down to half hp). If you're at full hp, the Retaliatory Legionnaires will deal 4-3 million dmg which is still alot. I got 10 reaper kills then I quit the run before I got bored. In the end result in total the Legionnaires dealt 1.9 TRILLION damage then my game crashed at the end as soon as it tried loading other stuff in the end result screen. Thats the build that I wanted you to try.
I absolutely love how much joy you get from seeing goofy stuff going on in game. Because I noticed that your interface is different than the Demo, I signed up for the beta. Subscribed to enjoy more of your giddy laugh!
At 47:07, if you go frame by frame, you can see the specific single zero that only goes up and down on the screen. If you assume that it is the center of the number, you can infer it has an odd number of digits. By counting the digits to the left of it (23), and knowing it has the same amount to the right of it, it seems to have a total of 47 digits. That was a sixty quattuordecillion (siks-tee kwah-tohr-deh-sil-yuhn) damage! At 46:40, you can see another big number. This time, when you go frame by frame, you'll notice there is no zero that only moves up and down. Instead, you can find a pair of zeros where one moves slightly to the left and the other slightly to the right during the zoom animation. This means the number has an even amount of digits. When you count them, you'll find there are 'only' 46 digits. You just did about one quattuordecillion damage there!
3:10 It seems it gave you 2 strength because the perk makes it so the first item gets the ability to give you 1 strength on use but thanks to the magic mirror it was done twice Edit: 5:28 Well... .w.
29:35 that is either a programming oversight or an intended feature because the less broken way of implementing reductions is to have each apply individually so 5% off of the 5% off, which is how deals usually work, what they have it so is additive percentage off
A neat alternate gamemode for this would be; items have no damage/scaling, but quantity is what matters (so you get massive piles to try and dig through, also could be a character that triples all items but is 4x as weak). In any case, a gambler's fallacy delight it would be for normal players who don't know how to meta game, so that they could enjoy this sort of fun on a casual and catered playthrough.
Alright alright, you got the like for the torture and many hours of work... and for keeping my full attention that entire time I didn't realized I was focused in so much until you said that and I went "Oh, well, you've earned it!"
for anyone who was wondering the number at 46:40 is 101.766 duodecillion which is 101 followed by 36 zeroes and the one at 47:07 was 6 quatuordecillion or 6 followed by 45 zeroes
i have noticed that with the magnet claw you get better results if you pick up to the left of the pile you are trying to get, so everything sticks to the right side and falls farther over the drop hole
This run really shows how many games actually lacks. The number doesn't matter, but the physic objects really does. I best fix here is to accumulate them in a single object when a certain threshold is reached and give it a distinct color with greater effect (every 10 item). But it will only work until we ran out of psychologically distinct colors (usually 8 for each color in RGB = 512 colors, imagine 10^512 for threshold of 10). But that also means you can't use overflow exploit, if it also applies to player items. But more logical fix is limiting the spore counts to 200 and show multiplicative amount on each of them, whatever remains from division by 200 goes into normal spores. That more like the game, I guessed.
This has become my new favorite run of this game! I’m gonna call that the San’s Ending because that enemy decided you were not going to have another turn. 🤣
Another fun method to madness for this character is just an asinine amount of poison daggers combined with poison flasks. Works effectively the same but its more consistent to get going
I've been waiting for ages for Dex to use this character. Using Hand of Midas and Magnets would pick up everything magnetic. (obviously) Imagine a run with the one shot gold dagger.
Isn't this ridiculous. The dagger is more an early game than late game tool in the context of endless. Gold gain caps out pretty quick to a flat few hundred a turn, compared to the extreme exponential growth of throwing in 30+ strength potions without even using the claw. It can get very very far, but it's growth will eventually slow down to the point of being slower than enemy growth.
Magnet, golden dagger, anything that increases cash flow. Did a 210 floor run using that combo. Forget what I did for defensive, maybe just the artefact that adds HP for coins. Either way, after a while it’s really easy to get 300+ coins a round. I can remember a single golden dagger dealing in the ballpark of 21m in a round
you should have upgrade your item at the early stage as the price goes UP every level. Is a pain to see you skip that at the early stage. but it is amazing you get everything FREE later game! very nice play! TQ for the video.
I didn't cause it wasn't really necessary because I knew I go endless and the only thing I had to make sure of was having enough Gold to delete everything, to build up HP and to have Gold Dagger damage. Like none of the early items were still in the run later on, I didn't end up upgrading them, I destroyed them. And for the rest I didn't upgrade them until the cost of the Blacksmith was reduced to 0
dude your dedication is really strong. you put a lot of effort in your videos and i think all of us respect it. keep it up, you are the greatest in terms of content creation. big luv from Russia❤
39:21 That would be 43,584,805,026 or 43 Billion. And at 43:26 That would be 6,495,879,339,063 or 6 Trillion. And at 46:40 Yeah... Don't ask me. At a minimum that is 34 Fricking Digits.
43:26 Dex: "OHOHOHOHO! What was that number?" That was 6 trillions, 958 billions, 793 millions, 390 thousands and 63 damage. (for the record, the number that couldn't be displayed at the end is at least 10e36)
Art thou not entertained! *After dealing tens of trillions of damage to the boss before your first hook.* … 43:25 - deals nearly 6.5 Quadrillion damage
It seems the dev thought ahead of time and used a floating point variable, which uses exponents in its calculations to allow for bigger numbers at the cost of limited number accuracy. You can tell because after a certain amount of numbers it ends in a bunch of zeros
39:21 43 Bil 43:26 6.4 Tril 46:40 LARGE (damage goes off the screen so i can't see all of it but what i can see is at least 1 Decillion, or a million^5 *1000)
The upper number limit is likely 10^308, or 1e+308 (Upper 64-bit floating point limit). You could reach that by getting 150 starting strength (which looks like what you ended at in this video) and then punting 143 upgraded strength potions into the hopper. You were likely very close to hitting this limit actually. Although if you were to do this, your strength number would likely be stuck at 10^308 or change to "INF" depending on how the game implements its background shit
Initial thoughts. This is pretty exciting. I made it to 60 before the monster scaling started to outclass a gold run. And I thought that gold far far outclassed everything else, particularly your defence as you can stack gold to HP relics while continually getting more and more gold.
The issue with gold is that you are highly limited since they nerfed the max gain to 100 out of the perk, so its a flat increase against exponential scaling on enemies

at 46:40 the damage is 1e42 if im not wrong, which is 1 tridecillion, 17 duodecillion, 663 undecillion, 790 decillion, 517 nonillion, 770 octillion, and i take a wild guess some estimation of everyday objects at that quantity in a sphere gets us the diameter of the sun's atmosphere if not more, and is probably over the age of the universe if put in microseconds and attacks that hit past that point i get the impression it finally goes offscreen, and imo it's the smallest size when it just appears, so that's when most of it is readable

Yeah, my similar run ended the same way, with a mushroom dude dropping several hundred thousand poison sacs into the machine. I was using golden daggers, though. It is a remarkably stable game, even when the FPS drops below 1. Haha much appreciated, though I may disappoint that the next video will not be able to keep up with this one...or any video I'll make in the future, to be fair :'D
@@DexTag next level is to brake damage cap in warframe to see negative damage numbers tbh
There should def be a Dex character or item in the game.
I can stop imagining the guy yeeting a paper clip at near light speed towards a boss.
Nah that isn’t even close to light speed. It’s probably a few decillion times faster
@@kooskoos1234 So basically the paperclip travels back in time and erases one of the boss's ancestors? And thus changes the entire time quantum, meaning the boss could not even exist in the first place, which leads to a paradox that cannot exist in any functional universe and can only be resolved by creating a parallel universe?
Tldr: The guy created a new universe with a paperclip. I think even MacGyver would be a little jealous....
@@kooskoos1234 A paper clip near light speed would easily delete earth from the universe, as its mass and energy would approach infinity the closer you get to light speed. No need to get past an infinitely heavy object with infinite kinetic energy.

They actually used BigDecimal on the game for the damage numbers, so basically you cannot break the game by a very large damage number.
Hey my favourite German, i love the longer form videos but i do understand to play for a lengthy period of time gets boring but i love your content no matter the video length, much love❤
They couldn't defeat you with your damage digits, so they instead went for your frame rate numbers.
Awesome run! Thank you for all the effort pour into the run and the editing!!!
I actually had Toastie on my to-do list for ages now, just gotta find the spirit to do it. But that's a good reminder!
hell yea another vs video

I simply love his dedication to dungeon clawler! Its lovely to watch :)
Omg I had never heard of this game until seeing your playthrough! Definitely a hidden gem of a game and a TH-camr; awesome video!
3:10 It seems it gave you 2 strength because the perk makes it so the first item gets the ability to give you 1 strength on use but thanks to the magic mirror it was done twice
Edit: 5:28 Well... .w.
When the claw swept the top half of a machine packed with loot at 44m, without even having to grab, I lost it.
Amazing work Dex i loved how broken it was
This was awesome, Dex!!
I've never seen this game, never seen this content creator. But now, I want to support both.
Amazing video!
I thought the thumbnail was clickbait, but then I saw it was Dex and got really hype!
That video was insane!
Thank you so much Dex!
Hands down to the best Video I've seen yet!
Keep up the good work!
THIS video needs to be promoted. It's just satisfying to see this insanity and rarity of the Run
22 minutes in and I looked at the time remaining and just got a massive smile. It's already insane and it's not even half way over.
Dex: *Sees 400 coin upgrade* "I don't really want to spend that."
Also Dex: *has 7000 coins saved up*
Also, 39:21 that damage was 43,584,805,026.
46:40 damage was 101,766,379,051,777,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, or 101 duodecillion, 766 undecillion, 379 decillion, 51 nonillion, 777 octillion.
Very few youtubers go this far for a video. Respect!
I've never played this game. Never even seen it. But this is insane dude. This has been so much fun to watch.
For reference at 46:41 the number is 101766379051777000000000000000000… Dex, you are truly the breaker of dungeon crawler
This must be the best and most satisfying video I've ever seen in my life
48:00 if you leave and come back you can restart the level to kill him quickly instead of being stuck / dying
Your maniacal laughter keeps me fueled for the whole day. Also you are definitely going to be the reason things get nerfed
46:40 damage in the Undecillions
29:35 that is either a programming oversight or an intended feature because the less broken way of implementing reductions is to have each apply individually so 5% off of the 5% off, which is how deals usually work, what they have it so is additive percentage off
47:49
*Bootshroom really went:* "If I'm about to die here, then I'm taking you down with me."
Legend has it that poison spores are still being added to to this day.
Oh yes please more of this!! 👍
46:41 THAT IS OVER 1 DUO DECILLION!!!!!! HOW?!?!?!?
Alright alright, you got the like for the torture and many hours of work... and for keeping my full attention that entire time I didn't realized I was focused in so much until you said that and I went "Oh, well, you've earned it!"
for anyone who was wondering the number at 46:40 is 101.766 duodecillion which is 101 followed by 36 zeroes
and the one at 47:07 was 6 quatuordecillion or 6 followed by 45 zeroes
i have noticed that with the magnet claw you get better results if you pick up to the left of the pile you are trying to get, so everything sticks to the right side and falls farther over the drop hole
I love it when games can get completely out of hand like this
This run really shows how many games actually lacks.
Yooo, this video is your 1,234th which is pretty cool for how insane of a run you had
That's a lot of damage and a good thumbnail pic 46:39
This is the most epic run I've seen on TH-cam!!!
This has become my new favorite run of this game! I’m gonna call that the San’s Ending because that enemy decided you were not going to have another turn. 🤣
Another fun method to madness for this character is just an asinine amount of poison daggers combined with poison flasks. Works effectively the same but its more consistent to get going
before watching this is the most insane run ive ever seen but ive never watched this game so its a given
Was here when it rolled over to ten k likes... It does a fun flashy animation when it does that. Congrats on the run
It say something that I haven’t seen this game before and I can still understand how insane those damage are.
That was amazing. I'm surprised the game didn't crash outright, or get more janky earlier
@@michaelwatkins4155 Still would be fun to watch.
Really enjoyed this video. Insane numbers! Thanks for all the hours you put into it ❤
Magnet, golden dagger, anything that increases cash flow.

39:21 That would be 43,584,805,026 or 43 Billion.
And at 43:26 That would be 6,495,879,339,063 or 6 Trillion.
And at 46:40 Yeah... Don't ask me. At a minimum that is 34 Fricking Digits.
This is the first video I’ve liked in a while
Then much appreciated!
Hell yeah Dex, that's the content we love you for! ♥
The enemies knew they couldn’t win and so they chose mutually assured destruction.😂
Love the vids ❤
43:26 Dex: "OHOHOHOHO! What was that number?"
That was 6 trillions, 958 billions, 793 millions, 390 thousands and 63 damage.
(for the record, the number that couldn't be displayed at the end is at least 10e36)
You’re an absolute mad lad, Dex. Keep it up, though maybe don’t push yourself this hard all too often
Art thou not entertained!
*After dealing tens of trillions of damage to the boss before your first hook.*
…
43:25 - deals nearly 6.5 Quadrillion damage
It seems the dev thought ahead of time and used a floating point variable, which uses exponents in its calculations to allow for bigger numbers at the cost of limited number accuracy.
You can tell because after a certain amount of numbers it ends in a bunch of zeros
39:22 "43,584,805,026"
That 43.6 BILLION!
39:21 43 Bil
43:26 6.4 Tril
46:40 LARGE (damage goes off the screen so i can't see all of it but what i can see is at least 1 Decillion, or a million^5 *1000)
DAMN Great video like always Dex
The upper number limit is likely 10^308, or 1e+308 (Upper 64-bit floating point limit).
You could reach that by getting 150 starting strength (which looks like what you ended at in this video) and then punting 143 upgraded strength potions into the hopper. You were likely very close to hitting this limit actually.
Although if you were to do this, your strength number would likely be stuck at 10^308 or change to "INF" depending on how the game implements its background shit
If 143 would be true that would be fairly simple to hit actually
Getting flashbacks to the Fork from skyrim spiffing brit made overpowered
Initial thoughts.
This is pretty exciting. I made it to 60 before the monster scaling started to outclass a gold run. And I thought that gold far far outclassed everything else, particularly your defence as you can stack gold to HP relics while continually getting more and more gold.
The issue with gold is that you are highly limited since they nerfed the max gain to 100 out of the perk, so its a flat increase against exponential scaling on enemies
Man at this point if I had spare money you would get more than like...something before 40:20
I like your way of thinking, pushing to the limits and you know how to use brain, chain some things and for real show the interesting side of games...
You are like "spiffing brit" , just amm, without posion?.. Hmmm. Yes, just without tea empire!
Your brain is not colonised. ^^

The simplest build is scrappy with 1 gold dagger plus 2-3 hands of midas and the savings account, picky, and as many fluffy as possible. Remove every other item.
39:22 43.5B damage
43:27 6.4T damage
47:07 6 Octillion damage (27 Zeros)
at 46:40 the damage is 1e42 if im not wrong, which is 1 tridecillion, 17 duodecillion, 663 undecillion, 790 decillion, 517 nonillion, 770 octillion, and i take a wild guess some estimation of everyday objects at that quantity in a sphere gets us the diameter of the sun's atmosphere if not more, and is probably over the age of the universe if put in microseconds
and attacks that hit past that point i get the impression it finally goes offscreen, and imo it's the smallest size when it just appears, so that's when most of it is readable

Really satisfied with the last decision where you leave only 5 paperclips.
Amazing work Dex.
While watching this I got giddy with excitement. If only there were ways to avoid that absurd poison bug, maybe making the amount that can spawn capped at say, 50. The fact that a tiny enemy beat you by crashing the game is annoying because I wanted to see the shield+sword one do that.
This was insane!!! Very cool!
You hit that bomb for at least a decillion damage!! That's 30 digits! MINIMUM!
So, if my calculations are correct and, you would've been able to popp all your potions at the end, the strength stat would come out to
